Take Fight
The journey that moved through the streets that morning seemed to surprise the figure of Melisa. His eyes turned towards the side where Rio sat driving the car. He was stunned because he looked towards the street where the direction they were heading in was not the direction of the company.
“Pak Rio, where are we going?” asked Melisa staring questioningly.
Rio did not answer at all. He continued to drive the car in a direction that felt foreign to him. Increasingly, the vehicle is getting up towards the mountain until finally the car arrived at the top of the mountain which shows the beautiful scenery of the entire city.
Shining eyes Melisa saw the scenery in front of her.
Rio descended upon seeing Melisa who was standing facing towards the cityscape.
“All the past can be a storm when we cannot sustain our own strength. The relationship is like sea water that is ready whenever the waves are brought. But, we have the choice to keep following the waves calmly and not against the current. Then everything will be fine. When our strength can fight then that's when we can defend everything.”
Rio sighed for a moment then he held onto Melisa's two hands. In her eyes in both of Melisa's beads.
“Mel, I seriously want to build a household with you.”.
Melisa even stared inside Rio's two eyes. He can't answer anything at the moment. There is a blessing that is blocking their relationship. And Melisa won't be able to get married against Rio's parents' wishes.
“Pak, please forget me. I want to be calm with my mom. Enough of everything I felt. Please understand me, sir. I would be very grateful if you would stay away from me.”
Melisa's words really broke Rio's heart. Clearly he saw that there was no hope Melisa gave him.
Melisa closed her eyes for a moment. The hug he felt right now was so comfortable that he found it hard to let go of the hug. Melisa permeated every warmth that Rio gave.
“If this hand could return your embrace, sir. I'd love to return your embrace. But I realize. I am nobody. I don't deserve you, Mr.” Melisa's tears fell incessantly to the point of seeping into Rio's clothes.
I don't know where the mask he used since. Rio no longer saw her. He does not care what is clear at this time he just wants to let go of such a great longing for the lover.
“I'll prove if we deserve to be together, Mel.” The words from Rio seemed to be so threatening to Melisa. I don't know what he wants to do.
Melisa shakes. “Pak, what do you want to do? Please understand my situation, Mr.” Melisa said again.
It's hard to talk to Melisa. Rio himself had lost his mind to think. Even today, he is confused about how to make their relationship okay? How can Melisa fight with him? Rio also chose to release a hug and kiss Melisa's forehead for a long time.
Both of them unconsciously closed their eyes.
“We will stay together. Give me a chance. I beg you, Mel. I already have great expectations of your year.” said Rio.
Melissa could not answer. Until finally they must immediately go to the office considering that work time will soon arrive. Rio is not the owner of the company, so he does not have the right to go in and out of the office.
The two also drove back to the company with Rio's left hand holding Melisa's hand. Although there was still no answer, Rio felt that Melisa was starting to melt down and was ready to fight for their relationship.
