However, as if it was still not enough the mucus suddenly came back to life and fused again and prepared to attack Edward by jumping into the air and turning himself into sharp thorns that darted to stab Esward.
The startled Edward immediately tried to protect himself by pointing his sword at the part the mysterious black slime wanted to aim at. But before the slime thorn managed to stab Edward and make the people in the parlour scared, Angelica immediately appeared beside Edward and pushed her fiance's body back and held the mucus thorn with her left hand.

Seeming the thorn was stuck into the left side of Angelica and began to enter it, Angelica was grimacing in pain and immediately cut off her left hand using a sword that she coated with black fire, to make the flesh blister and close the blood path that successfully stopped the bleeding, but of course with tremendous pain.

This also shook the royal physician because even though his organs were missing. Yet there was not a single damage on her outer body, as if Sofia had been gnawed from within by something unknown.
