Kitchen area

The sound of the clanking of spoons filled the room, the fragrant smell of lotus porridge made Val wake up from his slumber. His head felt dizzy and the weight of the world seemed to swirl.

"Rey..."Call Val slowly.

Zhu Rey immediately put the bowl in her hand, then approached Val and checked her sister's body temperature.

"Have it come down Have you felt any better Val?" Zhu Rey asked him, giving Val a glass of drinking water while helping the girl drink it.

"Yes Val is feeling a little better." Val replied after downing the water.

"Good."

"Val." Call Zhu Rey.

Val looked up at Zhu Rey's red-eyed bead. Zhu Rey's face looked serious making Zhu Val stiffen.

"Huh-yes?"

"Now that we are in Hongzhi sect, I met someone who brought us here."

Hearing that Val jumped up making Zhu Rey pull her up.

"Let's just not rush Val, our identity here to be a handyman."

"But Val has no time left."

"I don't think I want you to destroy the hopes of your parents just because of your careless attitude." Zhu Rey's firmness made Val sigh.

Zhu Rey's hand went down Zhu Val's hair without her conscious finger stopping on the bell band. Feeling an electric shock when touching it. Zhu Rey's expression remained flat showing no pain from the sting.

"Val wants to go back to sleep, does Rey want to accompany Val to sleep?"

"Hm." Zhu Rey agreed.

The two slept side by side, before closing both of his eyes Val continued to stare at the ceiling of the room. Zhu Rey glanced at him at a glance.

"Val aren't you curious about your bell ribbon?"

Val who heard her directly touched her father's ribbon.

"Val wasn't curious if even this ribbon had some mysterious power, Val would someday find out."

"Dad never gave a useless thing to Val despite looking trivial." Val continued, he confirmed his sleeping position to face Zhu Rey.

"I understand that Val's sleeping tomorrow we'll do a lot of things."

Zhu Rey let Val hold her tightly, I don't know she felt comfortable when Val hugged her. It cannot be denied Val has indeed managed to get his heart.

Without Zhu Rey noticing herself sleeping. A subtle snoring rang out from the direction Zhu Val and Zhu Rey both looked like they were exhausted.

The morning when Rey opened her eyes did not find Zhu Val beside her.Dan rushed up when he was about to get off the bed Aunt Su went into the room.

"There's no need to rush your sister to feed the chickens near the sect's kitchen."Said Aunt Su without Zhu Rey asking.

"Thank you."

Some chicks approached Zhu Val, the little girl sowing chicken food around her. While his brain is now looking for ways how to find his two uncles?

If he was in the kitchen area of the sect might not be able to enter and exit freely, without his permission from the head of the kitchen. Val must get permission at all costs. Maybe a good Aunt Su would tell Val who's head of the kitchen.

"Val's here." Call someone.

Val turned his head behind a teenage girl in a kitchen area student uniform calling out to him. Inevitably Val approached the handyman's student.

"Senior called Val? Is there anything Val can help you with."

"Well, can you cut a carrot? I'm gonna get some of the groceries we need, right."

"No problem, Val can do it."

After saying Val into the large kitchen, the kitchen area is divided into five parts. The first area was a special main kitchen for the elders and sect heads. The second area is the second kitchen section made specifically for students. Heard the rumors the elder's food was more delicious than the special food of the sect disciples.

Now Val is in the second kitchen Area, in the third Area, to the fourth and to the fifth. Used as a place to plant some staple foods, then herbs and laying chicken farms.

"Oh Val, have you given food to the chicks?" One of the cooks approached Val with Val on a large table filled with food and cooking utensils.

"It's the knife and the foundation on which it was cut, I'll teach you first." The cook looked excited as he taught Val how to cut carrots.

Val watched him carefully, no difference in the way the cook used. The first thing he did was peel the carrot skin and then cut it to the same size. It was an easy thing however Val was very good at cooking at least his two uncles taught him various things in cooking problems.

