Luna frowned while working on the financial statements on the computer. He should focus when both eyes are tired. Because his eyes were often blurred at that time. He had minus eyes but refused to wear glasses.
The wireless phone in the room rang. He leaned forward, then grabbed the wireless handle without seeing who was calling.
"Hello. Financial office,” greet Luna a little relaxed.
"Come to my room, Luna." A shocking baritone voice. Especially when he tries to see the contact number listed on the screen. That's Ian's room number
"Good, sir,” says Luna soon.
The woman immediately pulled out a menu of financial statements on the screen and rushed towards the exit. He doesn't want to linger. But he remembered again that he needed to bring a cell phone. His steps stopped right in front of the door.
“Oh, no,” he lamented. Then Luna turned her body to return to the table to pick up the flat device.
"Hey, where's Lun going?!" asked Karin who appeared in the hallway.
"To Mr. Ian's room." Luna answered as she continued walking. His voice sounded far away at the end of the sentence.
His chest slightly thumped in fear that there was nothing else. Although the matter of him making Mr. Ian's forehead red has vanished because of his son's case, Luna still feels anxious now.
Geck! Geck!
After being convinced that Mr. Ian had told her to come in, Luna opened the door.
"I'm coming, sir." Luna's head was down.
"Yes. You alone?" ian asked as he looked towards the door that Luna had closed.
This woman opened her eyes. "Yes. Do I have to call someone?" Luna's steps came to a halt because of that question.
"No. Sit first. We'll talk soon." Mr. Ian looked up for a moment, then looked down again. Looking at his computer. After waiting for a few seconds, Ian got out of his chair and approached Luna who was sitting on the sofa.
Seeing the proposal of the company's anniversary event in the hands of Mr. Ian, Luna was relieved to finally know that she would discuss it. Not talking about anything else.
"I've read some of the points you marked about the proposal. He also gave evidence for it. So let the event committee adjust" Ian said, handing the proposal to Luna.
"So they made another proposal, sir?"
"Yes. With the references I've written."
"Good Sir. I'll tell you." Luna thought the conversation would be over, but it turned out that Mr. Ian would still be talking about something again.
"Then about my son's case ..."
"Yes. What's up, sir?" asked Luna while opening her eyes. His chest was pounding again.
"How are the two of you doing with your neighbors and people around? Do they still think you two are kidnappers?" asked Ian, showing some worry.
"Oh, that, sir. I don't know for sure, but maybe not. Because they are just normal to us after you have a meeting to clarify the truth of the misunderstanding" explained Luna.
"Thank God. The misunderstanding did not continue for long. I'd feel so guilty if it happened.”
Luna's head nodded hearing Mr. Ian speak.
"What about Elio, sir?" luna asked so she remembered the boy again.
"Well," said Ian flatly. Luna was bearded again. "Do you know what exactly was the reason Elio ran away from home?" ian asked with shady but serious eyes. It's unsurprising.
"Reason? Didn't Elio say anything to you, sir?" luna asked back. He was sure the boy had clearly said the reason he had run away to her, but why did his parents still not understand?
"No."
Then how would he be taken home if he did not say anything to Mr Ian? inner Luna wonder.
Looking at Luna, Iian felt that this woman knew something. Seeing Elio who was rarely close to many people, there must be something that brought the boy close.
"Tell me what you know" said Mr. Ian. Now he waited for Luna to speak by folding her hands. Seeing that Luna was not calm. It's like an order.
"less comfortable? Is that something you don't deserve to talk about?" and Ian wanted to know.
"Emm ... Why don't you ask Elio yourself why he ran away? I think it's better. So there's nothing sensitive anymore because it's between the father and the son." Luna felt she had no right to discuss about the boy and the reason for his escape. Even though he knows.
After all, it's better for Elio and Ian to talk alone than to choose to use a third party to ask why the boy had run away.
I wonder, why would Elio want to go home if he didn't make a deal that scared him like that?
"You gave me an order when I asked you a question?"
Luna was surprised to hear that sharp question. But seeing the look on Mr. Ian's face, Luna knew this man was not pressing her.
"I'm sorry, Sir. But it's a family affair. While I'm an outsider who just found out about Elio, it's your son."
"Oh, didn't you know I had a child?" ask Ian. Luna nodded.
"Yes. Even I think you're single." Luna seemed to have the wind to say what had been in her brain all along. But then Luna surprised herself with her mouth talking about all that smoothly. "Sorry, sir."
This man smiled thinly.
"It's okay. I'm surprised you think I'm still single." Ian started to be a little more open than usual. Knowing and helping Elio had a huge impact on the relationship between him and his boss.
I remember when this guy was cold to her.
"Can you tell Elio to talk to me about the escape?" Ian Pinta. Luna blinked her eyes. That's a strange request.
"Oh, sorry sir. It's getting weird I think. Because Elio would have wanted you to ask him yourself. I am only as a helper at a glance, not the intermediary of the Father and the son of the Father," declined Luna makes sense.
"You're refusing?"
"If it's a job, I'll do it. But it's a family matter. I don't dare" Luna said honestly.
...***...
Luna went back to her room. After that Karin came in.
“You've already discussed my proposal, haven't you?” ask Karin happy. Seeing what Luna brought, Karin knew that it was her proposal.
“Yes. Make the proposal again by removing and adding in accordance with the notes that have been made by Mr. Ian,” said Luna who has not sat in her chair.
“Oh, I have to revise?” Disappointed karin.
“If you want to get away with it, but after the second proposal submission, I'm sure it will be in ACC,” said Luna finally sat down as well. “What do you think it would be strange if I had to tell Mr Ian that his son ran away because he was depressed living in his own house?”
Karin frowned hearing Luna's question.
“You're discussing his son?” ask Karin wonder. Luna's head nodded. “Any.”
“True. It's weird, though, that I should talk to Mr. Ian.” Luna was glad Karin agreed with her.
“Not you are weird, but Mr. Ian.”
“Eh, why Mr Ian?” Luna was wrong. Karin doesn't agree with him.
“That's his son, why discuss with you?” karin makes sense. “You are not the nanny, but the one who accidentally became the boy's escape.”
“That's true too, but probably because the boy used to live in my house.”
“Or because you do know something that makes the boy want to run away," continued Karin.
"Emmm ... Elio did tell me why he ran away, ", said Luna.
