Chapter 15: yin and arlott's past
In Clover Country, precisely in Everthorn Village, there is a village dubbed Green Village because it is surrounded by mountains, forests, and lush grasslands. Farmers and ranchers inhabit the village, creating a peaceful atmosphere away from the chaos of the outside world. In this village, the yin and Arlott lived at one time.
Yin and Arlott are twin brothers, but they have different traits. Yin was full of vigor and cheer, while Arlott was more cold and reserved. Despite this, Arlott cares deeply for his sister, and their relationship is very close. They often adventure together, as when they reach a hill that gives a beautiful view of the village below. A cool breeze hit their faces as they sat there.
Yin asked Arlott, "Sister, when we grow up, what do you want to do?" Arlott who always spoke sincerely replied, "I just want to enjoy this free world, without any demonic presence or threat whatsoever." The ever aspiring Yin replied, "I will become a knight and seek Nirvana. I want to be the king of the magic knights in Clover!"
Arlott gives his sister wholehearted support for her dreams, and their closeness grows stronger.
When they reached the age of 11, the yin continued to train with julian, strengthening his abilities as a knight candidate. On the other hand, Arlott remained alone, training in remote forests. One day, a witch appeared and approached him with an offer.
The witch asked, "What are you doing?" Arlott replied, "I'm training to become stronger." The witch drew closer and said, "Your training like this won't make you strong. Join me, and you will attain unimaginable power. In fact, you can find the world you want!"
Arlott began to believe the witch's words and asked, "How can I find the world I want?" The magician smiled cunningly and replied, "There are two options: first, you slaughter humans, or second, you kill the knights. Pick one, and I'll give you some very powerful magic."
Arlott is caught up in a difficult moral question. After an incident with a witch that affected Arlott, Xavier of the Snake Snake Snake Snake Guild came in time to stop him. He gives advice to Arlott, trying to understand that the desired world should not be achieved in a dark way.
However, Arlott was affected by the magic given by the witch earlier. The next day, the witch came again, making the same offer, and this time, Arlott accepted the offer. He was given enormous magic power, yet it almost destroyed his body. His grandfather takes him to the village doctor, and for several years, Arlott has to fight against the illness caused by the magic.
Yin eventually managed to defeat Arlott, but the fierce fight left their village devastated. Arlott said to Yin, "If you become a knight, maybe we will become enemies." After that, Arlott went through the magic portal he created.
Yin, who fainted after the fight, was well taken care of and recovered a few days later, but this fight left a deep emotional wound in her heart.
A few days after the fierce fight in Everthorn Village, the Snake Snake Snake Snake Guild came back to help the villagers rebuild their place. Although they carried the scars from the battle, their zeal to help remained strong.
Julian approached Yin with a powerful message, "Yin, be the strongest. Your brother's creating chaos in your village, and one day you'll face it." Yin could only nod, pondering over those words.
After that, the Snake Snake Snake Snakey Guild left the village and never returned. Even their existence was considered lost after the fight in the God Mount. Yin, after time passed, tried to forget everything that happened and focus on training to become stronger.
Yin managed to gather strong members into her team, including Zangrid, Smoke, Aria, Vanessa, Riley, and Aurora. In addition, he had also formed an alliance with the Division 1 Blue Pegasus Guild led by Seraphin Heartwind.
