"Of course!"
The white masked man struck his chest which was completely unharmed. There was a thick metal that he purposely used to protect it.
"I think I should go back" he said later. The current situation did not allow him to continue his actions.
"Have you stepped up, how could you go?"
Zayyad took a step forward to hold back.
The masked man was no longer a waste of time. Taking something out of his pocket, biting it with a tearing motion, he threw it on the floor.
Booms!
White smoke came out of it. Zayyad pinched his nose preventing smelling oxygen around the faded polluted.
That instant the masked man took the chance to escape. He ran to the balcony and jumped.
Alina did not know what smoke she was breathing. Suddenly his head felt heavy. Inevitably he felt dizzy and fell to the floor.
The white smoke slowly disappeared. Zayyad stopped pinching his nose. Seeing that the stranger had already escaped, he annoyedly kicked the small cupboard beside him. The antiques inside shook and some fell.
"Damn!"
Picking up his phone he immediately contacted Bakri.
In a different place, Bakri fell asleep on his bed. Hearing his phone ring, his forehead creased.
'Who contacted me so late?'
Bakri grabbed his phone and refused the call. His eyes did not see who it was that was calling him.
A few seconds later, his phone rang again. Bakri annoyedly shut her down again.
Until it rings the third time. Bakri sat down and raised the call in anger.
"Who's disturbing my sleep huh? I have to work tomorrow"
"It's three o'clock in the morning, work early for today"
"P-pak" Bakri lost his word. He never thought it would be his boss.
"Come to my villa now" It was a tone that pressed 'soon' and implied 'something bad happened'.
"Good sir!" Soon Bakri's sleepiness disappeared.
"I'll hurry there"
Call ended. Bakri clamped his eyebrows and thought, Did his boss just get attacked? In panic he got off the bed. Still in his pajamas, Bakri takes the keys and he is ready to go to his boss' villa.
Zayyad saw Alina who had fainted, but he could not lift his wife's body. With her hair that was long like that, it was so hard to imagine her in the form of a man.
Suppresses his fear and nausea. His hands went down to grab that tiny, very soft waist and lift it up.
His two trembling hands, slowly laid the woman on the bed. He also sighed in relief while rubbing his temple which had appeared cold sweat points.
He sits on the bed. Taking a place a little away from the woman lay down.
His gaze fell on the slightly pitiful Alina. There was a cut on his delicate neck. The rest of the blood on the corner of his lips was brownish red.
Pulling his gaze elsewhere, he met his right palm. It was full of blood and wounds.
Not knowing why, the sour and bitter taste appeared. Burned his eyes to the heat and tied his chest until it felt tight.
Unknowingly both of his hands were clenched. He did not understand what emotions were inside him. But to be sure, he was not at all happy when he saw the woman who had just so excitedly teased him.
Now it was lying unconscious with wounds like these.
"They're moving again"
Heard a voice emerging from the doorway of his open room. Without even having to look, he knew who it was.
"Is your wife okay?" He asked in panic.
"I can't call the doctor right now, it's too early"
At three in the morning everyone was still asleep. And he had just been forced to call Bakri to come.
"But your wife is already like this you can't delay" Irsyad sometimes gets annoyed with her grandson's delicate side.
"They're humans who are resting, not robots that work 24 hours. At 7am I'll call the doctor"
Irsyad who heard that didn't know what else to say. The character of his grandson is indeed very much different from him who is hard, authoritarian and only attach importance to personal satisfaction.
Zayyad has always been a quiet man, like the dew that falls in the morning blind. It was a bit bone-chilling cold, but it brought a different coolness if it touched it.
She has a warm side like a new dawn, but rarely raises her. His heart was as smooth as silk, but it was a little hard to feel it. Because it's too far away, like the moon in the night sky. It is difficult to reach her by hand and too far away to see her actual surface.
"What about grandma?"
"You mean Erina?"
Irsyad is very happy to know that Zayyad has been calling Alina's grandmother as her grandmother as well.
"Is he okay?"
Zayyad did not comment on his grandfather's question.
"He's fine"
Zayyad was silent for a moment. Looking at Alina at a glance and staring at the ceiling of the room. His mind glared far away until his phone rang.
"Have you arrived?"
"Just go in"
"I'm waiting on the second floor"
Zayyad wakes up holding his phone in his hand. He walked towards his grandfather who was still watching the unconscious Alina.
"It looks like they won't be safe if they stay with me" Zayyad said seriously. His expression was calm as usual but his brown eyes looked restless and guilty.
"It would be nice if I prepared another residence for them"
"You think too far" said Irsyad.
Zayyad was silent and his eyes kept staring at the old eyes before him.
"They are looking for you. They'll never be Alina and her grandmother as tools to threaten you, because..." Irsyad took a breath and held it heavy.
His hands held both of his grandson's shoulders and his old eyes stared guiltily. "All they need is your death"
Zayyad was silent. There was no change in his face. He knew from the beginning that what they were targeting was his death. But still, it affects the people around him. As of today, Alina was injured from being around her.
Irsyad, who seemed to be able to guess what her grandson was thinking, continued to say. "What happened on this day was an accident, still their true purpose is you. Otherwise Alina's grandmother and I are also hurt, right?"
Zayyad just nodded. It would be nice if it was as it used to be. He doesn't have to worry about anyone and he worries about himself.
"You've really noticed them, have you been able to accept them?" Irsyad would never have expected his granddaughter to receive an arranged marriage and get married just to sweep away the rumors but can be so considerate of the bride and her grandmother.
"Grandpa you really know what I look like!"
Irsyad frowned.
"If I've made up my mind, then not only will I rely on logic" Zayyad pointed his head out. "But also this" Then he pressed his chest.
"I married Alina to sweep up the rumors that was part of my thinking to solve the problem. But to my heart that also wants a happy little family"
Irsyad smiled broadly. His old eyes glowed full of haru flavor. He knew for a long time that his granddaughter wanted a life with a simple and happy little family.
