The Dancer (The Story of a Single Parent, Who Became a Night Dancer)

~ Cold nights ~

Gladis finished bathing his daughter, and she began to wear shine. This afternoon Gladis plans to take his daughter for a walk using a trolley.

"Dear shine. Mama will take you around the village of your great-grandmother.this village is very beautiful.even mama used to not want to leave this village."

Gladis recalled her childhood that could no longer set foot when she had to follow her parents to Jakarta and settle there by moving.

Gladis and his parents lived in a rented house for ten years and they often moved around because of his father's work. His parents decided to own a house and become a merchant. He lived near a woman who knew them because they were from the same village. Something very unexpected. They were able to meet, but unfortunately he did not get any news from his grandmother and grandfather. he who eventually lost both his parents and lived a lot of his own efforts was finally able to finish formal school until high school. he also eventually met with Jaka until finally married and dumped.

Gladis wiped away her falling tears because of her bitter past. She now does not want to feel that bitterness.she wants to feel the sweet life together with her beautiful daughter.

Gladis pushed the shine trolley and they were ready to go around the village. By the time he had walked far enough away from home. Gladis meets Aldi at a crossroads. Aldi approached the two women. He then volunteered to accompany Gladis around the village.

"No need Aldi. I can go around myself." Refuse Gladis subtly.

"Don't hesitate, I'm sure you must be a stranger to this village. You left this village twenty years ago. I also know that this village has changed a lot, only your grandmother's house may not change so you can still recognize her." Aldi insisted on accompanying Gladis.

Gladis finally inevitably accepted Aldi's offer.they walked along the path.the path to a place that could make them see the village of knowledge from above. the scenery is very beautiful and often people spend their time looking at the village from the top of the hill.

Gladis and Aldi sat down while shine were in a trolley that had been locked by the wheels by Gladis.they were both so amazed by the view from the top of the hill. Aldi who even often go up to the hill to eliminate fatigue is still often stunned by the beauty presented from the top of the hill. There they could see half of the beautiful scientific village.

Aldi felt like he had met again with love in his childhood, although he had never revealed it, but to him Gladis was the first woman to make himself fall in love, the always sparkling eyes made him never be able to forget the girl in his childhood.

"I'm glad you're finally back in this village. I once thought of going to Jakarta just wanting to know about you, but when I looked at the map. Jakarta is so vast and dense.I think again to look for you there, because I don't know where to look for you" Aldi said while laughing at himself.

"Jakarta is very broad. However, there was someone I knew, he was the only one who could search for the whereabouts of the person he was looking for. he would never stop and give up. Right now I'm sure he's looking for." Gladis looked forward.His gaze was as blank as his soul was not here.

Aldi looked at Gladis who was so focused with a forward gaze. He felt astonished about the person told by Gladis.

"Is everyone in Singapore able to do what he wants?" aldi asked very plainly.

"Yes, they did everything they wanted.they even lived very freely and were able to make a lot of money in just one night." Gladis Bright.

"I have a very free life there and there are no limits. I became even more afraid to set foot there." Obviously Aldi.

"If a man is afraid to walk on a dark path and is afraid to walk on a steep path. How can he win a woman's heart and how can he protect her?" Gladis spoke as if he was defending a man he knew and missed.

Gladis and Aldi finished looking at the village of knowledge.they decided to come down from the hill because indeed the day will soon be dark.

Gladis pushes the baby trolley to his house, he parted with Aldi in an alley because Aldi had urgent business. Gladis went into the house and put the shine on the mattress. He walked to the window of his room which he had not yet closed. He saw that the dark sky was already studded with stars and that its rays had illuminated all the way to the moon. Tonight a cool breeze came into his room through the window. The cool breeze made this night cold as his heart, and the star-studded night reminded him of someone who was in the bottom of his heart.
