Chapter 15 - Making a Deal

Xiao Yan looked exhausted and his gaze felt blurry, Wu Ming was already dead and to stand alone he was already very troubled. The effect of using Divine Qi had an impact on his body, it was a natural thing since his body was not yet strong enough.

"Dad !" Wu Fan shouted loudly and Xiao Yan looked pale, "I'll kill you !"

Wu Fan took out his dagger and dashed towards Xiao Yan in anger, Xiao Yan wanted to move but his body felt extremely ill. The dense black fog wrapped Wu Fan abruptly and swallowed him, the sound of screams sounded extremely loud and slowly the fog faded away.

The figure of the man with white hair and short fangs showed his face, he smiled towards Xiao Yan and did not show the slightest hostility.

The man threw a Token and said, "The Hunter Union is coming soon and you owe me your life. Meet me at the Dark Market because there has to be something we're talking about !"

The figure of the Man left and Xiao Yan took his Token, he stored his Sword and fell unconscious. After much commotion and destruction from the fight many reports entered and the Hunter Union came.

Reports said that the Academy Hero was assaulted, Xiao Yan was rushed to the hospital for treatment and while Wu Ming's corpse posed many questions. The unconscious Wu Fan was taken away and would later be interrogated by the other party.

The news of this fight quickly spread widely and was reported in other media. Xiao Xuan was certainly very worried about his Brother and luckily the doctor said that Xiao Yan was simply exhausted from using too much Mana.

In the afternoon Xiao Yan woke up and his body was still in pain, but when compared to the last time then it was nothing.

"Wake up ?" Asked A Man who was none other than Mayor Su Mo.

Xiao Yan had seen the Mayor's face and after seeing it straight away it made no difference, "Yes ?"

"Of course the explanation in detail." Su Mo replied as he lit his cigarette and offered it to Xiao Yan.

Xiao Yan took one and turned it on, "Huh.... This Wu Group and the people behind him were the reason why the Abbys Monster changed within the Academy Dungeon. Before he turned like Monster Wu Ming injected a strange liquid into his body, the rest of me had no choice but to kill him."

"Hahaha.... You mean you still had time to think of capturing him alive ?" Su Mo laughed loudly.

"Not really." Xiao Yan smoked his cigarette and looked out the window.

Su Mo did not deny it at all and in fact he already knew from Wu Fan's interrogation, although not many things could be revealed but all the evidence had already been gathered and the Wu Group was closed. The fact that Xiao Yan was a Zero and possessed great abilities was real proof, defeating a level three martial artist who was at the peak of perhaps in history only Xiao Yan was capable.

"I'm not interested.What I want is power, money and my brother. As for the competition to seek fame it was not necessary, hunting down the Abbys Monster was already profitable enough for me." Xiao Yan replied firmly.

"Don't rush to reject it because maybe you'll be interested in the prize. Besides you can soak in the blood essence of a level 6 Abbys Monster during the top three and for the main champion will get a Fire element Crystal which is a dream for Martial Artists who have a Witch Job. After all, all the young geniuses will gather and enter the Gate." Su Mo explained everything briefly.

Xiao Yan thought for a while and felt interested in everything, yet what made him curious was this Gate. Another dimension that is close to each other and contains many Abbys Monsters, this new thing certainly arouses his spirit. But he could not allow himself to work without benefits, regardless of the reward he could only get if he got a high rank and not a direct gift from the Mayor.

"Despite all that this good opportunity can only be obtained if I have the ability, if you want the horse to run faster then he must have enough power. I want to start a business and I want the remaining properties of the Wu Group, all the relics they keep will be mine !" Xiao Yan made an offer.

"OK. I'll set it up and I hope you mean it." Su Mo agreed unconditionally.

The two of them shook hands and agreed with this, Xiao Yan did not want to linger in the hospital and left after obtaining a permit. All the reporters who were looking for him were blocked and he was ushered by members of the Hunter Society back home.

Seeing his Brother return Xiao Xuan and Niu feeling pleased and Xiao Yan explaining everything, Xiao Xuan's expression looked hateful and Wu Fan was about to target his Brother to this point.

"There's no point in you hating that trash. Take the upside and now all the Wu Group assets are mine." Xiao Yan said solemnly.

"Then what does Big Brother want to do with all those Assets ?" Xiao Xuan asked curiously.

"I originally wanted you to run it but it doesn't look like you're going to. I'm sure you've chosen the University you want to go to now !" Xiao Yan said casually.

"Yes, I've prepared myself for the National exam. As long as I work hard to break through level 2 then I can be admitted to the Sacred University." Xiao Xuan replied firmly.

"I won't follow you there and you don't have to worry about money, Niu will teach you how to practice when I'm busy later and work hard. When I see you back here later I want to see my sister get strong until I won't worry about her anymore." Xiao Yan looked solemn.

"Good." Xiao Xuan did not want to protest and would make use of all the resources he had.

Xiao Yan had other intentions for his sister and someone would grow up when he came out of his comfort zone. In the future Xiao Xuan would fight for his own life, as well as his own who would have to grow stronger again.

The last time he was about to die in the hands of a snot boy due to exhaustion, if not for the help of the man it was impossible for him to live until now. There was too much debt he had to bear and probably the other party's desperate request that he should work on.
