Chapter 27.8: Going to the Market

The light of the morning sun began to illuminate the room of the silly couple, as usual Tesla woke up first and immediately took a shower. Then he woke his wife up for breakfast.

"Ren woke up." said Tesla quietly as he shook his wife's body.

The 16-year-old girl woke up rubbing her eyes with her right hand. It was clear that he did not sleep well, his hair was messy, his eyes had black bags and worse he did not wear a single piece of clothing.

Tesla was a little surprised to see the state of his wife, immediately he asked her how she was.

"What's wrong with you?" ask Tesla in a flat tone

Suddenly Renner hugged her husband and he began to whine while talking intermittently.

"Yesterday. Nightly. There was the sound of laughter that kept disturbing Renner's sleep!!, the hyx" 

The bright red black noble clothes that Tesla was wearing were showered with Renner's tears, it was useless that he took a shower earlier. With the usual response, Tesla recalled the employee's remarks yesterday about the rumors of laughter that are often heard from this new home.

Tesla did not believe the rumors, but now he wonders why only Renner heard the laughter?. And strangely enough if the rumors the employees were saying were true, who heard the laughter? A neighbor? There was no house 300 meters away, this meant that the sound of laughter had to be very loud.

And this morning, only Renner could hear the loud sound of laughter. It's weird and it doesn't make sense. But there was something even more absurd, the Holy Demon Knight (call creature Renner) did not act anything when his master was frightened.

Slowly Renner let go of his embrace, now he started to calm down and began to digest his memories last night. Because Tesla did not believe in the rumors, for now he ignored Renner and focused on studying at PTB.

The silly and strange couple came out of the room, both wearing black red-lighted clothing a sign that they were Nobles. Today the weather is very sunny and it is nice to go around the capital.

In front of the door were already 2 maids who welcomed the couple. 2 The servant was Ra and his sister Ri, in unison they both bowed respectfully. Then Ra spoke softly "Your Majesty, breakfast is ready"

Tesla only slightly nodded, the couple walked in front and headed towards the dining room on the 1st floor. Kant was standing guard near the entrance. When he saw His Majesty, he immediately bowed in respect.

Kant, Ra, and Ri only bowed respectfully as they were now serving His Majesty at home. This was the norm of the society that existed in the Hades Empire.

Tesla and his wife sit down and start breakfast, Ra and Ri are next to Tesla and Renner. It is clear that Renner is confused by the behavior of Ra and Ri.

Tesla ate breakfast bread quickly, it was obvious that he was thinking about the rumors. Suddenly Renner surprised him.

"My husband?" Renner asked confused to see her husband not responding

Tesla quickly responded to his wife. "What's wrong?" reply Tesla

"May Ra and Ri eat with us?" ask Renner a smile

Ra and Ri are shocked and confused by the words of His Holiness Renner they just heard. Kant heard a little, he was a little surprised. But even though the three of them were shocked, they still tried to calm down in front of His Majesty.

"May, all of you take Kant" Tesla said as he finished his breakfast loaf

Ra, Ri, and Kant quickly rejected His Highness Renner's invitation.

"We don't deserve to eat with His Majesty" Ra said anxiously

"We lowly beings should not eat with His Majesty" Kant said lowered his head 

"Kant called Smile and Sient to make enough dining tables for 5 people" Tesla said

The three of them could only carry out His Majesty's will. There was no more reason to refuse the thought of the three of them. They were a little pleased with the order.

After breakfast Tesla and his wife went outside followed by His Majesty's personal bodyguard, Kant. After walking for a while, Tesla complained about something.

"Is it true that the nearest PTB is half a day away?" ask Tesla about Kant

"We will stop by the market first before going to PTB" Tesla said

"Distance to the market is closer, Your Majesty" Kant replied 

After walking until noon, the group finally reached the market. Only then did Tesla realize that the house he had just bought had a huge disadvantage, namely access to a very distant city. The geographical location of the house is at the southern end of the Capital which is still very rarely inhabited by people, naturally there will be a house with a yard of 300 meters.

But Tesla was already a little used to it, after all when he was in the farming village, almost no house as far as 2 KM.

Tesla stopped by the market to buy illusion magic items to disguise at PTB later. Although his goal was clear, he did not know where to buy the magic item. Fortunately, there is Kant who is always a mainstay of Tesla when he was struggling in shopping.

Actually the group had not entered the market area, they had only arrived not far from the market gate. They were hiding so that the Holy Demon Knights would not scare the person who was in the market.

They were hiding in a small alley, the Holy Demon Knight was right behind Renner. Soon Tesla called his personal bodyguard to buy illusion items on the market.

"Kant" said Tesla

"Yes" Kant replied facing Tesla and bowed respectfully

 Tesla took 1 gold coin out of his pocket and gave it to Kant. Kant immediately accepted the gold coins.

"Buy 2 items of illusion magic that can make my face unrecognizable" Tesla said

Kant nodded "Okay, Your Majesty" 

It seems that Kant is getting used to His Majesty's behavior to him which often tests his loyalty. This time he was not tempted in the least by the 1 pure gold coin given to him. With a smile, he will carry out His Majesty's orders.

Although he could now resist the temptation of money, but he did not know how to bargain for goods. One more problem, he also did not know the shop that sold that illusion magic item. 

Unwilling to spend all his energy searching for the store, he rested in a drink bar again. Either it had become his habit or that was all that came to his mind. Kant asked the people in the bar about the shop that sold the illusion magic item.

Who would have thought the bartender who sold potions at Kant at that time (Chapter 23) also worked at this drink bar. But Kant doesn't seem to remember the bartender's face.

The bartender clearly remembered Kant's face, slowly approaching Kant to chat with him. It is clear that this bartender had a particular purpose towards Kant.
