Everything that the wife will do, should be known and approved by the husband.

For example, when mothers who are here have the need for activities outside the home, ask for permission from the husband first. This aims to make the husband know what his wife will do, and ensure the safety of the wife when the husband can not go with her.There are hadiths that discuss the prohibition of women who come out without permission from the husband. This hadith is usually used as the absolute legitimacy of prohibiting such acts.

The hadith was delivered by Abdullah bin Umar, who said:

عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنه قال: رأيت امرأة أتت إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقالت  يا رسول الله ما حق الزوج على زوجته؟ قال: حقه عليها ألأ تخرج من بيتها إلا بإذنه فإن فعلت لعنها الله وملائكته الرحمة وملائكة الغضب حتى تتوب أو ترجع، قالت يا رسول الله وإن كان لها ظالما؟ قال وإن كان ظالما

Meaning:

From Ibn Umar Ra said, “I saw a woman come to the Messenger of Allah and ask: O Messenger of Allah, what are the rights of the husband over his wife? The Prophet replied: the right of the husband to his wife is a wife is not allowed out of his house except with the permission of the husband. When he did so he was cursed by the angel of grace and the angel of Ghodob (angry) until he repented. The woman asked: o Messenger of Allah, though the husband is unjust? The apostle answered Yes, even if he did wrong.” (CHR. Abu Dawood).

It is illegal for the wife to leave the house without her husband's permission, especially what she does is not a positive activity. Even if the wife goes out of the house and she refuses to come back again, then she has been considered to be against the husband or called nusyuz.

In domestic life, there will be many twists and turns that occur. Disputes are considered normal in the family, but if the problem leads to the death of the wife, then it must be a concern.

According to the religious leader Dr. Abdul al Qadir Manshur in Fiqh al-Mar’ah al-Muslimah min al-Kitab wa al-Sunnah, a married woman must ask her husband for permission when she wants to leave the house.

His opinion is reinforced by the story of the Prophet SAW, when there was a woman who asked about the right of husband over his wife. In the story, the Prophet answered.

The right of the husband to his wife is that his wife does not go out of the house except with her permission; if she remains out of the house then God, the angel of mercy, and the angel of wrath will curse her until she repents and returns home.” (CHR. Ibn Abu Syaibah).
