Preparations For The Ultimate

One year passed after my achievement of creating a new magic system. During this one year, I conducted countless tests, and as concluded, the system was very stable with the addition of Abyssal Runic Magic, not Aesir.

Everything went very well. My business earns more Soul Coins, which is crucial for the upcoming war. Unfortunately, some Arcane Mechanical Automatons survived at 100,000.

I lacked materials, so I ordered to stop further production and focus on building forts, magic towers, and fortresses around my territory, to fortify it for war.

I have also trained extensively in the Dark Light Clan Traits and attained the rank mastery of the Experts of Clan Traits. Now I can open ten Dark Light portals that can constantly produce Dark Light Spears, which dramatically increases my combat prowess.

The most important thing that happened during this year was that I would soon reach the Highest Class in energy reserves. I am currently at the top of High Class and hold back because I need to prepare some things before reaching the Highest Grade.

I did my research correctly.

When one reaches Ultimate-Class in terms of energy reserves, I am not aware of the process for those who focus on body exercises or physical purification; a huge qualitative change in Energy density and quality comes.

To make it as smooth as possible, I need to strengthen my foundation upon reaching the Ultimate-Class. For Devils, the most common way to reach a higher grade was two. One of the simplest ways is to age, but it is very slow. If some had low innate talent, their progress in a few decades might only be a few units of demonic energy enhancement.

"Architect, is the ritual ready?"

I asked about the state of the ritual.

Today I plan to reach the Ultimate-Class, and I plan to use the ancient ritual that my grandfather used to reach the Ultimate-Class. Hopefully, after the ritual, I will not only be the Ultimate-Class, but also at least in the early stages.

What was also the biggest difference between a High-class Devil and a High-class Devil was that upon reaching the Supreme Class, a Devil would awaken their True Name. When awakening a True Name, some tend to gain special abilities; some True Names reinforce existing abilities.

Also, there were two other True Name abilities.

The second is, during the battle, as long as the enemy does not know the Devil's Real Name, then you basically get an increase in fighting ability. I don't know exactly how it works, but it has to do with the Laws of the Universe.

"After I reach the Ultimate-Class and familiarize myself with my new powers, the expedition can begin."

I said with a bloodthirsty grin.

Over the past year, I dated Venelana three times. From a human point of view, it might sound like we've never met each other, but it's not like that for Devils. Our long life spans make our perceptions of time and things a lot different. I really enjoy spending time with him; he is a funny, responsible and supportive person.

He encouraged me to pursue my magic research, and I have even taught him my Level Magic System. To be honest, after I reached the Ultimate-Class, probably a higher-grade one, I planned to release it to the public. It would significantly strengthen the demons before the Great War and save countless lives.

We both have a lot to do besides the responsibilities of dating. Venelana reached the Highest Class last week; her talent is better than mine. I have a cheat in the form of STC AI Architect. Still, it was annoying because my own talent was low; to be honest, my talent was rather average.

Since then, I started researching a bit about increasing innate talent for some things, and fortunately for me, many human magicians have done something in the past. Draconic Deus humans are pitiful because they are weak and fragile, so they look for ways to enhance their innate talents to rival supernatural beings.

Myrddin Emrys, or by another name, Merlin Ambrosius, invented one such ritual. I had that ritual formula in my library, because my people robbed that library in its hiding place.

It required a lot of precious resources from the various Pantheon.My heart bled when I had to spend too many Soul Coins, but unfortunately, it was for the greater good.

I had combined the ritual into a ritual that my grandfather had used to reach the Ultimate-Class, so I was a bit curious about the changes that would occur.

Combined with STC AI and frightening genius-level magic talent, I wonder what height I will reach. I am aware that my current talents are ordinary and need to be changed.

I went to look for the other two Generals of my troops who were currently staying at Fuerig Castle as they supervised my legion training.

General Amyke and General Azerath. Both were of the Ultimate Class and were much younger than General Borke Zagan. Also, they were ordinary Devils who had somewhat special abilities. General Azerath was born with a fearsome physique and had an extraordinary talent for Touki, Senjutsu, and Martial Arts.

While General Amyke was a swordsman, and on top of that, he was also a magic swordsman. Short-lived races could not master swords, and only those with extraordinary talent could achieve such a feat. The magic arts for swordsmanship would take several lives, but the long-lived species had no such problems.

I ordered the two of them to actively keep watch, as I will reach the Ultimate-Class. I don't want any unexpected circumstances as I also undergo a special ritual.
