Saka and Orion flew at a constant speed towards the southeast. Both of them put up a careful perception of not wanting to miss even a small thing. As the sun began to sink to the west, a village appeared in Saka's vision.
"We rest in that village alone, Brother Rion!"
Orion just nodded and followed Saka. However, as they got closer to the village, the gate was already sealed and all the residents had already locked themselves in the house.
"Young Master, this village is very strange," said Orion because the atmosphere is so gripping even though the night is not so late.
Saka looked around, trying to circulate his perception, but he found nothing strange.
"We should go straight in, we'll ask the people inside."
The two flew and landed not far from the village gate. No one came, but Saka could see several pairs of eyes peering from each other's homes. Still overwhelmed with confusion, Saka keeps walking trying to find residents who may still be outside the house.
So long walking, not a single resident came out of the house, making Saka a little irritated. He was curious, but there was nothing to ask because everyone was hiding.
"It looks like this is the Village Chief's house, Young Master!" orion said as they stood in front of the house that looked most striking.
Saka used his god eyes to look inside the house and saw a middle-aged man peering through the door.
"Uncle, out! I have something to ask you about the condition of this village." Saka used telepathy which left the middle-aged man behind the door strayed in shock.
Saka smiled faintly looking at her. Shortly afterwards, the sound of the door being opened slowly. The figure of the middle-aged man who looked older than his age walked slowly closer towards Saka. The trace of fear could not be removed from his face making Saka frown in wonder. What exactly happened in this village that all the inhabitants were so terrified of?
"Uncle, don't be afraid! I just want to find out what happened in this village, I'm grateful that I can help." Saka kindly greeted the Village Chief who was too hesitant to step up.
Hearing the word of help, a glimmer of hope appeared in the Village Chief's heart.
"really? Young Master is willing to help this village?"
"Of course, Uncle! Now just tell me the truth. Why is this village so quiet when the night is not too late?"
The face of the Village Chief returned grim. "This has been going on for five days, Young Master! Every night will come a mob of people who kidnap the younger generation in this village, and also take away our property. Their strength is immense and we are no match for it." The Village Chief was only able to blame himself for being helpless. With his cultivation level being only at the realm of sixth level Generals, it was not enough to fight against the people who came every night.
Saka's eyebrows raised next door. "Didn't you report to the City Lord?"
The Village Chief let out a long breath. "We've tried it, Young Master! But all those who tried to report to the City Lord no one returned to the village until now."
Saka felt something unnatural. "Uncle, relax! I will investigate this matter and as much as possible save the kidnapped people."
"really? Young Master, but those people are very strong and the movements are fast. Despite being in the same realm, his strength is above ours."
Saka was silent with a lot of guesswork in his mind. "We'll know after they come. Village Chief, you better get back inside the house. I'll welcome them when they come."
"Young Master, be careful!" the Village Chief's message before going back inside the house and closing the door tightly. Even so, he still peeked because he was very worried about the safety of the two Young Masters who wanted to help the residents of his village.
"Young Master, what are we going to do?" asked Orion as soon as the Village Chief had left.
"We wait for them to come. It would save more time if they were to show the way to their own headquarters."
When the analog numbers on the system screen showed nine o'clock, several black shadow figures were detected Saka's perception.
"They came," Saka muttered but was still able to be heard by Orion which made the young man stop his cultivation.
"Six people, the highest Heaven realm second level, and the lowest realm third level General."
Saka stood up, stretching his fairly stiff body muscles. "Let me act, brother! Just be on your guard for all possibilities." Before Orion volunteered, Saka had already given the order which made Orion only able to nod.
In five breaths, the shadowy figure reached Saka's place and was quite surprised to find two brave humans outside the house.
"Who are you?" One of the figures asked cautiously. He realized that the two people were not villagers.
"You guys are so long? I got sleepy waiting for you to come" said Saka while yawning lazily.
"We have no business with you guys" the figure tried to remain calm.
"of course. But I have business with you. How dare you act in Tanica town, you rotten vampire!"
When the figures reached in front of them, Saka only realized that their auras were very different from human auras. Therefore, Saka asked the system to move them, and the results were very surprising. Since when were vampires in the realm of cultivators?
Surprise cannot be hidden by the figures. They retreated slowly, sensing the danger from the two youths they could not see the realm of his cultivation.
"Don't talk carelessly! There are no vampires in this universe." The figure tried to deny, but Saka only smiled obliquely.
"Oh, huh? Should I unmask you?" Simultaneously, Saka scratched his palm. The golden blood began to drip and displayed an odor that was many times sweeter to the vampires compared to the adult humans.
The few figures began to hold onto his throat as thirst struck. His gaze was inseparable from the golden blood Saka kept dripping onto the ground before disappearing somewhere.
Brakk!
Duagh!
The figure who had the lowest realm was not strong enough to resist temptation so it directly attacked Saka. However, Saka casually rubbed his palm until the wound disappeared before then delivering a crushing blow that sent the vampire crashing away with his chest sunken inward.
"Sweet, the blood is so sweet" muttered those figures who instantly lost control. Both of their fangs elongated and immediately attacked Saka impatiently. Facing five vampires was quite troublesome. Moreover, their strength and speed were higher despite being in the same realm.
Now Saka and the six vampires are fighting fiercely. They exchanged blows and occasionally Saka used his demonic finger technique and made holes in the bodies of the vampires which made them grow even more furious.
After thirty minutes, Saka's breathing started to go irregular. It turned out to be quite draining to keep up with the speed of the vampires. Because their speed is almost the same as when he uses teleportation. Wind steps can't even be compared.
"It's time to end the game" Saka said as she pulled out a god sword with a shiny white blade as it struck the moonlight.
The vampires retreated, realizing that the sword was made of silver, where silver was their greatest weakness. One of the figures moved quickly to escape followed by another figure. However, Saka would not allow that to happen. Using the techniques of Law, Space and Time, Saka stopped the time by ten seconds. Enough to kill them all.
Saka darted by teleportation and killed one by one leaving behind vampires who had the highest realm. Previously, he had bought a silver chain from the system and tied the vampire. As time returned, the surviving vampire felt his strength sealed and his skin slowly blistering.
Aarrgh!
