The Legend Of The Sword Goddess

The Legend Of The Sword Goddess
Episode 3

"Greetings to you, Princess." The young man bowed, one leg folded and touched the ground. Just like the attitude of a knight.

Iluina was stunned by the sight before her. Who else is this guy? Seeing from the unusual eye color and Prince-style clothes that the young man wore made the girl feel more like she was in another world.

"You ... "

"Hamba is your Baylass, Princess."

What princess! Iluina wanted to scream and cursing. And what is Baylass? The name of the young man?

"So, your name is Baylass? If you can tell, where is this? Novel or game?"

***

The black netra looked at the people passing by. This place is a traditional market that may only exist in the land of fairy tales, see how the clothes people wear look strange to the girl.

"This place is the northernmost city of Kadhewa, as well as the border to the land of Mahekra. The forest you were in was a sacred place protected by the gods for thousands of years. Only descendants of the gods could enter there. It's an honor for me to be there at our first meeting."

The young man who was suddenly present and kneeling in front of Iluina was a Baylass. He said Baylass is a term for creatures that will be a guide as well as an advisor and strategist who must have every original descendant of the King. Despite still not believing the young man's words completely, Iluina still followed her instructions to change into more appropriate clothes so that no one would look at her strangely.

"So, from your story earlier it can be concluded that I am the original descendant of the King is also a descendant of a god?"

The young man smiled wryly and nodded confirming.

"You are the sole heir of the land of Kadhewa. For some reason, King Ashgra sent you to another world. But I only know that, because all the information is not yet open."

Iluina sighed. So far, the information he got was that this place was the land of Kadhewa, and Iluina was the sole heir to this land. He said the place where Iluina was lost was a sacred place that could only be entered by descendants of gods. Really useful and amazing information!

"Oh yes, you said that other than Baylass, every heir to the throne must have a Knight right? Where are the Knights for me?"

"Hamba doesn't know, Princess. The information I have is very limited. The noblest god hasn't opened all the information portals for me."

CK, god sucks.

"How can I find more information? I want to go home! Rachel must be worried." Iluina clucked dislikes. Why give something half-and-half like this?

"Actually for basic information such as where you came from, who became the Protective Knight, and how you could be sent to another world can I get. You just have to do one thing to get all that information."

Iluina looked at the young man walking beside her with a serious look.

"What am I supposed to do?"

"You must name the servant."

A name? The girl was silent. Also true! The young man who had walked with him had not given his name at all. Is naming a Baylass a sign that he is truly the heir to the throne?

Hm ... Iluina thought for a moment, remembering the cool names she knew. The arvatha? The girl immediately shook her head. No one deserves that name but his first love.

"Rabelle?"

Iluina frowned as the young man beside her looked extremely shocked before she finally nodded.

"thank you. That's a very nice name."

"So, is there any information?" The girl asked impatiently.

The young man who had just been named Rael was silent for a while, then his smile rose.

"The Knights of the Princess have long been by your side, Your Majesty. You can call him with the strength you have. Her name's Rachel."

The girl fell silent, the shadow of a girl flashed through her mind. Rachel's? What does it mean that Rachel has been with him for seventeen years? Is that the reason they were found in the same place and day? But how can it be? All this time Rachel didn't look like someone who had the talent to be a Knight. The girl grew up to be a graceful and gentle person. Even Rachel was more suited to be called the Princess than Iluina.

"I don't have any power, then how can I call him?"

Rael stared silently at the girl before him.

"Just like the way you called the servant earlier" he said convincingly.

Iluina shook her head, "i never called you and stopped talking formally! Please just call me Iluina."

The young man walking beside the girl sighed. His violet netra was staring at the surroundings. It turned out that without him himself knowing, since a lot of people have been staring at them. It's not good.

"We left this place first," he said as he pulled Iluina's hand with wide steps.

The girl ran a little to compensate for Rael's steps dragging her. What's actually going on? Iluina felt tense suddenly, like she was in a game and they were being chased by monsters.

"There's actually an ap-"

"Hush!" Rael silenced the girl's mouth before Iluina finished her words.

The young man looked around. The place they stopped was a small, very quiet hallway.

"Let's go back to the forest. This place is dangerous, Iluina." Rael whispered softly, making the girl he was silencing feel fear.

"Why did we stop here?" Iluina also asked in a soft voice after the young man distanced his hand.

"Of course to open the gate!" The young man said as he continued to look out for the circumstances around.

"What gate?" Iluina asked with a confused look. "The gate to the forest was around here?"

Rael looked at Iluina as if the girl was the rarest creature she had ever encountered.

"A gate that only you can open, Iluina. The forest was not a place that could be seen with the naked eye. We have to open the gate to get in there. I brought you here because it's impossible to use your power and open the gates in crowded places."

The girl felt like crying with the explanation Rael said. How do I open the gate? It's been said Iluina doesn't have any power.

