The Devil's Touch

The Devil's Touch
#02

Maximilian seemed to be busy with files piling up on his desk. A knock on the door distracted his attention.

"Get in." he said without taking his eyes off the files that were in his possession.

"Sir, the guy who followed you a few days ago has been sorted out" Dominic said. The man held out a blue map in front of Maximilian.

"Then? Who's the guy." Maximilian took off his glasses. Stare intently at Dominic who is speaking.

Dominic looked surprised, but quickly the man returned his usual look. He was quite astonished by his boss, and strangely the man's guess was always right.

"A woman, sir."

Maximilian raised his eyebrows. A lady? It seems like he has missed something interesting.

"Who is that woman?" Maximilian looked curious. The enemy this time is different, a woman. Isn't this interesting?

"You remember what happened a few weeks ago, sir?"

Maximilian nodded. His memory revolves around the events of last week. It seemed like he had forgotten about the woman, a woman who was about to kidnap him in a bar in New York. Luckily he was able to thwart the reckless action of a mad woman who was about to inject something in his body and with lightning fast the woman fled after failing in her action.

That night Maximilian's guard was not tightened as usual, and the occasion was well used by the man who was after his life.

"He wants your life, sir. Davis Meyer's daughter is a hitman assigned to kidnap you." Dominic explains. His face was still the same, flat and just plain looking.

"The man who wants to work together?" what kind of coincidence is this? All are connected to each other. A middle-aged man who suddenly wants to establish cooperation and his daughter wants his life.

Dominic nodded. Justifying his boss's words. David Meyer wanted to work with Jhonson Corp but Maximilian did not agree.

"Catch him Dom. I wanted it." something in Maximilian seemed turbulent, the ambition to kill him increased. Looks like he can make that woman for his guinea pig.

"I was watching him and it just so happened that he was in Rome, sir."

A beautiful woman stepped inside her house in annoyance.

Elena stopped her steps when she heard the voice of the father's cry.

"Don't interfere, Dad. Just take care of the woman***** that, no need to interfere in my business." said Elena cynically.

"So your mouth is, Elena! The woman you called****** was your mother." she cried out in anger. A slap that was hard enough he gave Elena.

Elena screeched. His cheeks were hot from the father's slap that was quite hard.

"Slap again, Dad! You're out of your mind." Elena's angry.

"Get me talking, Elena! You can't say that to your own father." his stepmother came down the stairs in a hurry. The woman directly walked out of the room when she heard the noise.

"You two are equally insane. The other is****** and the other is not self-aware."

"You!" the father was about to throw his slap, but his arm was held back by Elena.

"Only once, not a second time." Elena brushed off her father's arm.

"Go away from here Elena! Basic son does not know himself." cried his stepmother wrathfully.

Elena laughed cynically. Who did he dare to throw him out? The woman was just a stranger who happened to be taken in by her father a few years ago.

"Daddy didn't tell you? This house is mine, my mother gave it to me. If you don't believe you can ask him?" Elena pointed at her father. The sharp look he got from his father.

Marry looked at her husband. The face of the husband answered everything, he looked shocked.

"You surprised? Didn't he tell you all this time, the money you used was his, but the house you live in is mine, in my name." Elena smiled mockingly.

"Go back to your room right now!" Davis yells. His words this time could not be denied.

"Currently, there is no need to tell. I know what I have to do." Elena put her foot away. No one can drive himself out of the house, for the house is in his name, even the father.
