THE DANCE FOR RICH MAN

THE DANCE FOR RICH MAN
S2. King - Exit the operating room

King sat in front of the operating waiting room while straddling his chest, and leaned his back against the cold wall. One of his legs tapped on the floor occasionally glancing at the fancy, circular watch on his left wrist. Time has shown 12pm. Alessia had been in the operating room for two hours. King turned his head and looked at the surroundings, where the aunty Arra was still crying in Achelio's arms, then Alpha fell asleep in the chair after exhaustion of crying, and Alpha fell asleep, uncle Carlos was talking to a policeman not far from there.

"Based on the investigation, the accident was purely a single accident in which your daughter drove her car at an above-average speed, making her lose control and eventually slam the steering wheel to the left and hit a roadblock," obviously a fat man and wearing a police uniform.

"My daughter is a very obedient girl in driving and obeying traffic rules. There must be something that makes him lose control" Carlos said, rubbing his face with fret.

"Maybe your daughter has a personal problem that makes her emotional. And once again this accident is purely the negligence of your daughter, and there is absolutely no element of sabotage" the police said.

"Thank you for the explanation, and I'm sorry to bother you, sir" Carlos said, shaking the police's hand.

"It is our duty, sir. Hope your daughter gets out of the operating room and recovers soon" the police officer said.

"Amin, may God always bless you" Carlos said.

"Amen." The policeman said he put his hat on again, and then passed from there.

Carlos let out a rough sigh, when the policeman was already out of sight. He walked towards his wife who was struck by this incident.

"Lio, have you contacted your sister's fiancee?" carlos asked as he took Arra into his arms.

"Not yet, Dad, I'll call her now," Lio replied, taking her phone to contact Dexter and his family, but no one picked up her call, probably because it was midnight, so they're asleep.

"What's the outcome of Uncle's investigation?" ask King about Carlos.

"Al, not the type of woman who likes to speed, there must be something wrong," said King very confident.

"Does this have anything to do with Dexter? You see, I've been trying to reach him and his family since, but no one answered my call" Lio said, showing the screen of his phone contacting his sister's fiancee.

"If that were true, I wouldn't forgive Dexter!" furious Carlos.

Their chatter was stopped when they saw the open operating room, marked that the operation was over, and the patient had finished observing, and the patient was done, because not long after some nurses pushed the cage where Alessia lay weak there with the condition of the head wrapped in bandages and both legs in the cast.

Everyone who was there approached, except Alpha who was still asleep in the chair.

"Daughter Mommy, why is this?" Arra's cry broke again when he saw his daughter's apprehensive condition.

"Al." King clasped the girl's hand very tightly. Cold ... that's what King felt when he touched that soft, pale hand.

"Mommy, don't look sad, our daughter will be sad too." Carlos hugged his wife tightly.

"Sorry, everyone, can you pull over? Because we have to take the patient to the ward," said one of the nurses with a slightly upset tone, because the patient's family obstructed his duties.

"Okay, we're too panicked and anxious." Lio, who replied that King, and his parents, had to stay away, gave access to some nurses who would take Alessia to the ward.
