The Emperor's Prisoner

The Emperor's Prisoner
Episode 75's

They continued down the stairs with a torch light illuminating. The more to the end of the air feels thin and stuffy. The stone stairs that were stepped on were getting more and more. Jing stared at Li Jihyun's back. The girl did not sound to complain in the least. Even the roar of his breath seemed normal.

Quite a surprise to Jing. How could the noble concubine look calm? This is enough to pass the stairs. What noble concubine does not feel tired? inner Jing who still carries water.

For Jing to go down the stairs this much was no problem. He had been trained for many years as the shadow of the emperor. So for him this is common.

He exhaled slowly. Recollecting again with the task Long Jian had given was watching Li Jihyun. But after seeing Li Jihyun's actions defending Lien from Lien's punishment and persuasion to follow Li Jihyun made her a dilemma. His mind is now confused. Moreover, they have not submitted any reports.

I do not know how many stairs they went down until they arrived at the end of the stairs. Li Jihyun raised the torch high in the hand. The torchlight swept through the small room in front of them. Seen in the corner of the room a woman tied to a rope in a sitting position on a chair. His hair was scattered messily covering the face plus the position of his head that was bowed. The hanfu worn was torn everywhere. Shows scars on the body as well as patches of dried blood.

Li Jihyun walked over to Hai Rong who was still unconscious. He pulled up the black hair until he saw his face. A face covered in whip scars last night. He smiled thinly.

"Siram him!" li Jihyun's orders were already away from Hai Rong. Jing nodded obediently and splashed the water in the bucket.

Byurs!

Hai Rong instantly woke up with a stupefied breath. Breathing's tight. The coldness of the water made his body shiver. Moreover, his clothes were torn. He opened his eyes and looked at Li Jihyun. "A-Thank you my majesty. Sa-I was wrong. Please forgive me" she began to cry. But Li Jihyun did not care.

Hai Rong's eyes were glassy. "I was wrong. I shouldn't have done that. I've mistaken her highness the great concubine," he added in a clear voice.

"Curtain! There is no point in apologizing to me," Li Jihyun said coldly. "I don't need your forgiveness." Li Jihyun's eyes stared intently at Hai Rong making him swallow his hard-earned saliva. Li Jihyun's eyes made her guts faintly.

"Your majesty my great concubine will do whatever you want to forgive me," Hai Rong said with glassy eyes. Wishing Li Jihyun's heart to melt. Her tears fell.

Li Jihyun turned her face the other way. He walked up to something on the table. The long, thick whip he took.

Hai Rong who was looking rounded his eyes. His lips were shaking with fear. "Yes-Yes, your Majesty forgive me. Forgive your majesty," she asked, beginning to cry, seeing Li Jihyun's footsteps getting closer. He's trying to fight all his energy. "PLEASE! HELP!" his screeches made Li Jihyun smile.

The girl stopped right in front of Hai Rong. The whip in his hand began to be shown right about Hai Rong. The screams sounded bitter. Hai Rong's skin was torn apart. The scar is back open.

Li Jihyun continued to swing her whip nonstop. The woman continued to scream until her voice was hoarse. The whip stopped floating looking at Hai Rong's body motionless. Blood fell to the floor. The smell of carnations.

"Jing bring water again" Li Jihyun said.

"Good noble," he answered obediently turning his back. Jing carried an empty bucket walking out of the room.

The woman did not move anymore despite the whip drifting repeatedly into her body. His tangled and dull hair was scattered in disarray. On his whole body was a blood patch.

The clattering sound of steps stopped Li Jihyun's whip. The girl's head was turned back. Jing came carrying a bucket full of water. Jing had no trouble carrying him. He was used to doing heavy training.

"Siram him again," said Li Jihyun who was embraced by Jing. The woman splashed water on Hai Rong's face. Once again the woman woke up with a sigh. Pain and pain mixed together. He grimaces in pain.

Li Jihyun pulled her hair until Hai Rong's head looked up. Their eyes looked at each other. Hai Rong looked at him pushyly. Fear enveloped his heart. He started crying. "Your majesty please let me go" he asked with sobs.

Li Jihyun pulled her hair harder making Hai Rong scream in pain. "Did a noble lady like you only know how to whine?" li Jihyun asked raising one eye eyebrow. His rombeng clothes made his entire body shiver with cold.

Li Jihyun's hand gripped her hair tightly until it made Hai Rong scream again. His voice slowly began to disappear. "Should show sincerity you apologize. Not an indistinct whining," added Li Jihyun releasing her rough grip.

He walked towards the table taking the dry cloth located there. Not forgetting before put back the whip. Wrapped his hands clean and then rolled until thick. He walked up to Hai Rong and stuffed his mouth with a cloth.

"Don't feed him first," said Li Jihyun who was obediently embraced by Jing.

"Okay, your honor."

Hai Rong tried to rebel with his strength. Li Jihyun turned around first followed Jing. Jing glimpsed at him before Hai Rong's whereabouts were engulfed in darkness. A faint sound of a stifled cry sounded. They continued to climb up the winding stairs leading upwards leaving Hai Rong alone in the cellar.

"Is minister Gong Jihon not there yet?" li Jihyun asked Jing. The girl let out a rough breath. Now they're in the palace. After getting out of the cellar did not forget to lock the door tightly.

"I think Mr. Gong will be arriving soon, Your Majesty," comforted Jing who was taken a glance at Li Jihyun. His mind wandered far away.

Is Uncle Gong going to help me? I shouldn't have gotten too carried away by yesterday's emotions. Though I still need it, Li Jihyun's inner voice all the way through the passageway.

On the seemingly calm road it involuntarily crossed paths with Long Jian. Li Jihyun who was in the middle of there was a problem of turning lazy eyeballs. He put on a hard-to-pronounce expression. "Hail the emperor's majesty," said Li Jihyun stopping her steps as they faced off.

Long Jian stopped staring at Li Jihyun. "Where are you from the great concubine?" long Jian asked looking towards Li Jihyun just now.

"I've been looking for some glorious fresh air" boasted Li Jihyun. Long Jian's eyes glanced at Jing. For a long time the eyes he sent did not send a report.

Jing nodded his head justifying Li Jihyun's words. The man's eyes looked back at Li Jihyun.
