The Neglected Pearl
Part 146 Fire

“Why not report to the police, Pa?”

“Udah dear, Papa already reported, we only heard the news.”

“Then let Nurul and his son here first, until Riza is found,” Mirwan said.

“Yes, sir. I tipped them both, take good care of them.”

“Good, Sir,” replied Mirwan.

“Papa going to where?” nurul asked as Handoko left them.

“Papa want to go home.”

“Fear, Papa later why-why again?”

“Riza won't dare hurt her own Papa son.”

“That was pa, but I was so scared, that Riza would hurt Papa.”

“Temple, if later something happens with Papa, take good care of the company, keep Radit so that later he can become a reliable CEO.”

“Be careful Pa, take good care of yourself,” Nurul said with tears.

“Here, you with your son will be safe son.”

“But I'm afraid, that Riza will hurt Papa.”

“Udah, no need to worry Papa.”

“but, Pa.”

As the worry enveloped Nurul's thoughts, Handoko continued to leave the three of them at Mirwan's house.

That night when everyone was sleeping soundly, Riza calmly and casually stepped slowly towards the Dika's home, there must be a guard outside, but they didn't see when Riza came in.

Relaxed and calm, Riza burned, curtain rags, which covered the kitchen windows, the caretakers of the parlour then forgot to close the windows. After Riza set fire in the kitchen, Riza still had a moment to sit and watch the burning cloth.

When the fire began to grow and scorch the kitchen room, to spread to the nursery room, then Riza out of the parlour area. But unfortunately when Riza came out, the fire was getting bigger and could not be controlled anymore.

The two rooms of the lower room had been devoured by the red man with his dasyat, while the inhabitants of the parlour were still sleeping soundly.

When the fire had grown and thick smoke filled the room, two-year-old baby Tantri cried from shortness of breath, at that time Sinta, who was still there, the watchman woke up and saw the fire had burned on the side of Tantri's bed.

Sinta was startled and she screamed with all her might while shouting for help, a rowdy voice also started to be heard in the other rooms and other rooms as well.

Dika whose house is next to the home immediately ran out and opened the door of the home to save all the children trapped in it.

“Please! help u! please!”

The screams of the orphanage children sounded so boisterous, they all panicked and did not know where to go, while the fire in the basement was getting bigger.

When assisted by the caretakers and residents try to save the children of the home one by one, Dikan holds and takes the children out as much as he can, as well as away from the area of the home.

“Which way sir, is there still anyone trapped inside?”

“i don't know for sure and to make sure let's check every room.”

“Good, Sir.” replied the supervisor of the parlors and the residents simultaneously.

Amidst the intense flames and the puff of black smoke rising high, Dika and his aides toiled through every room, checking, after they make sure it turns out there are two lower rooms whose residents can no longer be saved.

“Where Sir?” ask a citizen.

“It looks like there are two rooms that have been burned and there are eight orphanage children in it.”

Two hours of fire devoured everything inside, including eight trapped parlors. Not long after the car came to help and the fire was extinguished after two hours.

Dika looked hysterical in front of everyone, not because of the loss he cried but eight people in the orphanage who could not save themselves, that is what he cried.

After the fire was extinguished, Dika immediately ran into the orphanage to check, the body of the orphanage burned.

Dika along with the caretakers tried to remove all the pieces of wood that fell from above, to see clearly how many children of the orphanage had died on the night of the incident.

After Dika entered both rooms, which he said eight people were trapped in, he found no one, Dika did not see the bodies of Tantri and other toddlers.

Dika looked a little smiling at that time, if he did not find anything suspicious, of course the children had been saved by someone.

Without thinking long, Dika immediately ran out and shouted calling the name of Bu Sinta.

Of the many orphanage children, no one answered Dika's call, all seemed to look at each other and tried to come looking for the person.

“Kids, have you guys seen Bu Sinta?”

“Ngak!”

“If Tantri, and Dela, are they with you?”

“No Sir!”

“No, so where are they, have they gone far, or are they still stuck inside? Oh, my God, please save them all.”

When Dika's heart was very worried about them all, one of the residents of the newly married home and got a house near the supermarket, reported to Dika that the eight people had survived.

“Alhamdulillah, right they have survived?”

“True, Sir. Currently they are all with us.”

“Oh, thank goodness.”

After Dika knew clearly, if Sinta, the supervisor of the home was safe, then Dika also invited all the children of the home, that night all the children slept in the hall of Dika's house, with his supervisors.

The morning after they all woke up, they were reminded of Nek Rodiah, the ninety-year-old resident of the parlor.

One of the orphanage children immediately came to Dika who was still sleeping soundly.

“Pak, wake up!” said the boy, trying to wake Dika who was soundly asleep.

“Hm, what's wrong baby, it's still morning, let's sleep again, here's the same Mr sleep!” take Dika to the little guy.

Even though Dika continued to invite her, Reno still tried to wake Dika, who was still so heavy as to open her eyes.

“What's the matter dear, why don't you sleep?”

“It's noon today sir, but Nek Rodiah wasn't with us this morning.”

“What, Nek Rodiah, is not with us?” yelled Dika surprised.

Seeing Dika surprised, all the children of the orphanage were also shocked, they all immediately stood up and ran towards the parlour following Dika from behind.

Amidst the rubble, the scattered ruins, Dika found Rodiah's chair, but there was no one in it, to be sure, Dika also checked the entire room of the home including the bathroom.

In the bathtub, Dika found Rodiah had stiff, the body of the old grandmother was lifted and brought Dika out. Seeing Dika bring Nek Rodiah out, all the children of the orphanage cried hysterically, because of Grandma Rodiah, a cute and kind grandmother.

“Grandpa! huhuhu,” lamented the orphanage when he saw the body of Nek Rodiah brought Dika out.
