The Ghost Writers
Press Conferences

The next day, Robby went to see the doctor for a pregnancy check. After that, we continued for the press conference that had been scheduled. Luckily the doctor on duty that day was a woman and the queue was not long because now it can make reservations through online. I got third, and when it came was second.

I started weighing, checking my height, blood pressure, and breathing to make sure I was okay. I also got a book that later became a history during the pregnancy of the second child. I hope, when I give birth later my baby is healthy, we both survived and were born normal. Amens.

Honestly, I never asked for a cesarean birth because according to the confessions of Robby's friends when they visited to see the Rainbow was born first, they complained with caesarean wounds that felt pain when coughing, moving, and crying, and other things. The pain was interfering with the activity and I didn't want it to happen.

"Patient Alia Pitaloka," called one of the nurses standing at my destination obstetrician's door.

Robby and I stood up. We were greeted with a friendly greeting by a female doctor who wore a veil, wore glasses, and wore a mask of mouth coverings.

"Hello, whoa is young. First or second child?" ask him who I see as 50 years old, but still look fit.

"Second child, Doc," replied Robby spryly.

"Newly check up per day or have done it in the previous weeks?" ask the doctor again and write something in my book.

"New test pack yesterday and positive," I replied honestly.

And as usual, the doctor I saw was relaxed asking me a lot of things like .. when was the last menstrual period, what complaints I felt, first child gave birth to a normal or caesarean, and other common things.

"Yuk at USG for further checks," he asked as he stood up.

I nodded and immediately lay down on a special mattress. Robby was standing next to me by the USG when the nurse who helped the doctor smeared my stomach with gel. I who have not been in contact with the tool for a long time amused a little.

"Oh, yes," said the doctor suddenly who made me immediately widen my eyes when I saw a small circle in my womb. Robby's cry and his smile grew. "This .. yes, as expected, it's been five weeks."

"Five weeks?" I said that I didn't realize it was that long.

"Well, a month, Doc?" ask Robby to look happy.

"Yes, more or less so. Alia's mom works?" asked the doctor as he finished the ultrasound in my stomach after doing many things I did not understand, but like marking the size of the monitor screen because I saw lines.

"My wife is a novelist, Doc," replied Robby, who was like my assistant.

"Alia? Alia Pitaloka?" ask the nurse when I'm going to clean the gel in my stomach.

"Know, Sus?" robby asked, and the nurse nodded.

"Yesterday my sister came to a fan meeting with Friend Pena. Name's Lina. He was very happy he said he was chosen from so many readers to participate in the event. Well, I can't believe it" said the nurse happily.

"Please ask for a photo of Mbak Alia here. Later show off to your sister to irrigate," said the doctor who made me even chuckle amusedly.

"Can, Ma'am?" ask the nurse.

"Yes, I may" I replied as I sat down slowly and lowered my clothes.

"Here, I'll take a photo of you, Sus," Robby said, reaching out to ask for the nurse's phone.

Quickly, the woman in uniform stood next to me with a smile. I did the same thing, even my obstetrician went along. We do the same style by showing the thumb towards the camera.

"okay! Well, pretty-beautiful all, but I choose the middle one," said Robby began to fight, and the two women flanking me chuckled softly.

"It's a vitamin recipe. There are nausea drugs, but enough to drink if you can not stand it. If you do not want to take this medicine can be by drinking warm ginger. Then you should check the blood to know the health of Mbak Alia thoroughly. I will give you a letter of introduction to the laboratory" the doctor explained.

"Dok, all of you. Can you, can't you?" pinta Robby, and the doctor nodded.

Yeah, I admit Robby's pretty sensitive to health. When we were getting married, he asked me to get a blood check to see if I had HIV, and other terrible diseases. Honestly, I'm actually a little offended as if she couldn't believe I was a virgin. However, after I heard Agatha's advice if it was necessary to anticipate, I did what Robby asked her to do with me. Apparently, we were both negative. I also became relieved after knowing that my future husband was physically and spiritually healthy. The sign is, he does not like 'jokan' and is still a virgin. Hehe.

Finished from the examination room, I was asked to go to the pharmacy section to submit a prescription. I was asked to wait by Robby when he made the payment at the cashier. Looks like the nurse who was helping the doctor told the other nurse who I was. They whispered about me, but no one came near to ask for a photo together. Maybe, because they are working and a lot of people are there so stay professional. Before long, Robby came and took me to the pharmacy to get some medicine. The officer informed me the usefulness of the vitamins according to the doctor's prescription and how to consume them which turned out to be enough once a day after eating.

"Thank you, Sus," said Robby, and asked me out of the room.

We took the elevator to the lab to check the blood. Robby shows a gynecologist about what should be checked at the time of blood collection later. I was waiting in that room when Robby made the payment for our blood check. Honestly, I don't like needles. Robby looked relaxed as his burly arm was pierced by the pointy needle and his blood was drawn. I was already sweating coldly when my turn had not yet arrived.

"Hehe, there's a sprout," the lead that makes me hiss bad.

"Mother Alia, please," called the officer who instantly made me limp for a moment.

Robby chuckled at me complaining repeatedly as the officer patted my arm to look for a vessel because he said, mine is thin and it would be hard to draw blood.

"Ouch, Sus. Please don't hurt. Once a stab just take it, do not let the blood can not be taken," I said full of plea like would cry.

Maybe the nurse was pressured by my request. He is seen trying to find a place that is believed to be sucked blood. However, either right hand or left hand, it seems that the nurse has not found it so it makes me panic even more.

"Stop the same thin needles" said another officer who seemed to know if his friend was in trouble.

Robby came closer and rubbed my head. He's still chuckling maybe for him it's funny to see me panic on my own.