"I can't!" Iluina was frustrated. "I'm just an ordinary human being as well as a disciple, where could the absurd power you spoke of earlier. I don't even know what's wrong with me being stuck here. I just wanted to go to school this morning. I was planning to go quietly and exchange our necklaces, but-"

"Stop!" Rael cut a long sentence of the girl who started to shed tears before him. Was the master he was going to serve this time a crybaby?

"Crying won't solve the problem, Iluina. I'm sorry if I was in such a hurry when you weren't used to using your own power."

The young man's soft words made Iluina's cries stop. The girl lowered her head to remove the contact lenses she was wearing, the girl's red netra seemed to shine in a dim place.

Rael was stunned to look at the ruby netra before him, and without him noticing his body was bent by itself. He could feel his whole body trembling. Longing, awe, fear, and passion that he did not feel for a long time as if gathered into one.

'b ... He really is my master. How long have I waited for this moment?' The young man nodded.

"Why are you like that? Wake up! We have to get out of here, right? Let's find a place that's a little roomy and please tell me how to use my powers."

Rael looked up, fixated on the serious look of the girl before him.

"I'll teach you slowly." The young man stood up, looking back at the seventeen-year-old girl whom he believed was the figure he had been waiting for all this time. "But we can't get out of here or find lodging. The hallway we are in now is the only safe place. I'm sure some people are aware of my existence. We just need to not make a sound."

Iluina was speechless obedient though she was curious as to the reason people were chasing the young man before her. After all, isn't Iluina the heir to the throne of this country? Why should they run?

"What do I do now?" The girl chose to get rid of her curiosity first. After all they had to make it to the forest where Iluina had arrived earlier.

"The color of that power has been flowing in your blood since you were in the womb, the key is your own faith. A sincere and strong desire is also needed. You just need to concentrate and the strength in your body will come out on its own. As long as you concentrate, think of the place you want to go."

A sincere and strong desire. Iluina steadied her heart to be there again even though she was a little scared. Then self-confidence, which unfortunately the girl did not have at all.

Iluina felt something flowing all over her body, extremely hot and painful. The girl kept her eyes closed, trying to ignore the growing pain that was eating away at her body. Sweat ran down the girl's forehead, Rael looked at her in silence. The process would probably be very painful since Iluina had never used her strength in the least.

Rael held his breath as red light began to glow around Iluina, creeping on the ground they were on. Any minute! The young man did not take his eyes off the light that was getting brighter. But then the light just disappeared.

Iluina opened her eyes, gasping as she felt something flowing down her cheeks. The girl saw a drop of viscous red liquid fall to the ground, making her body tremble. Slowly he touched the fluid that kept flowing from his eyes, his net widening as the viscous blood was on his hands. His eyes bleed?

The girl looked frantically at Rael who was speechless peeking. The young man's violet net looked glazed over, his heart felt dulled as Iluina's eyes drained blood.

'What has to happen again?' Rael felt his entire body tremble, the shadows he was trying to forget flooded the memories. Fear came back to him.

"Rael, what's the matter? Was everyone like this the first time they used their power?"

Realizing the girl before him was panicking, Rael reached out, removing the red liquid on Iluina's cheeks that started to stop flowing. The young man tried to calm himself.

"Sometimes it's like that. Although rare, but someone who drains blood from his eyes when using force, it means he has a very powerful power."

Somehow, Iluina saw a lie emanating in the violet netra of the young man before her. He was not sure what he saw was a lie or an illusion. Iluina never studied psychology, so she also could not understand how the body language of someone who was lying. But, Iluina knew for sure that the body of the young man before her shook and looked terrified. The girl wanted to directly ask but chose to save her curiosity for later.

"I've tried to use force like you taught me, but why are we still here?"

"You're not sure about yourself," Rael returned to notice the surroundings. The young man had not been able to use his strength. It took him several days to awaken all of his strength after a long period of inactivity.

"Just this-"

With a step approaching, Rael stopped his words. The young man's listening senses sharpened, sensing not just one or two people walking towards them.

"What's wrong?" Iluina who did not hear anything paled as Rael held her wrist tightly.

"Some came from two opposite directions. We have to leave, Iluina. If we get caught here and it turns out that it's the Knights of Dashkra country, then we'll be done before we do anything."

Iluina was fixated on hearing Rael's explanation that was completely incomprehensible to her, the girl's face paled even more as Rael nodded and whispered softly for her to open the gate immediately.

Despite not understanding the situation, the girl immediately closed her eyes again, concentrating. Her body felt trembling, Iluina imagined the forest where she arrived while sincerely hoping. He really had to go to that forest and think of a way out of this land in the middle of nowhere.

Just like earlier, when that power flowed throughout his veins, his body felt extremely sick and hot. Iluina could feel the red light back glowing around them. The sweat flooded back, the hope and desire were very strong to make the light coming from the girl's body more concentrated.