"Well, did you understand and remember Val well?"

"Yes Val has remembered her well Uncle Qian."

"Then Uncle will take care of something else, soon our lunch time must be finished before lunchtime arrives."

Chef Qian left Val, now Val has to peel the carrots carefully and cleanly. His petite hands were really troublesome as his profit Uncle Qian gave the blade a size that he could grip easily.

Finished peeling Val's carrot skin cuts her well, even forming the carrot pieces into flower and star shapes as she wishes.

"Ru Qian has her carrot been cut?"

"I need it now."

"Gee, don't you know the carrot just got cut and it's not done yet."

"But when I don't have much soup, it needs carrots."

Hearing that Val sped up his movements, he used the knife smartly and his speed grew barely visible to the ordinary eye.

"Val has to hurry Aunt Rui needs her carrots."

"What're you doing?"

"Rui don't try to disturb him he's cutting carrots."

"Huh? have you gone crazy forcing Val to cut a carrot while he's still so small."

"Stay here there's no one else but him."

After Val finished putting down his knife he brought a tray containing pieces of carrots, and approached Aunt Rui.

"Val's done don't argue anymore."

Rui who saw the unusual shape of the carrot raised her eyebrows.The adorable little boy turned out to be too creative.

"The shape is very unique, thanks for working so hard Val." Rui took the tray from Val's hand and stroked Val's white hair.

"Oh it's for you Aunt bought a tanghulu while going out."

The fruit sweets Rui gave Val a happy smile, she accepted Rui's gift with pleasure.

"Thank you Aunt Rui Val liked her this was the first time Val got a sweet treat."

"Ohoho alright Auntie go first."

Ru Qian sighed as she continued cooking the mutton stir-fry, Val sat by the fireplace where the mutton was being cooked attentively.

"Uncle Qian looks like his sauteed mutton looks good." Said Val while biting his tanghulu.

"Later you can eat it after we finish cooking Uncle will set it aside a little for you."

Hearing that Val's eyes twinkled, the man was too kind to her somehow everyone in the kitchen area was so kind to her. When Val came with Aunt Su he looked shy and awkward.

However, with a humorous attitude Rui and Ru Qian Val managed to eliminate her awkwardness. Suddenly, there was a strange scream coming from outside.

Zhu Rey appeared to make some cooks feel annoyed as Zhu Rey ran over without caution.

"Val!"

"Rey is up? Does Rey want Val to just eat one."

Zhu Rey patted the eel how could she worry too much about this girl? while those in worry are even engrossed in eating sweets, while seeing the cook sauteing goat meat.

"Don't you eat,"

"Don't worry too much about Val, here's Uncle Qian he's taking good care of Val."

Zhu Val pointed at Ru Qian who was blowing flames so as not to die using pieces of bamboo.

"Oh? who's this young Val."

"He's Zhu Rey brother Val Aunt Su forgot to tell you guys like her."

Ru Qian nodded in understanding."Val can you sit in the corner there with your brother? everyone here will be busy preparing the dish because it's done cooking."

Val nodded he brought Zhu Rey to the corner of the room. Zhu Rey watched everyone who was moving quickly arrange some large quantities of food.

"Like him we're not going to be easy to get out of here."

"It would be easy if we had permission from the head of the kitchen."

"Who do you think is the head of the kitchen here? what is Aunt Su."

"It's not Aunt Su she's head of the kitchen in the main kitchen area if Val doesn't know it yet."

Zhu Rey snatched the tanghulu from Val's hand and ate her a little."When you first got here, who were you known to?"

"Uncle Qian then Aunt Rui."

"That means the head of the kitchen here is the Qian animal..."Zhu Rey's words came to a halt as Val looked at her with a sharp gaze.

"Alright I mean Uncle Qian, you don't have to look at me like that Val."

Ah Zhu Rey was really impolite as her Val had to teach Zhu Rey about manners, she said, val had to persuade Uncle Qian to get permission to go in and out of the kitchen.
