Chapter 22 Ointment

Hearing the bluff, Rumi quickly took the food and opened the wrapper. He wondered why Aiden was next to him. Didn't Aiden leave?. But that's not what he should think about. Now he's starving.

Aiden watched Rumi eat voraciously. With full awareness he reached out his fingers to Rumi's cheek, in the area of the former slap "Why did you hurt yourself" gently stroking the cheek that looked fluffy due to food.

Rumi fluttered with her mouth slightly gaping her eyes fell on Aiden. The food he hastily put in his mouth has not had time to chew. Why did Aiden know that Rumi was hurting herself. Then, why did Aiden touch Rumi's cheek gently?.

Aiden who saw that scrunched his forehead again. "Compose your food first".

He was shocked, then focused on his food. Aiden breathed through his nose. His hands were seen fiddling with something in his pants pocket that aligned with the color of his suit When always fiddling, he took out an ointment there. Then open the sealed ointment and paste it with the index finger. The medicine stuck on his finger was instantly flattened around Rumi's swollen cheeks.

"What are you doing sir?" Rumi stopped her last mouthful before going into the mouth, glancing from the corner of her eyes to Aiden's side. Feeling something move around her cheek.

"Sttts. It's an ointment" he looks focused on continuing Rumi's treatment.

The woman was silent, knowing that Aiden was trying to treat her. He ate the last mouthful of his food which he chewed slowly. They were silent for a moment. Rumi has a theory, did Aiden go when he saw her to buy her ointment and food?. He wanted to justify his wild theory, but quickly dismissed his positive thoughts about Aiden. Maybe someone would bother to do that for them.

"Already" murmured Aiden. Re-closing the ointment cover.

"Thank you sir"

"Yes. Are you done eating?" Aiden glanced at the rest of the food parcels that had been leaped up still in Rumi's hands

"I don't know, there have been no reports of Elina's condition until now" Rumi glanced out the hospital window, hour after hour she passed without feeling the time showed almost midnight.

"Alright" he went out from in front of Rumi and disappeared between the hospital hallways.

He said, "Hais, Mr. Aiden, sometimes I can't understand" he's getting used to Aiden's attitude of running away. But Aiden's kindness today will certainly not be forgotten.

"Let's go" Aiden finally returned after twenty minutes had passed. Suddenly, he asked her to go somewhere.

Rumi who was sitting cross-legged in her iron chair was shocked by Aiden's statement "Ha?, Where does that mean?".

Aiden's eyes narrowed "Let your feet down, it's rude" to look at Rumi like an ascetic.

His mouth chuckled, It receded. His feet have also retraced on the white tiles of the hospital "Where to go sir?".

"Drama. You're sleepy, aren't you?" Aiden looked at his watch. Aiden is like a fortune teller, he always knows what Rumi wants "I'll take you" Aiden walks on Rumi's ekori.