'I want to go home and see Rachel. Anyway, please let me be with Rachel again. I need it, I want Rachel!' Iluina was heartbroken, her tears flowing along with the red liquid that made her eyes feel so painful.

The sound of breathing choked and the light and pain that suddenly disappeared made the girl open her eyes and the net was instantly wide-eyed. Aye? Why like this?

"Iluina?"

"Rachel?"

Rachel stumbled while staring at the clock that had shown at five in the afternoon. Iluina still hasn't come home and without any news. The girl had already asked the discipline section at her school, but indeed Iluina did not come to school at all, not late or was working on punishment.

"Where are you really, Iluina?"

Besides being restless as Iluina disappeared without any news, the girl also felt something strange on her body. Since school, his palms were hot and his whole body was in pain for no reason. Not to mention the emerald netra of the girl also felt pain.

Rachel stood in front of the mirror, removing the black wig and contact lenses she was wearing. The girl sighed as she stepped into the bathroom. Kos-kosan where he lived was a house mostly inhabited by students or students from various regions.

There were two bathrooms in this house, one was at the end of the hallway, a bit away from the room that Rachel and Iluina lived in. The emerald bead stared at one more bathroom closest to his room that was apparently being used by someone else. Rachel again turned the steps through the hallway towards the only remaining bathroom.

Rachel stopped her steps right at the bathroom door. Again, his whole body was in pain. Plus his palms and eyes were hot.

The girl again stepped into the bathroom, turned on the shower and immediately flushed her body. Rachel held her breath when the cold water bit, but strangely the pain and heat she felt did not decrease. It even made his whole body sick.

Rachel took off all the clothes that were attached to her body, hoping that the pain would also disappear.

"Am I tired?" The girl touched her neck, this was the first time she felt this kind of pain. Today was exhausting for him, Iluina who disappeared without news plus the pain that came suddenly.

Thirty minutes later, the girl was forced to finish her shower. Not a single bit of pain in his body faded away. Rachel looked at her appearance in front of the mirror, looking at Iluina's crescent-roofed necklace attached to her neck.

Sighing, the girl rubbed her necklace pendulum. He was choked when he saw a red light coming out of the necklace pendulum and spread throughout his body. Rachel doesn't know what's going on. He closed his eyes when the light shone very brightly.

As she felt that the blinding light was gone, Rachel opened her eyes. The emerald Netra looked confusedly at the girl before her.

"Iluina?"

"Rachel?"

Rachel was just about to scream asking what was really going on before her emerald net caught the presence of others there. The girl gasped, her eyes bulging as both hands tightened the bathrobe she was using.

Rael awakens from his amazement when the girl who just came stares at him. The young man cleared his throat as he turned his eyes, the corners of his lips quivering withstanding laughter.

Iluina bit her lip, it seemed like she called out to Rachel when the girl had just finished her bath.

"What's really going on?" Rachel exhaled slowly, calming down. "Why am I suddenly here? The light was ap-"

The girl almost squealed as Rael covered her mouth, before she saw the young man put an index finger on his own lips. Rachel gulped. He did not know what was going on, but seeing Iluina shut up and putting on a tense look made the girl feel uneasy.

Netra widened when she heard the clattering of steps approaching and the sound of some people who seemed to be shouting.

"They're getting closer, Iluina!" Rael whispered though a commanding tone of voice. "Hurry and open the gate. Wherever the safest place you can think of, hurry!"

Her body trembled slightly when Iluina returned to concentrating. The girl thought of a place. Red light spread around and carried their bodies disappearing right when the people came.

The men consisting of five men and two women stopped right where Iluina had been.

"I feel the rest of His Majesty Ashgra's strength around here" said a red-haired girl crouched down, touching the ground she was on her feet and frowning.

"Although faint, there's the former presence of Knight Leandro as well, right?" A young man who was also crouching beside the girl turned his head, his face looking solemn.

"Then there are only two possibilities." A man whose entire hair had turned gray said, The considerable scratch marks along the right cheek made his appearance look quite scary. "King Ashgra and Knight Leandro are on a stealth patrol, or the Princess and her Knights are already in this land."

The six people at the place were shocked to hear their chief's words.

"Two of us should immediately return to the palace and report this incident to His Majesty."

Iluina, Rachel and Rael end up in the safest place chosen by the Princess.

"Is there nowhere else you can think of?" Rachel clucked in annoyance, staring at the narrow space that Iluina had chosen as the safest place.

"But I used to come here when I was being chased, there was nothing safer than this place I could think of." Iluina defended herself, her lips scowling in disbelief.

"Strangle later. We need to get out of here before anyone catches."

Rael's words left the two girls speechless. They had to get out of the narrow room, although Rachel was sure that no one would notice because the entire school was home.

The safest place Iluina thought of was one of the cubicles in their school toilet.
