Chapter 4: Fei “Barbar”
“Why am I here? What happened?”
The recent events made Fei even more confused. The only thing he knows for sure is that he magically appears in this Diablo-esque world after the mysterious cold voice recites some familiar screen loading terms. Looking around, Fei saw that he had become “Barbar”, which Fei acknowledged was one of the game's characters.
A rusty hand axe appeared in his right hand and a trash-like buckler on his left. It didn't take long for Fei to subconsciously understand his status in the game.
In the next instant, a high-tech-like screen appeared in front of him out of nowhere, just like the one in the Iron Man mansion.

Fei looked at his name at the top of the screen. “What awhat! I just became a king and now I am in the game world? And the savages? NAY! At least let me be classier like a witch or a crusader. “
At this moment, an armored man in blue clothes rushed over.
“Greetings, stranger.I'm not surprised to see your kind here. Many adventurers have traveled this way ever since the problems recently began. No doubt you have heard of the tragedy that befell the city of Tristram. Some say that Diablo, the Ruler of Terror, is walking the world again ... ”.
The man continued to speak with his dialogue. Fei's jaw fell.
As one of Diablo's original fans, Fei was able to immediately see that this man was Warriv, an NPC (an unplayable character) of 【Rogue Encampment】 by the way he dressed and dialogued. Every time a new player appeared, this man would run to the player with a huge golden question mark over his head.
Fei watched him while listening to his dialogue.
Neither his movements nor his facial expressions felt like NPCs. If Fei did not recognize this man, he would think that Warriv was a real person. Even the heat he exhaled while speaking turned into a white mist in this cold air. Fei even felt a damp sensation from him.
“I'm not sure if the NPCs in this world have intelligence?”
After Warriv finished his long speech, Fei deliberately asked a few questions.
“Hey, what's your mother's maiden name? Which way did you grow up? ”
However, Warriv did not bother to answer him. He just left when he was done.
He still let Fei not understand.
After thinking for a while, Fei decided to look for someone else – Reverend Akara.
The streets are deserted and lifeless.
Fei passed through several tents and fences and finally saw priest Akara behind the wooden carriage. There were many oddly shaped bottles and jars surrounding the tent. Fei was quite far away and could already smell a strange smell coming from them.
Akara, who was wearing a purple nun robe, stood in front of the tent.
Fei walked over and a golden question mark appeared above Akara's head.
“I Akara, High Priest Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye. I welcome you, traveler ...... ”Akara began to introduce himself, just like in the original game.
As expected, after the conversation, he gave Fei a search.
“The Den of Evil”, kill all the evil creatures in the evil cave at 【Blood Moor】 right outside 【Rogue Encampment】. Just as Fei remembered. A red button was projected on the left side of Fei's vision.
He pressed the button and a detailed description appeared. It seemed like there was no other choice so he accepted the search.
Fei tried to arrange his words to appear more sophisticated. “Your Excellency Akara, may I know more information about this place?”
He wanted to know if any NPCs had intelligence and he wished he could get a clue as to why he had appeared in this world.
“Young travelers, you must complete your search first before you can know more ...”
Akara's answer surprised Fei.
This is not something written in the original game. It showed that in this world, NPCs had some freedom, and that they did not have rigid pre-programmed codes.
Fei wanted to ask more, but Akara turned around and went to her tent.
He tried to follow her but was blocked by a mysterious force and could not reach 1 meter from the entrance.
“It looks like I need to finish the search first ..”
After failing to get an answer from some other NPCs at 【Rogue Encampment】, Fei walked out the gate guarded by the female rascal, who had been, and step into the dangerous 【Blood Moor】 where a ton of monsters hide around.
“Warning!! Gamer Fei, you have entered 【Blood Moor】. Killing monsters will give you an unexpected surprise .. But if you fail in your quest, you will receive some mysterious punishment! “Say mysterious voice before laughing like crazy.
Fei recognized him as a voice that had appeared in his mind before. It passed so quickly, that Fei only heard the first couple's sentence. The laughter was filled with laughs; however, compared to the cold tone, like the previous machine, it was definitely more humane as it was today.

Fei cut the twentieth 【Quill Rat】 with his axe. A ray of white light descended from the sky and hugged Fei.

This was not the first time it had happened, and Fei was expecting it. Very comfortable in the light, Fei felt like a (sensor). All the wounds were bleeding from fighting the covered monsters and healed in three seconds.

Two dark red buttons appeared in front of Fei. The one on the left is labeled 【New Attributes Points】 and the one on the right reads 【New Skill Points】. This is a reward every time after leveling up.
Fei first opened the menu 【New Attributes Points】.
Each time after leveling up, there would be five points for Fei to improve his physique. He shared three points to 【Strength】 and two points to 【Vitality】without thinking. That is the main attribute of “Barbar”.
He then opened 【New】 Skill Points and distributed the one point he got from leveling up to 【Gunty】
Fei is now a level five “Barbaran”. All twenty-five attribute points distributed to 【Strength and【Vitality】. Of the five skill points, three are shared to【Weapon Mastery】 and two to Warcry【Howl】 skill.
The reason he did so was because this was the real world.
As a player, Fei was injured and injured from fighting monsters. Not only did he lose health, he felt a hundred percent pain as well.
What is worth mentioning is that everything in this world is real, even monsters. They are not programs or codes. Their screams, spewing blood and chopping bodies irritated Fei's nerves every second.
