The Monsters!
61. The S2 Raga Costa

"No-no, don't come any closer!"

A man with a robe on his body, seemed to be scared to death with a man before him.

"Hm? Shouldn't you be begging for forgiveness?" Asked the man while pulling the sword algae from a small magic circle near his shoulder

Crangs...

The sound of sword and floor friction rang out, making the fear even more so for the man earlier. Especially behind the man so many piles of corpses lying.

"No-no no!!"

Crack!!

One powerful slash split the man's body, including the floor shattered by the light slash.

In the middle of the activity, a man is seen walking over, a man with full armor on his body.

"Mr Raga, we've done everything!" His words were followed up with other members

"Gather all the information that can still be stored, and for the living immediately send to the prison, do well so they want to tell where the other group is!" Raga threw the sword into the air and it disappeared into small particles

"Good!"

The members quickly split up, trying to gather whatever could still be retrieved, especially some information that could have been stored among the books.

"Good work Mr. Rega! As expected of the God Envoy Saka!" Praise King Arnold as he applauds other nobles

"So noble, what Lord Raga did cannot be compared to what the Hero of Anika kingdom did!" Praise one of the nobles

Receiving compliments somehow did not make Raga proud, but rather the annoyance she got, especially when seeing the licking nature of the nobles to her

the royal garden

Raga pensively kept silent as she stared at the fountain in front of her, her eyes so intense as she held a glass of wine in her hands.

"Megi?" Reply Raga stared flatly at the woman beside him

"What's wrong? Where's your happiness, hm?" Megi's question stood quietly beside Raga

"I don't know" replied Raga flatly

"Have you heard of the capital, Anika?" Ask Megi

Raga racked her brain, she recalled the information that Rendy had told her back then, about how the royal capital was wiped out.

"Yes" he answered briefly

"In your opinion, the hero is too weak. Or is the enemy too strong?" Megi asked smiling

"Come away, but why does their Goddess give no help. Will Lord Saka also do that someday?" Tanya Raga made Megi surprised and smiled

"Hm ... You don't know a little secret?"

"Say,"

"The Gods will never help mankind, and if they do that through us as intermediaries."

"Reason?"

"A few hundred thousand years ago, there was a God who created the world and the universe, when he was sealed. He once said and gave a curse. Where when a powerful entity (God) issues its power, then they will be punished by the universe, in the form of a hundred-year seal." Megi smiled

Raga was silent, trying to understand what Megi had told her, regarding the assumption that Raga was convinced that this was what made the Gods send someone to head for the underworld.

"Of course, the consequences of that made it difficult for the Gods to move, and that is why they called a messenger who was none other than us. Whose job is to do whatever mission he's given."

"so. But did God do this because he wanted to help humanity, or ... Because something?"

The question made Megi speechless, what Raga said certainly refers to the wishes and intentions of the Gods all along.

There is no way that if they were to summon heroes just to protect mankind, there must be other intentions that others do not understand.

"I'm actually thinking that, too,"
