Towards the Silent Village

Ming Shu, Jia Li and the other eight senior students of the academy were currently traveling towards the hill below the eastern mountain where Ming Shu spent two years in prison for training.

After arriving at the hill, now they began to enter the forest where previously Ming Shu saw a herd of wolves fighting over the corpse of a girl.

Because they reached their destination at noon, so they did not meet the wolf pack, but they could see some accessories and pieces of cloth that had almost faded in color.

Jia Li ordered the senior students to gather all the accessories as evidence or for clues.

As the senior students were busy collecting the items found, Ming Shu heard the voice of someone asking for help even with a voice that could barely be heard.

Had Ming Shu's strength not reached the intermediate level, it was certain that Ming Shu would not have been able to hear the voice as much as the other seniors, as they had only reached the low level.

The strength of the fighters in the eastern plains has 9 levels that are divided into three levels, namely.

Levels one, two and three. Being at a low level.

Four, five and six. Being at the middle level.

Seven, eight and nine. Being on a high level.

But only the previous elders were able to reach the high level with nine levels.

Even those capable of reaching the current high level were only the city lord of Tian Ma and also his younger brother Tian Bao, and even the city lord of Tian Ma could only reach seven stages, while Tian Bao reached eight stages.

And as for chief Guan Lao and elder Ming Hao they were both at the intermediate level equally at six tiers, while elder Nuwa was at the intermediate level at five tiers.

And now came the three geniuses of the sword and magic academy namely, Tian Zhi, Ming Shu and also Guan lin.

The three of them were able to reach the middle level at four levels, when the other seniors were only able to reach the low level at several levels.

Jing Mi and Jia Li were already outstanding for being able to reach the low level in three tiers, when the other friends only reached one and two tiers.

Ming Shu walked towards the source of the voice. Jia Li who was aware of Ming Shu's departure also stepped foot following where Ming Shu's steps went.

Ming Shu continued to move his legs which were also followed by Jia Li, not long after Ming Shu saw a girl walking with a staggering step.

Ming Shu immediately ran over and approached the girl, Jia Li also came running along with Ming Shu.

"To.long sa.ya. a-anak sa.ya a.ya a.kan me.ma.kan sa.ya!" said the girl in a weak voice while exposing the organs that had been bleeding from the bite of her child.

"Where is your child now?" ask Ming Shu.

"De.sa su.nyi!" said the girl while pointing towards the silent village.

"why can a child eat his own mother.!" jia Li felt angry.

"A..nak.ku ba..ru la.hir," said the girl and then the girl fainted.

Jia Li examined the condition of the girl carefully.

"It seems, this girl has indeed just undergone the process of giving birth," Jia Li explained to Ming Shu.

Ming Shu again saw the bite wound on the girl's hand which turned out that her flesh had lost a few bites and now the bite marks were continuously bleeding.

"Young master Ming is right, but we'd better have some senior students return to the academy to escort this girl, and ask them to follow us to the desolate village by bringing in additional senior students!" reply Jia Lin.

"Alright, I agree," Ming Shu said.

Jia Li first stopped the bleeding of the girl with his spiritual energy, then brought the fainted girl to the place where the senior students who had now finished collecting the items according to Jia Li's orders.

The senior students were very surprised when they saw a girl faint with blood all over her body.

"We split the group in two, half of you go back to the academy and bring this girl to be treated immediately, also you bring the items you have collected and leave them to the chairman!" jia Li said firmly.

"Good senior Jia Li," they replied in unison.

"And the other half of you come with me to accompany young master Ming to the desolate village!" jia Li continued to give directions to his friends.

"Good senior Jia Li," back they replied in unison.

The senior students had now split into two, Jia Li advised his friends who would return to the academy to look after the girl who was now still unconscious, and always cautious on the way.

Jia Li was worried that his friends would meet the wolves.

Some of the senior students had now started to travel back to the sword and magic academy.

While Ming Shu, Jia Li and a few other senior students continued on their way towards the desolate village.

It was getting dark Ming Shu decided to speed up the journey and look for lodging in the desolate village.

The forest that passed was quite spacious, but there was no sign of the presence of ferocious beasts in this forest, this was indeed a bit strange.

The forest was so quiet and far from the home of the residents there were no inhabitants of the wild beasts, only the wolves from the North mountain dared to enter this forest, even at the end of it, only at the end of it, not into the deepest part of the forest.

Yet it all made the journey of Ming Shu and the others go smoothly without experiencing the slightest problem.

Until the sky was completely dark, only then did Ming Shu and the others come out of the forest and begin to enter the desolate village gate.

"Identity!" said one of the village gatekeepers.

After the guard saw the badge that Ming Shu showed, the guard let Ming Shu and his friends in.

"It is better now that we look for lodging first," Ming Shu said.

They also walked down the road that seemed to be starting to quiet, it seemed like the silent villagers had rested in their respective residences.

The one thing that Ming Shu, Jia Li and the other seniors felt as soon as they entered the desolate village, was that this village was completely desolate as the name suggested. Even Ming Shu felt an unusual aura in this desolate village, the aura in the desolate village was extremely gripping.
