51. Afraid and Safe

"But you can't eat sambal yet, have porridge already" said Gieno.

"I don't taste with porridge" Mentari's great-grandson.

"You want your stomach to explode?" ask Gieno.

Hearing Gieno's words made Mentari advance her lips. Honestly, his stomach was already feeling so hungry, but seeing hospital food made his appetite disappear. "The other, besides the spicy," Gieno said again.

Mentari's lips moved, the sweet smile was again present on the plain girl's face. "I want quail eggs" chirped Mentari.

"I ordered it. After it comes, you eat, I have to go." Gieno stood up from his seat, making Mentari look down miserably. For a few days he was always alone in his room.

"I'm always alone here, I'm lonely and bored" Mentari said honestly.

Gieno again sighed hearing Mentari's words. "Outside of someone guarding you, Zero's core also took turns guarding outside. They can't get in because you're always having panic attacks. If you want anything, you can yell at them. You're not alone, they're a lot outside" Gieno said.

"But I don't want them" chirped Mentari.

"Continue?" gieno asked confusedly.

"I just want Big Brother" Mentari's great-grandson.

Mentari's voice was so slow that Gieno's forehead again frowned. Faintly the man heard Mentari's words. A few seconds speechless, Gieno smiled obliquely when he could analyze Mentari's sentence earlier. "You want me here?" ask Gieno.

The mentor who was still lowered, nodded slowly. While Gieno who saw the movement of Mentari's head again smiled obliquely. The man approached, Gieno bent his body and pulled Mentari's chin to stare at him. For the umpteenth time, Gieno was stunned with those round eyes. A few seconds speechless looking into Mentari's beautiful eyes, Gieno began to make a sound. "Aren't you afraid of being around me?" ask Gieno flat.

The sun blinked his eyes twice, making Gieno even more anxious. "Fear" said Mentari.

Gieno frowned at Mentari's reply. "Why do you still want me here?" gieno asked again with a slightly confused face.

"I don't know either" Mentari replied honestly, she was indeed afraid of Geino and she also didn't know why she still wanted Geino to be next to her.

Gieno chuckled at Mentari's reply. 'Freaky girl, ' Inner Gieno.

"I was indeed afraid, what else was Big Brother's eyes sharp and horrible." Mentari's honest words did not offend Gieno at all. However, the man was instead poking at the lips trying to hold back a smile.

"But, I also feel safe if with Brother," continued Mentari slowly. The girl looked down again, it made Gieno speechless.

Now the man understood, if the girl before him still felt fear and trauma for the incident that happened to him a few days ago. According to Mentari, Geino's existence is able to provide a feeling of security in his heart and mind.

Gieno sighed hearing Mentari's words. "I'm only leaving for a while, once my business is done I'll be back here. You're safe, many Zero members are standing guard up front. I'm deploying Zero Alfa to take care of you, you know the ins and outs of Zero right?" gieno.

Mentari nodded slowly. Clearly he knew the ins and outs of Zero, because it was no longer a secret to everyone.
