The Curse of the Dead Birth

The Curse of the Dead Birth
Are He and I the Same?

The sound of Sela's cell phone ringing is heard. He lifted the phone.

"Hello doc, " said Sela.

After a while, Sela closed her phone.

"What's wrong? " ask Dika.

"Mbak Sandya is raging. We go there now, "sela said.

Dika grabs the car keys while Sela takes the book and photos with her. They're heading for the hospital. Sela opened the door to see Sandya running amok uncontrollably. Doctor Siska prepared an anesthetic for him. When she saw Sela enter, Sandya looked at Sela's nyalang filled with anger.

"Fuck!!! " angry Sandya intends to jump and successfully detained by Dika.

"You who? " ask Sela.

"I am you!" reply Sandya.

"No! You are someone else, "sela said no less clashing with arguments.

Sandya drew Dika's arm which she then kissed her lips. Dika was surprised to push Sandya.

"You forgot me!! " call Sandya.

Dika confused and do not know how to. Sandya looked at Sela with anger.

"You took everything from me!! " angry Sandya.

Doctor Siska injects an anesthetic that moments later makes Sandya calm.

"My lips." murmured Dika.

"What was the beginning, Doc? " ask Sela.

"He woke up and went on a rampage looking for a man named Aldi who he said was his lover" replied doctor Siska.

"The aldi? " say Dika.

"You familiar? "asked Sela.

" It's not the name that's behind the photo" Dika replied.

Hearing this made Sela remember and then she took out the photo. Doctor Siska who unintentionally saw him squint his forehead.

" I'm sorry, isn't this a photo 15 years before now?"said Doctor Siska.

"Doctor knows this picture? " ask Sela.

Sela gave the photo to Doctor Siska. He was watching the photo.

"Look! This is a photo where the crowded camping place was talked about. 15 years before it was a beautiful and beautiful place, but everything changed when the massacre occurred, " said Doctor Siska.

"What happened doc? " ask Dika

"The slaughter of a crazy married couple who embraced a cult. You know the land of the Atmo and Joyo families? It was the place where the massacre took place and the bridge was the place where they dumped his body into the river, " replied Doctor Siska.

"But Doc! My sister just two years ago part went camping with her friends. But I found this photo. It is impossible if my sister is young until now without aging even a little," replied Sela refuting the statement of doctor Siska.

" Come to my room, "take doctor Siska.

They follow doctor Siska into her room while Sandya opens her eyes glaring at the ceiling.

" Death! "he said before his eyes closed again.

Doctor Siska opens her study drawer showing a shabby book to Sela and Dika.

" When I was in college, I was looking for information that I found interesting. One of them is this case, where people call it a case of stillbirth, "

"meaning? " ask Sela.

Doctor Siska opened the book containing his own handwriting. Information from the locals is summarized in there until the explanation can be concluded by the doctor Siska. Sela read it and then got a little picture.

"Did the same thing happen to my sister? " ask Sela.

"Maybe. Ever since your brother came in here and became a patient, I've been looking into this case and thinking about it" Siska replied.

"People refer to it as the curse of stillbirth. A person who lives and is born remembering his past and his soul can never go to the next realm before he completes his mission. But I don't believe it completely because this scene is where the massacre happened. Not all of them were killed but they always mentioned that the couple had a stillbirth curse," said doctor Siska explained what he knew about the curse.

"They mentioned that the couple was from a landlord family there, namely the Atmo family and the Joyo family, "said Dr. Siska.

"It looks like one of the families ran away and maybe that's your brother's biological parents" Dika said.

"That's impossible, because the two families have died all killed by the couple, "said doctor Siska.

They're speechless. Events that they think make no sense at all.

"You guys have been there, haven't you? " ask doctor Siska.

Sela nodded.

"Try to find something there. Other than the book you brought, there must be something. The safest and most secret is the house itself. The last page of the book tells what?, "doctor Siska said.

"Just a sentence. 'The dead must be born and the dead must be born. I am not dead because you do not understand. I was born because you hate. Your regret is proof that I am present. Your death was the thing I waited for the most until the end, "sela said, reciting a sentence she remembered.

"That's the code where someone who invented the book has to solve this problem. You are the chosen one. The case decades ago will be exposed, "reply doctor Siska.

Someone knocked on the door of Siska's doctor's room. He told the man to come in.

"Doc! On behalf of the patient Sandya died, "he said which made Sela stand up in shock.

They hurriedly checked the room where Sandya lived. Sela approached to see her foster sister lying lifeless. Doctor Siska immediately called an ambulance to bring Sandya's body. Sela felt strange about her foster sister's body.

"What injury is this? " ask Sela.

Doctor Siska prevents Sela's hands from touching Sandya's body before she gives her gloves. They both checked the wound that spread.

"I'm out, " said Dika.

Sela looked at the doctor Siska who replied a nod by her. They undressed Sandya and found wounds all over her body. Doctor Siska was surprised and saw her nurse.

"There have never been any injuries before" the nurse said.

Sela finds a birthmark on her left hand on Sandya's body that is exactly the same as her. The injuries Sandya had experienced were strange but not ordinary injuries like the ones made.

"Do you have to call the police? " ask doctor Siska.

"No need, " replied Sela.

Doctor Siska finds a piece of paper that Sandya is holding. He gave it to Sela. The paper is opened with contents that make anyone stunned.

"I died and was reborn in the same way" Sela read the paper.

"You must find the end of this tangled thread. It happened exactly the same as the previous case. They left the same message, " said Doctor Siska.

The funeral was held that day and was attended by Doctor Siska as the person who treated Sandya during this time. Dika and Sela stood beside Sandya's grave staring at the tombstone.

"There's something I want to talk to you about, " said doctor Siska.

Dika and Sela follow doctor Siska to the car. They were talking in Siska's doctor's car. Doctor Siska gave a piece of paper to Sela.

"That was the last clue I found. Do not open it before you get home. I beg you, " said Doctor Siska.

Only that sentence was conveyed by doctor Siska before he said goodbye to leave. Sela and Dika were astonished and confused but they did not think about it. Sela was in the car Dika daydreamed staring at Sandya's departure.

"Oh, calm down. Come to think of it again, " said Dika.

The car left the cemetery. On the way, Sela receives a phone call from the hospital saying that Siska's doctor had an accident.

"What's wrong?" ask Dika.

"Doctor Siska was in an accident, " replied Sela.

"Well! We just met you! " reply to surprise.

"This must have something to do with the curse, " said Sela who was denied by Dika.

"You must not believe too much" said Dika.

"I believe but if you don't believe me I don't have a problem. We cannot attend the funeral of doctor Siska because his family asked to be buried in his hometown, "Sela said.

Dika just breathed his long breath. Sela daydreams with her mind in chaos.

"Why is everything the same as me. Am I really him? " inner Sela.
