Chapter 37's

"Come, can you tell me what's going on?" jesslyn said as she looked solemnly at Bai who continued to be silent.

"Bai, you heard me, didn't you?" jesslyn said again while looking suspiciously at Bai.

"Ma-Master, I-it, Fan, d-he's dead," Bai said, leaving Jesslyn shocked as she stared in disbelief at him.

"I'm sorry, it's all my fault, Master. I can't protect her very well. I really don't deserve to be a big brother" Bai said again and lowered his head while clenching his hands tightly.

"Bai, calm down. You'll tell me slowly. Now take me to Fan's place, I want to check on her," Jesslyn said as she calmed Bai yanh into emotion and guilt.

"Okay, master, come with us. Me and Hua, will take you to her place" Bai said as she led Jesslyn to where she was headed.

Once there, Jesslyn was once again surprised by an empty house containing many people in it who were in a storm.

"What's this?" jesslyn said breaking up the fray that successfully made all the glances heading towards her.

"Master! there's a master coming!!" say one of the people in the room.

"He must have been sent by the government to help us!!" say one more person.

"True, our lives are safe now!!" said one of the people in the crowd.

There are many others besides those who act like this. After that, everyone who was there in droves ran over to Jesslyn. Meanwhile, Jesslyn who had been focusing on something had become disturbed.

"Huh!? tung-" said Jesslyn who was immediately cut by one of the people there.

"Master!! help us master!" said one of the people who was swarming with others.

"Please save me, me, master!!" say one of the other guys. Just like before, everyone swarmed Jesslyn in droves to be saved.

"Wait a minute!!" snapped Jesslyn who was upset because she was not breathing to talk.

Hearing Jesslyn who was upset, they grew impatient. Until one of the men forces Jesslyn to take him away from there. Of course it provoked a commotion for everyone there. Many felt unfair, then the commotion became more and more. They're pressing Jesslyn. Seeing that, Bai and Hua who were feeling uneasy and worried about his master, started taking action.

"You guys, don't push my master!!" bai said irritatedly as he barged into the society. Because of her careless behavior, Bai was treated harshly and Jesslyn was on the black.

"Whisper, you boy!! get out of here!!" said a man while pushing Bai violently to the ground. It was successful to make Jesslyn ride black and accidentally throw the man using the power of the wind to bounce outside the room. Seeing the look on Jesslyn's face that had turned flat and cold, everyone there was silent for a moment.

"What are you doing? you dare hurt her?" jesslyn said flatly as she walked over and stared coldly at the man. It made the man tremble in fear and did not dare to move in the slightest.

"Stop that, master. I'm fine, just a little scuff," said Bai who came by the papah by Hua. Making Jesslyn angry at once feel guilty has implicated Bai.

"All right, I get it. Then, it seems you misunderstood. I, never said that, I, came here sent by the kingdom. So, I'll reiterate once again, I didn't come here for you guys, that's it." Jesslyn said coldly.

"Fan, I feel the spirit of your presence here. Rest in peace. I'm sorry, I can't see you in the moments of your death. My business here is done, see you," Jesslyn said in her mind using tongues not heard by people, except the spirits of the dead.

"Bai, Hua, let's go" Jesslyn said again as she led Bai and Hua away from there.

"Yes, master," said the two.

5 minutes later.....

"Master, what about Fan?" hua said in a nod by Bai.

"Yes, as you said, while I was there before, I felt a lot of the aura of life disappearing. One of them belongs to Fan," Jesslyn said smiling wryly as well as Bai and Hua who were also sad.

"You must be strong, losing something valuable is natural and you must get used to that feeling. Moreover, later the path that you will take with me, there will be a lot of problems and bloodshed that occurs in the future," Jesslyn said again while looking at the sky as if missing someone.

"Yes, master, we understand," Bai and Hua said simultaneously making Jesslyn smile warmly at them.

"Alright, we've had a sad session, now come on! I, will take you guys for a walk in the town square!!" jesslyn said again with a cheerful nod by Bai and Hua.
