They were in the apartment building. Fyd and Kerlan's room was near the exit, so they could get in and out of the building easily. Actually they want to go to Henelina's apartment to ask more tafiw incident, because he seems to know something. But they abandoned their intention because it was already night and they had been walking around for a few hours.

They then lay down onto their respective beds. Because in the apartment it has 2 different beds. The bed is for 1 person only.
