Chapter 18: Immortal God Technique, Awakening Heavenly Jewels (2)
Originally, when Zhou Weiqing obtained this Immortal God Technique, he was afraid of the general principles, and thus never dared to start learning it. He only glanced at the contents of the Immortal God Technique.
In order to cultivate Heavenly Energy, one must possess training arts, and use training arts to cultivate Heavenly Energy, absorb Heavenly Energy from the surroundings to strengthen one's body and increase their internal Heavenly Energy. Heavenly Energy was divided into four great stages, Heavenly Jing Energy, Heavenly Xu Energy, Heavenly Shen Energy, and Heavenly Dao Energy, and each stage was again divided into 12 different levels. This Eternal God Technique was one such training art, but it was very unique and very different from normal training arts.
The art of normal practice, whatever its class, is usually a variety of meditation styles or body exercises; all different ways to stimulate the inner talent to absorb the surrounding energy as a foundation. However, the Eternal God Technique had carved a completely new cultivation path, it could be said that at the core of the technique it was very simple – to break through the Great Acupuncture Points of the body. There was no real need to absorb heavenly energy from the surroundings through meditation or – body exercises every time one broke through the Death Acupuncture Point, his Internal Heavenly Energy would level up. Gathering Heavenly Energy was for the purpose of breaking through Death Acupuncture Points. Thus, it could be said that this art of training was very simple, yet very difficult to actually develop. If he could break through the 36 Death Acupuncture Points of the body, then his Heavenly Energy could break through to level 36, which would be the Shen Heavenly Energy stage, thus entering the last stage of cultivation. After all, his father Admiral Zhou, as the Empire's top expert, was only at the 32nd cultivation level, Heavenly Shen Energy Stage 8, and he had been unable to advance for the past 5 years.
When Zhou Weiqing was young, Admiral Zhou used to look for many different training arts to let him try cultivating, and at least throughout the many arts he tried to use, none of them would pass the crucial Acupuncture Point of Death on the body.

Admiral Zhou was a Celestial Jewel Master, and was usually hereditary; most descendants of Heavenly Jewel Masters would also most likely possess Heavenly Jewels, as long as they could awaken them. However, while examining Zhou Weiqing's body, it was discovered that some of his blocked meridian passageways actually passed through some Death Acupuncture Points. That was the reason why Admiral Zhou never dared to use his own Heavenly Energy to try and force Zhou Weiqing's meridians, regardless of his aspirations that his son replaced him. At that moment, Zhou Weiqing thought that if he could master this Immortal Divine Technique and break through those Death Acupuncture Points, he could also solve the problem of clogged meridians and start cultivating Heavenly Energy.
Today, after listening to the secrets of the Heavenly Jewel from Shangguan Binger, the desire to become a Celestial Gem Master far surpassed the pain he felt in his body right now. He had decided to at least try this Immortal God Technique; if he did not even try, how could he come to terms with his fate so easily. He knew clearly that he didn't have much time left – if humans didn't Awaken their Gem of Power by the age of 16, they would forever lose the chance to do so. At that time it meant he would forever be trash, and who was truly satisfied forever given a choice? Although Zhou Weiqing was afraid of death, but he was even more afraid of being trash forever.
Taking a deep breath, the usual honest expression on Zhou Weiqing's face had disappeared, replaced with a look of serious determination. The 2nd page of the manual described the first of the Death Acupuncture Points for a breakthrough to the Immortal God Technique.
On the old sheepskin it was written: The human body has 52 Single Acupuncture Points, 300 Double Acupuncture Points, 50 Outside-Meridian Special Acupuncture Points, and a total of 720 Acupuncture Points. Of these, 108 are vulnerable points, and 72 are non-lethal and 36 are fatal, Death points mentioned earlier.
Immortal God Technique Part One, Upper, Lower Body Member Training Art. First Point of Death Acupuncture: Clavicles.

The point of Clavicular Acupuncture is a double point, each for left and right. Zhou Weiqing tried to press gently on his own left Acupuncture Point, and felt his entire left side numb for a while, making him afraid that – was indeed great. It should be known that for the 36 Death Acupuncture Points, there were stronger and weaker ones, and after flipping through the Immortal God Technique, he discovered that the later ones were all much stronger. The technique is divided into 4 parts; the first part is Points in the legs, consists of 5 Points, the second part is the back, consists of 8 Points, the third part is the front chest part, the, it consists of 14 points, and the last one is a head area consisting of 9 points. It can be said that it is from easy (relatively) to difficult. Even so, even the easiest clavicle acupuncture points carried such a feeling, this made Zhou Weiqing shudder in fear. Could it be that this Acupuncture of Death Point was truly impenetrable?
After hesitating for a while, he finally confirmed his determination again, as the saying goes, if it was meant to be yours, it would be yours; if he could do it, it would be yours, he could finally have the chance to become a Celestial Gem Master, if he did not try it he would be a trash forever.

According to the manual, Clavicle Point was the easiest to break through all 36 points, and the real key was whether he could hold on or not. Once he survived the breakthrough, he would pass the critical first stage.
After an hour, exhaustion and painful pain caused Zhou Weiqing to be unable to maintain his composure, nor could he feel the slightest hint of Heavenly internal energy at all. However, even though he was afraid of death, but he also had a strong mentality within him, as long as he decided to do something, he would definitely follow through to the end.
