The Mistress

The Mistress
Episode 48's

The party is over and it has been a week. Abigail has returned to San Diego with her wife to start a new life there.

After her eldest son's party was over and running smoothly, Patricia was now preparing for her youngest son's wedding party.

Even though Rea and Adam had actually rejected a lavish party for their wedding, Patricia remained tight-lipped. Both sons should be treated fairly, especially Rea. The whole world must know that Rea will now be his.

"Adam, today you will go to Carol's boutique to choose Rea's wedding dress. Mom will follow after you finish accompanying Daddy to meet his friend from Switzerland." This is an order that Adam should not deny.

Adam did not answer, he considered Patricia's words to be just the last wind, although in the end he will still do it.

At that very instant, Rea descended from his room. It is neat and looks beautiful with a black knee-length dress.

"Dear dear." greeted Rea, then fixed the girl's long wavy hair.

"Choose the most beautiful dress for Rea, because soon she will be the universal queen" Patricia said.

Unlike Patricia who is always excited, Rea and Adam are the opposite. Both of them still strongly reject this marriage.

In the car on the way to a famous boutique owned by a professional designer, Rea just kept quiet, so did Adam. The two drift in their respective daydreams.

"Can't Brother Adam do something for this marriage to be annulled?" ask Rea suddenly.

Adam looked at Rea, the man could see that he was very distressed about this wedding plan. But the hatred in his heart overcame everything. To him, every utterance that came out of the girl's mouth was just a lie and a charade.

For Adam, Rea's current remarks, so as not to show that he really wanted this marriage. Rea just pretended to be every innocence.

"Death, then this marriage is void!" adam said without feeling at all. And it managed to make Rea's heart stop beating. How painful is the mouth of the man who said he was going to be her husband.

Rea did not reply, his heart was so deeply shaken.

Arriving at the boutique, Adam does not do what Patricia tells him to do. The man just sat and waited without concern for Rea.

Rea did not choose much, she only tried two dresses, after which asked the boutique owner to choose which one.

Rea stood in front of Adam who was sitting in the waiting chair while playing his phone. The man realized his presence.

"What's up?!" very unfriendly.

"It's done. Come home." he said briefly. Ever since Adam said those slashing words, his world went dark. The girl was not excited to do anything anymore.

Adam did not expect it to be this fast, even though he had guessed how excited Rea was to choose her dress and show her to ask for her assessment.

But Adam did not care, instead he was happy because he would not be bothered by something useless.

Without answering, Adam walked out of the boutique that was followed by Rea.

"Let's just say Rea, you really want to marry me, don't you?" adam said as they were on their way home.

Rea did not reply, and had no intention of paying any heed to the man.

"I know, you pretended to refuse to let Mommy and Daddy think as if you were hurt. That night, you threw your body at me." It was a disgrace.

Rea looked at him fiercely, he could not argue that he himself had come to Adam's room and done something he shouldn't have. But for this marriage, it was all beyond her guess.

"Stop!" rea shouted, making Adam surprised until the man stopped suddenly.

"Yes, I did come to Brother's room that night. I did that to make Brother's accusation a reality. And now I'm not the old Rea. Now I'm just a cheap woman who's after the Ainsley family treasure." Rea's tears were pouring down. The girl was very tired of all the accusations of Adam.

"I'm Adam's cheap girl!" shout Rea. "And I'd rather be a cheap woman and give my body to another man than marry you!" Rea satisfies everything.

Fed up of seeing Adam's ever-sullen face, Rea opened the car door and got out of there. The girl walked in opposite directions.
