Chapter 8. APS

Lunch time is over. The employees have started their own tasks.

Romi and the main director walked out of their room to the desk of the employees.

"Good day everyone," said the Director, accompanied by Romi.

"Corn, sir!" all employees stood up from their seats.

"Please everyone gather here. I want to announce something to all of you. It's about a promotion" said the director.

Ayu who heard that, immediately nudged Alma's arm.

"Good job" whispered Ayu slowly.

"Ck!" Alma just clucked to answer Ayu's words.

"Well.. As the chairman of the company, I.. Kamal Baharuddin, appointed Husna Almaida as head of the division.. Because, our old division heads are not right at work. Our new manager, Mr. Romi, found some fraud in the workings of the old division chief. So, for Husna Almaida, are you willing to be appointed head of a new division in this company?" kamal looked at Alma.

Alma looked at all the employees, whose eyes were fixed on her as well.

"I'm ready, sir. I will do my job well without any fraud. I will also be thorough in my work, I will help build this company to become more developed again" said Alma sure.

"good. Comehere!" The director called Alma.

"We welcome the head of the new division of the company" the director applauded, followed by Romi and all the employees.

Alma advanced forward, with mixed feelings. Nervous, happy because he rose to office, and upset to see Romi's face.

"Please, Alma!. What do you want to tell your team members," the Director invited Alma.

"alright. Previously, I was very grateful to Mr. Director and Mr. Romi who had raised my position. For all the friends who may have worked here for a long time, but have not yet gone up in office. Please do not envy me. I am at this point also thanks to all of you, your support and support. For my team, I will guide you as much as I can, so that we can help develop this company again." said Alma sage.

The director, Romi, and the employees applauded again.

"alright. No one is discouraged, when Alma I rise to office like this. Please congratulate Alma. Excuse me!" The director turned towards Alma. "Alma, after this you go straight to my room," said the Director passed leaving the employee room, after getting a nod from Alma.

"Congratulations, Alma. I'm very happy for your promotion" Romi reached out and smiled at Alma.

Alma received Romi's helping hand, and they shook hands, accompanied by a faint smile from Alma.

After Romi left, the employees followed by congratulating Alma.

"Oh my goodness my bestie... Alhamdulillah you rise to office huh? Don't forget the treat, see" demanded Ayu.

Alma just chuckled, "Lo just calm down,"

Alma and Ayu embrace.

After the congratulatory session was over, Alma headed straight for the Director's room. Of course to sign contracts, agreements, and also talk about salary/commission issues.

Afternoon. Alma had gone home from work, she rushed into the house.

"Assynjoke!! Mama....." Alma screamed a little when she got inside the house.

Ani came out from her room.

"What's the matter, Alma?" said Ani gently approaching Alma who was already sitting on the sofa.

"Well.. Today, Al brings good news for Mama" Alma smiled.

Ani sat down beside Alma.

"What?" Ani looked at Alma.

"Al's up for office, Ma.." Alma held both of her Mama's hands.

"really?" Ani sparkling

Alma nodded.

"Alhamdulillah.. Happy darling.." Ani and Alma hugged.

Hugs off.

"Mama will give thanks for your promotion. Later, the food is distributed to the neighboring house only," said Ani happily.

Alma just nodded and smiled widely. She was so happy to see her mom smiling like this.
