35. Enemy or family

I ran towards him and held his hand before opening the door. He saw me surprised. "Tell me, what happened?" I asked without a second thought. Why do I care about him? "I. tripped over a rock." The answer is not long. The face was pale and there was blackness under his eyes. Could it be caused by a stone? I can't believe it.

"Then let's heal your legs." I don't know what I'm doing is right or wrong. I should have killed him without worrying like this. But I helped him without a second thought.

How can a child seem to say a broken bone is nothing. I mean, she doesn't even remember who she is and when she gets hurt like this she says nothing. As fast as it heals but the pain still hurts. Especially if he is a kid like this. Someone must have broken his leg on purpose, I'm sure.

Some days I always go to his room to see how he is. Zhen lay sick with a fever because his dantian was injured. I looked at Zhen vigilantly. Could it be time to kill him? He started to remember his old self. I hid the white dagger in my right hand to stab him in the heart. There was no chance of killing him.
