The Greatest God

The Greatest God
Cursed Village

The three of them continued on the journey led by Khun.

Zayin was forced to accept Shin's choice. Though he wished for Shin to lead in their small group.

Luckily Khun does not often act like an arrogant leader. However, not once did Khun leave Zayin like he never existed and went with them.

It sucks, but at least it's better than being Khun's errand boy.

Tens of times Shin could only sigh seeing the two arguing. At least they still follow what he says.

Shin smiled looking at the two friends who were again arguing just because of the matter of the tree branch. Cuss with each other. Nobody wants to give up.

"Is there anything funny? why are you laughing?" khun asked in surprise to hear a small ruckus from Shin who was walking behind him.

"No. Just thought as friends, you guys look really familiar to each other."

"Omong empty! Who would be friends with him" Zayin argued.

"I should talk like that."

"For the sake of the great god, you really are. Where exactly does your arrogant nature come from."

"What's? Swaggering? I'm just talking facts."

Zayin rolled up his sleeves irritatedly, "cannot be allowed to. Come fight me."

Khun smiled mockingly at Zayin's silly behavior. Wonderful, did the great god forget to add brains while creating it?

A Khun who was able to make ghosts vanish just by looking at which energy belonged to him, would not be willing to fight with a low-level demon like Zayin.

He walked past Zayin just like that, but the young man was very quiet to receive his attack.

"You! You really underestimated me!"

"Shut up!" gertak Khun's.

Zayin is boiling. This arrogant devil cannot be allowed, he thought.

Until when should he continue to relent and keep quiet with his arrogance?

"Zayin, just shut up for a second."

Zayin's mouth reflexively closed as Shin told her to shut up. The anger subsided, just disappearing when suddenly the atmosphere became silent and serious.

"Did you hear it?" ask Khun to Shin.

Shin nodded. Only then did Zayin come to his senses and sense the presence of the undead that might not be far from where they were.

Which crazy devil makes the undead roam around in the day like now.

Are the demons happy to play humans like a joke? Basic childish.

After walking a few meters far ahead, they saw two warriors in the middle of exterminating some of the undead.

They seemed to have difficulty with the many undead surrounding them.

"Let's help."

Shin's words were approved by both of them. At first the two warriors were quite surprised by their arrival, but after realizing that they were reinforcements, they both felt grateful.

Dozens of undead were finally exterminated faster. Not only eradicate, even Khun uses some mana energy to lock the undead into the earth so they can not rise again.

A difficult technique and draining a lot of mana energy. Of course, the two warriors knew that the help they received was not from random people.

"We are very grateful to the gentlemen who have helped. Thank you very much."

"No need to hesitate, we just happened to pass by, "reply Shin smiled kindly to the two warriors who looked young, but somehow their faces were so tired.

"Include me Shen and my two friends Khun, also Zayin."

"I'm Kai and this is my brother Kane."

"What actually happened? why are the undead attacking in the middle of a day like this."

"The story is long, let's come with us to the village. This place is still not safe for us to chat."

"really. Fear of the undead coming again, " Kane added.

Shin looked at his two friends asking for permission. Obviously the two would not refuse if it was Shin's request. They are together to follow him.

The two warriors lead the three out of the forest before the other undead discover their whereabouts.

...ooo...

Shin was silent for a moment staring at the village from outside. It's so sad to see. The atmosphere was very gloomy and covered in fog.

Upon entering the village Shin saw the old people seen in the middle of planting tubers in the yard of the house.

Shin smiled trying to greet them. They just stared at Shin and the others with my face.

"Trust me, they're not as old as they seem. Their age was not much different from ours" Kai explained to Shin who was walking next to him.

"That's right here."

Shin had not yet asked, but Kai had already taken them to the house which was the largest building in this village.

Again Shin was made pity again. Inside were already a few elderly people lying sick.

Kai and Kane took out the leaves from inside their bag. Put everything in one container and mash it into one.

"Our village is cursed" replied Kane grimly.

"The original inhabitants of this village are cursed to be old and if they work a little bit then they will easily fall ill" explained Kai.

"But if we don't garden, then we won't all be able to survive."

"really. The village is surrounded by the undead. We just can't fight them all, let alone the other villagers."

"We can only help look after them and get into the forest looking for supplies of medicines and some groceries" Kai and Kane explained.

"Is it just you two warriors in this village?" ask Zayin.

"We're both left."

"I'm sorry" Zayin regretted.

"No problem. We can no longer be sad. We're just trying to stay alive and protect our family."

"So, how can you still look so young? Are you not the original inhabitants of this village?" ask Zayin curiously.

"Because we have mana energy."

"Some of the young men here have learned to develop mana energy from a warrior who is traveling all the way to our village. If where we are no longer left, then we will also not be much different from them," explained Kane.

Shin looked at the middle-aged woman who was slowly filtering the water from the previously pounded leaves earlier.

"Who and how can this village be cursed?" shin asked Kai who was next to him.

"Actually hundreds of years ago, this village once had a temple that was used to worship the God Khema."

"Everything is so peaceful that there is an outbreak of disease suffered by villagers. Somehow, the citizens blamed the god Khema for the outbreak. Until the gods were angry and cursed this village."

Shin walked over to the middle-aged woman who had finished making medicine for the others.

"Can I borrow it for a minute?"

The woman looked at Kai until the young man nodded in permission.

Shin rubbed the surface of the large bowl. The woman who was still standing next to the bowl stared in amazement as the potion made a slow ripple while Shin did not touch it at all.

Not only the potion-making women, even some people there were also aware of what Shin was doing.

They could see Shin channel some mana energy into the potion.

"Please give this medicine to them."

The woman nodded in understanding. Hurry up to give each of the small glasses to some of the people lying down.

Like magic. The parents who were lying back to their own age. They can also get up and feel healthy.

This drug has managed to thwart his curse. Kai looked at Shin in disbelief.

Kai was very impressed with Khun at first. Because of the amount of energy he had. Even Kai felt that Khun was still holding back some of the energy he was hiding.

Kai could guess it when he saw Khun expending considerable mana energy without feeling the slightest difficulty.

Who would have thought it turned out that the person who had the weakest mana energy among the three could even make him even more surprised.

Kai rushes to ask Kane to gather the other villagers in order to drink the remaining medicinal herbs.

"Khun, can I ask for your help?" asked Shin to Khun who was standing still from earlier.

"Why should I ask?" Khun started to approach Shin.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" ask Zayin who also wants to do something.

Obviously he doesn't want to lose to Khun.

"You can be here to help Kane and the others. Make sure everyone takes their medicine."

"Ready."

Zayin ran after Kane who had left first.

"Kai, I want to go to the river that we went through before going to the village, can you take us there?"

"certain."

...ooo...

Shin crossed the bridge connecting the village and the forest.

He asked Khun to hold his hand. Drain some mana energy through his hands.

The energy where Shin had not much left after giving some to the medicinal herbs earlier.

Shin made a dome out of which energy Khun gave to cover part of the river and the entire village.

Made a shield that could be passed by humans but made specifically to keep the undead from entering.

"This way the undead will no longer be able to enter the village."

"Thank you very much. Thanks though. "

Kai continued to repeat his words of thanks until he sniffled. The village finally had hope.
