Chapter 10 - The Mysterious Labyrinth

In a place that is out of nowhere, the three of us are trapped by a mysterious man while trying to find Nora who has been missing for one day. We tried to think calmly, but there was nothing to do.

A very large mansion with several branches and rooms on each corner and side. Zahra who was originally very calm was now in fear and even held my hand tightly.

I always thought why was he scared? While the physical strength of the material is arguably stronger when compared to people in general. Whatever it is, we have to find a way out before things go bad.

"It looks like the magic circle just now it's the gate to this place." Hartmut looked around.

"It seems so," I replied. "What should we do?"

"I don't know either. It would be better if we looked for his year while surrounding this entire labyrinth."

In addition, the further we explore this labyrinth, the darker the room will be. At first Zahra and I were scared, but it was lucky that Hartmut helped us to kill him.

Hartmut forbade us to open anything that was shaped like a box or suitcase, it could have been a trap that could have eaten a human. It was so horrible that we both gave up on our goals.

With only a torch, we saw the existence of a mysterious creature sitting in the middle of the hall. Our view was limited at that time, and we finally approached the figure and found a green-skinned dwarf who was eating the carcass of another creature.

Hartmut pulled out his sword and slashed his neck until blood came out of his body and fell.

"It seems like not only the three of us are here, but they are as well. Aoa you've killed monsters before?" Hartmut looked at us.

" I'm sorry, we've never."

Hartmut sighed in disappointment. What are our knives for? Why are we wearing hunting gear? That's what I think because it feels weird that everything I have isn't used in the right way.

All right, I'm gonna take the knife out of my sheath and try to look at it and see my reflection on it.

"Are you sure you want to kill?" Zahra who had been hiding behind me started talking.

"of course. Otherwise, how can we get out of here!" With my flat face.

I was a little surprised by him, between the darkness or the monsters, which one scared him like this? Forget about it, I should try to be as firm as possible.

It was time for me to show myself. Inevitably, I should have some killing experience in the near future. It is true that I was afraid of killing them because they were similar to us humans, but still they were monsters that had to be exterminated.

In the end, we found another monster wandering around and told us to kill it, but I was afraid. Hartmut could only shake his head and stab his arm and told Zahra to stab him in the neck.

But because no one dared to, he forced to kill him himself and said, "Gini, yes. If you want to survive out there, you have to be prepared for a situation like this."

We were a little confused whether to regret it or not, because if we learn to kill them, what's the point? It's because we're home kids so I don't think for now it's necessary.

We continued our journey with an awkward atmosphere. We found a room that was a little interesting, which was a magic research place with rows of shelves with books that were a little messy.

"Interesting," Hartmut picked up one of the books on the shelf.

"But why are there so many storybooks in places like this?" zahra.

"I don't know either, but maybe we'll find a clue from here."

It's true, but maybe we'll read it all considering there are thousands of books stored during the trip. While searching for a book, Zahra was surprised by the existence of a flower symbol similar to the design of my bracelet on the back of the book he found.

I turned the page and read the whole story. A young man who was about to sail with 8 other friends to explore the world in search of a treasure. It's just a classic pirate story.

They were amateur sailors who did not know about ships and oceans. Confidently, they sailed out of nowhere until something happened to him and were stranded on a vast and uninhabited island.

"And the name of the island is..."

When you want to continue the story, the conversation is cut off due to a vibration that occurs in here. It made everything fall and we couldn't balance ourselves.

"I found you~"

The old man appeared too quickly with a terrifying shadow behind him. With his presence it was enough to make us very frightened when we glanced at him, even Zahra's body trembled while holding my hand.

"I've finally found you... FOUND YOU!!" His screams ruined my eardrum.

I don't know what to do because it's too sudden. He attacked me very quickly and I closed my eyes in fear until Hartmut tried to protect us.

But a miracle appeared. An invisible shield appears to protect us.

"Hello y'all!"

From behind the man, Nora appears who immediately strangled him with his arms until he was unable to move.

"Dora!"

We were so happy when we saw it was okay. At first we were afraid that He might experience something terrible, and it turned out that He was also drawn to this labyrinth and was fine. I am grateful to be able to see her again after one day of her disappearance.

"Damn it, why are you here!"

"Your own fault enter me here, hehehe~"

"The three of you are fine, right?"

"Well, we're fine" Hartmut said.