"Select injection or I bite?" tanyanya while looking at me with full intent.

I'm the one who's pissed off patting her on the arm I don't know how many times I've done since I married her. Robby chuckled and got back on his feet when the officer was ready to take my blood with a syringe he said had replaced a thinner one.

"OKAY. Take a deep breath and then clench your hands. When later I say relax, open your fist slowly yes," said the officer. I can only nod with my face turned.

"Robby!" I cried out in panic and my husband rushed over. He still showed his neat white teeth while crouching in front of me.

"okay, Mum. Let go slowly, open his fist, " said the officer who made me glance, but turned back when I saw him take my blood.

A feeling of relief instantly enveloped the heart where I felt no pain when the pointy needle pierced my skin.

"Okay, once again yes," he said which made me glare immediately. "Yes, once again. Her blood mother is thick. Rarely drink?" ask the officer and I nod in confirming.

"Well, look" said Robby, who made me grimace. "So it doesn't cry means it doesn't hurt. That's the nurse was very careful about taking your blood," said Robby, who made me sweat cold again and hoped the second stab wouldn't make me faint.

"Aghhh!" my moaning because this time the prick was quite felt, but Robby laughed instead.

"Your, very ugly vows. Hahaha, usually ugly people fit to sleep. Apparently, except for you. Abis this do not inject anymore, afraid I see it," said Robby meredek.

I want to kick him when I'm panicking to death because of that fucking needle. Apparently, the nurse who took my blood also laughed because when I put in the shot filled with my blood, I heard her laughing softly.

"The result is taken tomorrow morning. Today is full. Sorry before" said another officer.

"Can you be contacted by phone, message or email when the results are taken? We're afraid we'll be here, the results haven't come" asked Robby.

"Yes, sir can. Please leave a phone number. Usually, after the lab results come out, you will be asked to see the obstetrician again," said the nurse and I nodded in understanding.

Robby left his phone number before we left. Robby was asked to pay off the payment when he was going to get the blood test tomorrow. The car immediately drove to the press conference venue at a 3-star hotel in Jakarta. I saw the reporters gathered outside the ballroom and it made me panic a little bit. Fortunately, I was secured by the management so that I was not attacked by the media before the event began.

"It's been learned, right?" ask Ms. Farida as my manager. I nodded slowly as I made sure to look beautiful and primed during the event.

"Kok lemes and the shoots. You sick?" asked Mas Aris, but I shook my head.

"Alia is 5 weeks pregnant. Please pray yes" replied Robby representing.

"Well, that's real? Well, congratulations yes. Tokcer really," said Farida who made me frown because it sounded ridiculous. Robby looks proud to raise two eyebrows.

Finally, the event that made me uneasy began. This time, it was not Shanty who would accompany me, but rather from the management. Robby also sat on behalf of the police considering that yesterday's case involved civilian riders and police. Agatha participated, but the Empress did not attend due to illness when in fact I knew that the wife of the deceased Roman Aksara had left Indonesia to welcome a new life.

"Good day everyone, and thank you for your presence. We as the management who supervised one of the authors want to clarify the case involving Alia Pitaloka and also Agatha Fanny and Empress Ningrat. It's just that, Madam Empress could not attend and could not be represented from the family considering she still felt shaken by it. So, immediately we start the event today," said Mas Aris.

All journalists, both online, print, radio, and television, are ready to cover the press conferences. Sure enough, their critical questions were raised one by one. Luckily I learned the scenario Farida gave me by email. I answered all those questions calmly though it continued on and on and on. However, whether I, Agatha, Robby, or the management, managed to answer nicely so as not to arouse suspicion.

"So, the police haven't arrested the mastermind of the attackers that were sent, Mr Robby?" asked one of the reporters looking serious with his recording device.

"We managed to identify the vehicle used by the attackers from CCTV on the highway as they started chasing Agatha Fanny's car. The team has come to the location according to the data from the license plates of the motors. We're waiting for the next news, because the last information I heard, the team's already managed to catch two people and is hunting the others," robby replied which made the nodding people look amazed at the quick performance of the police.

Journalists are increasingly enthusiastic about asking questions covering many things for their media coverage. The show lasted for nearly two hours, but ended satisfactorily. The reporters seemed to be able to receive all the answers from us because there were no more questions thrown even a fierce debate during the press conference.

"We hope that the answers and evidence that have been included can help the media to inform the public. We entrust this case to the police to be resolved immediately, so that the Friends of Pena and the families of the victims can rest in peace," said Mas Aris representing the management. Robby nodded steadily as he showed a ready thumbs up sign. "That's all from us, and thank you for all the friends. Good day and good luck on your return home."

The event was closed with applause and photos together. In fact, there were some reporters who asked for my autograph. Quietly, some of them are one of the readers even though they are not included in the Friend Pena fan group. Honestly, I'm overwhelmed. The reporters remain professional even if the person being highlighted is his idol, but they work on demand and can put personal matters aside.

"Bumil rest. I'm calm, but don't forget .. new novel I wait for the update yes ...," said Farida with a smile full of intent.

I could only smile forcefully with a nod. Robby took me home after we had lunch with the management. Agatha who got a new car proudly showed off a photo of her vehicle despite still being taken care of by the licensing letter because she just bought it some time ago.

"You don't want to?" robby asked, and Agatha greeted him with a big smile.

Finally, the three of us went back to my house first. Agatha admitted that she was lonely at home so she wanted to stop by my place and just returned home later that night. Robby and I don't mind even being happy about being visited.

However, as Robby's car entered the courtyard, I saw a familiar figure in a luxury sedan with open window glass. There were some men in black clothes in neat suits like bodyguards watching my house. Practically, my eyes widened. Robby and Agatha looked at me intently where we thought she was Mr. Ningrat.
