The Girl Who Is Said to Have No Talent, Turns Out to be a Talented Monster
Episode 16's

On my first day as a rank 5 adventurer, I decided to hunt in the Peat Grassland.

The plains in the north of the city were almost free from obstacles that might obstruct people's view. Trees and small hills are scattered, with green scenery and quiet surroundings will be visible until the eyes see.

Litty breathed in some fresh air. It was a place filled with natural air, but polluted by demons.

After a short break, Litty began to explore.

It was a vast plain, but most of the demons inhabiting it were 5th rank. There's a reason for that. The main route from city to city is often maintained by the state.

This place was no exception, and if one followed the path, they would not get lost.

The nation periodically sent knights and soldiers to hunt demons near city streets, causing their numbers to dwindle in the region, though not to extinction.

It would be great if the country could kill all the demons, but the cost required for it would be ridiculous.

Of course, the demons could not be left alone during periodic cleanups by the knights as they could multiply quickly and cause great calamities. That's where the adventurers came in.

“What is it... Yangra and Baffolos?”

I was familiar with Yangra, the demon that inhabits the Demon Forest, but I had never seen Baffolo before.

It was shaped like a bull, but its horns were forked and facing forward.

Although Yangra and Baffolo are ranked 5th in the same ranking, the latter is more dangerous. Moreover, they often form a herd.

So far, there is one Yangra and three Baffolo. At that moment they were each chewing on the grass in different places, but the prowess of their attacks was admirable.

Litty knew that the more time they spent wandering, the more likely they would notice.

As this thought flashed through Litty's mind, he quietly walked towards one of the demons. With a surprise attack from behind, he smoothly knocked down one of those standing far away from the others. Not surprisingly, the demon he killed was Yangra.

This was a demon he could defeat even without a weapon, so he handled this one without much effort.

‘One fell, okay! Continue!’

As soon as the three bafollos around noticed him, they reflectively took a step back. But after the initial shock subsided, they then aimed their horns and charged towards him.

Instead of taking a frivolous approach, they move in a straight line creating a path of attack that does not interfere with each other.

At the last moment when the bafollos were about to hit him, Litty suddenly turned right. He flanked Baffolo in the outermost corner, and imitated the skill that Roma showed him.

“Grace freedom!”

It hits the corner from the bottom of the front foot to the back. Even if it did not kill him, it would not be able to stand back up after falling.

Litty did not miss the gap between the two Baffolos who were struggling to stop the momentum of the charge attack (aka the Rush skill).

He jumped right above the two Baffolos, and once again sent Gale Slash.

However, their backs seemed to have thicker skin than the sides of their bodies, so the attack was not strong enough to paralyze them.

When he landed on the other side, one of the Baffolos shook his head and launched an attack. His horns were as sharp as blades, and a single blow from him would be life-threatening.

He immediately moved to avoid the horn, which made a hissing sound as they split the air.

Then, aiming when their attack attack had just begun, he launched the Parrying Cleave into both pairs of horns aimed at him. It didn't matter if they managed to use a charged attack (skill Rush) as they had yet to gain momentum.

As Litty observes the two during the assault, he soon understands their circumstances and releases another Gale Slash as Baffolo's head is deflected by a hemisphere.

‘Two blows! Storm Slash!’

He released two Gale Slash almost simultaneously. It was the application of a skill that not even the guild taught them.

The two Baffolos, after enduring a number of blows, eventually ran out of steam and collapsed.

When Litty manages to take down one Yangra and three Baffolo, he approaches Baffolo's corpse and feels his skin.

They were not as fast as the ravine, but they were stronger. They are also much stronger. If he was hit, a single blow could be fatal.

That's all according to Litty's analysis.

Although both of them were of the same rank, they had different characteristics. The danger varies as well. Litty meant that the Rank was just a rough measure.

Baffolo and Yangra meats are in great demand in the city. The evidence of conquest will be a piece of horn.

However, Litty himself could not carry that much, so this total of four demons was his limit. This alone is enough to make some money.

But that wasn't enough for Litty.

“Running!”

That's when Litty got the idea to go back and forth to the city. Since this place was not too far from the city, it would be easy with Litty's physical abilities.

While running into the city with luggage on his back, Litty wondered, “How am I going to bring all this back?” Transporting luggage is the most important issue.

Above all, the most important thing he felt during the previous battle was the importance of weapons.

Gale Slash was fast and powerful, but failed to kill an extremely formidable demon like that Baffolo.

