"Servant, quickly leave this place! Take the Princess with you" exclaimed the empress who had realized there was some irregularity.

"Then what about the Empress" said the maid hesitantly.

"Don't your dreams escape" Chen Kun said as he unsheathed his sword towards Princess Qin Qiang.

"Rub"

The sword that was originally directed towards Princess Qin Qian suddenly blocked the body of empress Xue Meilin. As the heir to the throne of the Qin Empire, he did not want anything to happen to his daughter.

"Servant, run fast is no more time! Take Princess Qian with you and ignore me" the Empress exclaimed as she held the tip of the sword stuck in her stomach.

"Mother.." shouted Princess Qin Qian softly.

"Run away, lest my sacrifice be in vain" said the Empress one last time.

At this moment a sense of misery perched in Xue Meilin's heart, but thinking of the message from the Emperor as well as the Empress, she had to put the safety of Princess Qin Qian first.

Seeing the change in attitude of Chen Kun who had turned out to be a traitor, Xue Meilin turned her back and ran over and left the Empress who was trying hard to save them. As a woman who had a cultivation at the Sky Swordsman level, naturally Xue Meilin could move nimbly leaving the forbidden ground. While including Princess Qin Qian, Xue Meilin immediately disappeared into the darkness of the night.

"You will reap from what you sow this time" the Empress said with a vengeful look.

With a blood-soaked sword, Chen Khun immediately attacked the Empress back. He did not want to lose track of Princess Qin Qian who was his main target.

"Go to Hell"

Chen Kun exclaimed as he slashed his sword towards the Empress.

The empress who had no weapons to fend off, only resigned herself to the actions of Chen Kun who judged her with a few horizontal strokes. With a look of disbelief at last the empress' body collapsed to the ground, her last attempt to save her daughter had to be redeemed with her own life.

However the thing that Xue Meilin did not know was if Princess Qin Qian had already been injured in the aftermath of the secret weapon attack. The silver needle that became the deadly weapon of the Purple Lotus Sect, was now on Princess Qin Qian's body.

Slowly the poison began to spread into his body, inside the sling of Xue Meilin he could only endure the pain without being able to cry. In a short time the effects of the poison immediately attacked Qin Qian's consciousness. With complicated feelings, Princess Qin Qian held back her anger, she could not believe that everything was now the endless silence and darkness she felt.

After successfully getting rid of the empress, Chen Kun quickly moved following towards the run of the empress' personal servant. While bouncing his body, he moved from one roof to the roof of the other house. With his movement he hopes to pursue the escape of the servant as well as Princess Qin.

"Damn, who exactly is this woman? It should have been impossible for him to run far, let alone while carrying Princess Qin who was injured" Chen Kun muttered in annoyance.

"It looks like I should call for help to kill the woman" Chen Kun muttered in his heart.

After failing to catch up to Xue Meilin, he immediately contacted the people he had previously prepared around the entrance of the Imperial Palace. Although he could confirm if Princess Qin Qian would be killed by the attack of his secret weapon, being able to confirm it directly was a very soothing thing to the eyes.

"You guys hurry up and chase after the Empress' maid, she runs towards the South carrying Princess Qin Qian, quickly finish off the two"

Chen Kun ordered the people who were on his side to immediately rush after Princess Qin.

"Okay sir" replied several people simultaneously.

Next they moved by spreading out, with sword weapons at each waist they moved quickly combing through some locations that were suspected to be hiding places.

Meanwhile, Chen Kun had already joined General Shio Mei who had come up with a neatly arranged group. They were the chosen warriors who betrayed and chose to join General Shio Mei because they got a lucrative offer from the notorious female General.

The night really became a dark night for Emperor Qin Lau, after making sure his son and wife left he fought his whole life betting energy. Although he was no match for General Shio Mei, yet he would risk his honor for the latter, yet when he saw the arrival of Chen Kun who joined Shio Mei's group his gaze became disturbed.

"You... Why are you here? Where are my wife and daughter?"

Emperor Qin Lau looked at Chen Kun in surprise, not usually his personal bodyguard was disobedient to orders from him.

"Of course they are over" Chen Kun replied with a cold grin.

"What do you mean?" emperor Qin Lau asked in shock.

"I just killed them" Chen Kun said as he displayed a sword that was still covered in blood.

Hearing the statement from Chen Kun Emperor Qin Lau's body trembled, as if the world had left him he looked at his personal bodyguard with hatred. He really did not expect if the people he had believed were now betrayed, especially with the support of General Shio Mei who already had influence and power in the military field was difficult to deal with.
