Ismail entered his company with strong and authoritative steps. Everyone greeted him politely while looking down, who usually called 'Sir' now turned into 'Boss' according to his request after successfully serving as CEO there.
Ismail sat in his great chair, looking at the busy employees muttering, "This is what it feels like to be CEO. Being respected and disinclined by employees, I no longer need to be afraid and have to report when planning about the proposal I made. All are now in my control." Ishmael smiled with satisfaction.
Meanwhile outside, where the employees work, they are busy with some work in hand.
"Why does it feel so uncomfortable working under Mr Ismail? All the work he has given us. Now I regret ever accusing Kia's mother of evil" James whispered to some of the employees beside him.
"True, even though Kia's mother looks evil and rules as she pleases, but she never leaves us at work. When everyone was home, then Kia's mother also went home. When it comes to meetings with other companies, we never take over for fear of making mistakes. Look at Mr. Ishmael, who comes and goes as he pleases. Even the business of meeting clients was handed over to me who had never been at all." said Riska to James expressed his thoughts.
"You know, yesterday I got angry for saying the wrong thing" he added.
"Oh, huh? How great is our new CEO." said one of them.
"Hey, it's a long time ago, we'll connect. Look, the Boss is watching us!" james whispered with his head down while the others turned their eyes towards Ismail and then pretended to be busy with their respective jobs.
Ismail who felt in gossipkam behind him also woke up from his seat and then out of his room, he walked to the desk of the nearest employee. With his arrogance he folded his hands on his chest.
"Consider everything! To stop your unclear thoughts. I want to let you know that what I'm doing right now, I fired Zaskia under the law. If any of you object, please come forward to pour out your heart. If you feel unsatisfied, you can leave this company honorably." he said casually as if he were the one who won here.
"Oh, yes, take it easy, I will compensate you, if you want to stop working from this company" he added, then noticed all his employees who are currently down did not answer.
"Okay, just keep quiet. I assume you approve of me being your leader from now on. Thank you for believing in my leadership. Now go on, back to work." Ishmael left them and went back into his study.
"For the sake of supporting and feeding children and wives, I will survive to work here while waiting for a miracle Mother Kia will get this company back." James said.
"Right, I have the same thought as you. If it wasn't for Kia's mother adding to my paycheck overtime back then, I would've had a hard time paying for my mother's medical expenses. Kia's mother never wanted to show herself as a good person. He prefers to be misunderstood rather than show off kindness. I salute him." said Riska and nodded by everyone.
The news of Ismail's leadership's breakdown was heard in Zaskia's ears. With her clothes and makeshift makeup, Kia orders a taxi to the company her late father gave her. Getting there, several guards tried to hold him. Kia did not run out of sense, she hit them in the face that blocked her with the sling bag she was wearing. Until the security guard complained of pain. Kia then entered and headed to Ismail's room which was once his room.
"Ishmail! What are you doing, huh?" gertak Kia when she stood face to face with the man.
"Please sit down, Mrs Kia." Ismail did not answer and instead let Kia sit like a guest.
"Why are you asking me about this? This has nothing to do with you who are not employees of this company, Kia. Do I need to remind you again?" ledek Ismail smiled lightly.
"Astaghfiullah, Mail. I should have said that, don't you remember, this isn't Ismail's company! This is my father's company!" Kia brought up something that Ishmael did not like.
"Yes, I know it." he said lightly.
"So, why did you do that to my company?" asked Kia again, her anger was inflamed again.
"Already Kia. I can handle this, look at them outside very much, why pay them if I don't hire them well?" Ishmael smiled cunningly.
"They can't make you endure all this, Mail. This is not what a leader should do to all his employees." Kia tried to give advice even if harshly.
"Haha... Why are you watching them?" Ishmael laughed again at the advice given by Kia.
"It is indeed my fault that I have noticed those who have been my employees for a long time?" Kia stared fiercely.
"You're wrong, because they all hate you, Kia. You're a mastermind, grumpy and selfish. They also helped me to shift your position here!" snarled Ismail after some time of patient restraint.
It turned out that Ismail's screams sounded out to make them all silence. They all went back to thinking, what they had actually done until Ishmael could say that.
"How good I am, willing to do this to maintain your father's company" he added in a tone that began to lower.
Kia fell silent, while remembering some of the awkwardness. Ah, suddenly the memory of Riska asking for an autograph came to pass. Even some other files, Ismail himself who asked for his signature without Kia read first. It is clear now what is called subtle betrayal.
"Listen, Kia. I will never waste this opportunity. You take it easy, I will definitely take good care of this company. And, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a leader."
"Because there's no business here. Please get out of here. Let me and Devita thrive in this company." he said without feeling sinful.
Kia also left the company with a chaotic feeling. "O Allah, am I that cruel to my employees?" he murmured softly while crying again under the roadside tree with the sun shining very hot.