This may seem excessive, but there will come a time when such a situation could be fatal.

“If I could master many skills and weapons at the same time.

Mastering a large number of weapons at once. It was an idea that was too far-fetched and simple.

“Ha, that's fast.. three Baffolo and one Yangra..” (Repessionist).

Although the plains were located nearby, it was not an easy matter to kill the four demons and return the loot in less than three hours.

The number of demons killed was at a level that required a party consisting of rank 5 adventurers to defeat.

However, the fact that one person had achieved this was enough to drive the adventurers crazy.

“That's impossible..” (first adventurer)

“Loot itself is quite heavy, right?” (2nd adventurer)

“Baffolo is loud and evil, so even one of them will be difficult to deal with. You can't even get close to them as their horns swing around.” (3rd adventurer).

Despite some differences in each Baffolo, Baffolo is one of the most troublesome demons to hunt in the 5th Rank.

It was even considered a rite of passage to fear these monsters at the first meeting after rising to the 5th rank.

The power of its horns and Rush can easily destroy a novice.

The adventurers there had also been beaten by the demons before, the achievements made Litty's presence even more elusive.

“Then, should I process with..” (Repessionist).

“Ah! I still have to hunt a lot today, so please put it all together for later!” (Litty)

“Eh! Wait what!” (Reconsecionist)

Litty ran out again, leaving the receptionist feeling confused and confused.

Although there was still time before sunset, the weather changed.

Litty's endless vitality and enthusiasm could not be restrained by some 5th rank demons.

As he once again ran across the meadow, he felt a presence under his feet. After reflexively jumping, he saw something stick out his head.

It was a 5th Rank Acon, a snake with an extremely long body and the power to strangle a human wearing protective gear in seconds.

Although not venomous, many people were killed by this snake without knowing how it killed them.

If Baffolo was a human equivalent to a Heavy Warrior, Acon would be a Thief or Killer.

Litty also could not attack the fast snakes that were crawling on the ground. He was also considering letting his foot get stuck, but that would be the last resort.

Finding Litty once more, Acon leaps forward, and as the snake approaches, Litty releases Gale Slash, but not directly hits his head, but his body. However, it was not enough to stop the snake's pursuit.

The sturdiness and speed made it more troublesome than Baffolo.

However, Litty had already understood the pattern of his attacks. This demon is similar to a snake, which kills its prey by constriction. It used the momentum of its attack to throw itself and wrapped around the body of its victim. Then, it will squeeze it tightly. Every time the prey exhales, the snake will tighten its grip. Soon, the victim will not be able to breathe.

Litty just needs to focus on dodging and counterattacking whenever the demon approaches with a bite.

When the time was right, Litty would twist his body to dodge the attack and then counterattack with a slash. Due to the nature of the snake's narrowing attack, there would be a time lag before he could coil around his victim, so aiming for that moment, he launched his attack.

Litty, after learning how the demon was moving after the first clash, he immediately defeated Acon.

“I'm sure the useful material for this snake is..”.

Acon scales can also be a great material to sell. The meat has some demand, but it is not very popular. Despite its nutritional value, it tastes bland and is inferior to beef, poultry, or pork.

Litty thought of the elderly couple and wondered if they were also reluctant to accept this meat.

However, he could not let it go to waste, so he decided to bring her back.

Litty then continues her search for Yangra and Baffolo. After killing a few more, he met with over 10 herds, and as expected, he avoided them.

Even after defeating so many of them, there was still a large herd like the one he met, indicating that no matter how many adventurers and knights there were, there would never be an end to their numbers.

Litty went back and forth to the city as much as she could. He felt that he was not strong enough to face a swarm of Baffolo, so he only focused on attacking the small group.

He believed that one day he would be able to defeat such a large herd alone, but he wondered what exactly he would have to do to achieve that.

So far, Litty hasn't really fought that many demons. Even if he had the Strength to fight, Resilience was his current shortcoming.

“Guild Heavy Warrior ..”

No one knew if there was an answer beyond what he muttered. But when that thought popped into his mind, his body began to move.

By the time he finished bringing back all of his spoils, it was already nightfall, and the amount of materials he brought back left everyone in the Adventurers Guild speechless.

While waiting for everything to be processed, he thought of using Zhul's trap as a reference, but the materials needed were sorely lacking. He also thought of Bandera, but he did not have the high magic power to do anything with magic.

What can he do now?

During his fight in the Peat Grassland, Litty reexamined himself.
