At the same time, Feng Zun recalled what the Nine-headed Bird King had told him. 

The world attached to the Sixth Star Ruins had long since turned into a lifeless wasteland!

Feng Zun instantly understood a little.

“If there are nine great star ruins, then the catastrophic power that the Ancient Darkness Guard Energy brought might start from the First Star Ruins, then befall the second, and the third… as well as all the worlds connected to her."

“The Sixth Star Ruins World has long been a barren wasteland, it might imply that the Fifth Star Ruins have suffered a similar fate a long time ago."

“As for the seventh, eighth, and ninth Star Ruins? They must have reached their peak along with the receding force of the disaster, and then decreased step by step. In the end, they were destined to become a world as shattered as the Sixth Star Ruins…

“The Nine-Headed Bird King said that when he left the Luo Mainland, he would proceed to the starry sky in search of a new place to cultivate. However, he accidentally found himself in the Sixth Star Ruins."

All of this implied that there were Nine Great Star Ruins, scattered across the vast space!

“However, the Nine Prefectures of Wild Orion have never faced anything similar. In fact, I had searched through various knowledge in the past, but I had never heard of anything similar to the Ancient Darkness Restriction Energy. Could it be that the Nine Great Stars were scattered throughout the starry sky beyond Wild Orion?”

When this matter occurred to him, a vision suddenly appeared without being prevented in Feng Zun's sea of consciousness, in that vision he saw the enormous Wild Orion, which he had, thirty-three additional worlds.

The vision was of course derived from the fragments of his teacher's memory.

Then, deep in the starry sky outside of the Wild Orion region, there was the Nine Star Ruins.

Nine Star Ruins were scattered throughout the galaxy, deep in the night sky of Wild Orion, each of them having its own world.

Similarly, each of the worlds in each Star Ruins, connected with other world fields, large and small, were dotting the area around it.

"Now everything makes more sense." thought Feng Zun.

But everything was different.

Although the Luo Mainland was not particularly impressive, or at the very least, much inferior to the Nine Prefectures of Wild Orion, this world was still a huge world amidst the vastness of the universe.

If he looked at the Nine Prefectures of Wild Orion as the sun, then the Nine Great Stars were like his star cluster.

And beyond the Nine Great Stars, there was naturally still a wider and boundless space. 

Maybe that's the true depth of space!

It took quite some time before Feng Zun put aside his scattered thoughts, looked at Lin Yunlan, and said with a thought, “The Blue Lotus Realm of the Lin Family also experienced the Ancient Guard Energy, too, as well as the sharp recovery of his spiritual energy that was similar to the Radiant Age here. So, you should know better than anyone that the Luo Mainland, will experience an era exactly as you have experienced.”

Lin Yunlan nodded, "That's right, when the clan disposed of your mother, they were already preparing to engage with the Radiant Age in the Luo Mainland, and seize the power of the Luo Veins to strengthen the Lin Family."

“So when the Radiant Age arrives, the strength of the Lin Family will also appear in this world?” asked Feng Zun.

Lin Yunlan nodded, “In the past, the spatial tunnel between the Luo Mainland and the Blue Lotus Realm was still very chaotic and dangerous.”

Feng Zun's eyebrows shot up, "Why?"

“Because your mother's blood runs in your blood. As his son, you are also qualified to inherit that fortune.” Lin Yunlan said grimly. 

He continued, “The old bastard was even willing to send your mother to her death, all to make sure she didn't get it. If they find out that you are still alive..How could they possibly let you get away with it?”

“Actually what kind of luck are we talking about here?” asked Feng Zun.

Lin Yunlan took a deep breath, but she did not hide it anymore, “We call it the Ancestral God Canon... 

"Any Spirit Dao cultivator who inherits it can prove their cultivation and become an Imperial Apex Realm!”

Feng Zun couldn't help but laugh, “Almost everyone would be crazy about such a thing, but to me, it's no more valuable than roasted chicken.”

Lin Yunlan was stunned, and she barely dared to believe her ears.

Who in this world, might see the opportunity to become an Imperial Apex Realm....is even lower than a roasted chicken!?

But in the end, Lin Yunlan quickly understood, he had thought that Feng Zun was saying because he was overwhelmed with anger.

His expression softened, and he said, “Feng Zun, I know that you cannot accept all of this at once, so you rejected me as well as the Lin Family. However, for your safety's sake, I hope you will go with me...

"Trust me that I will do everything in my power and effort, to ensure your safety and pave the way for a bright future for you!”

Every single word he spoke came straight from the bottom of his heart.

Feng Zun also knew that Lin Yunlan really thought of him as a relative, and as an uncle, he wanted to protect his nephew from every danger.

However, it was difficult for Feng Zun to accept this kindness.

Because he doesn't need it at all!

After thinking that, Feng Zun said, "I really appreciate your goodwill.”

He added, “However, I will not go with you, and I do not need your help. As for my path to the Imperial Realm.. I have absolutely no need for the help of the Ancestral God Canon or whatever the name may be.”.
