"Where is Fatimah's mother?" ask Chantika lirih.

"Ehh.. Fatimah's mother is still on her way here! I called you!" reply Rendy lied.

"I where? What's with me?" ask Chantika again.

"You're in the hospital again. You have an accident when the day."

"Oohhh so yeah. But who are you? How come you're in this room with me?"

Rendy cuddled wildly while scratching her gatel-less head, confused looking for the right answer.

However, suddenly a woman in a white suit walks into Chantika's room, saving Rendy from her wife's questions.

"Good morning, sorry to interrupt for a moment" said the doctor with Airin's name. Looking at Chantika and Rendy alternately.

"Yes, Doc. Please if you want to check the patient's condition" Rendy invited Airin's doctor and two female nurses who followed from behind.

"Are there any complaints that Chantika feels?" ask your doctor after checking it.

"My head hurts, it hurts. Doc?" chantika replied while holding her head.

"That's natural, because Chantika's mother had injuries around her face and head. After a few days, the pain will gradually disappear." explained Dr. Airin.

Dr. Airin asked the nurse standing next to him to record the development of Chantika's condition.

After almost 10 minutes check the condition of Chantika. Dr. Airin and the two nurses came out of Chantika's room.

Now again, the two of them live in the white room.

His wife is in a state of mind. Chantika suffers from a disease that can make her mind stop for a moment and go back in time to remember only a few people. And the worst possibility of his wife would forget him, because the memory in Chantika's head would definitely not record his history of togetherness that was a lifetime of corn. This is what Rendy Suryodinata fears.

In the room of Dr. Airin. Rendy seriously inquired about his wife's health condition. Why doesn't Chantika recognize him, what's wrong with his wife's brain.

"How is my wife's current health, Doc? Why didn't he recognize me when he woke up from his coma? Is my wife having amnesia, Doc?" ask Rendy seriously.

"Physically, Chantika's condition has begun to improve. He only needs to recover for a few days here. However, it seems that there should be a further examination of his memory, as Mr. Rendy had just said,"

"Astagfirullah, so my wife really got amnesia, Doc?" Rendy was shocked and smothered her mouth in disbelief.

"Amnesia is the inability to remember events for a period of time, usually due to brain injury, illness, or the effects of drugs or alcohol. To be sure, we will conduct several examinations on patients. The nurse also took a blood sample of the patient for a blood test. Later we will also conduct tests through Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), computerized tomography (CT) and electroencephalogram (EEG) are needed to look for damage or brain abnormalities. While blood tests can check for infection, malnutrition or other things. Amnesia can be permanent if the brain has been injured" Dr. Airin said, looking at Rendy.

Based on the symptoms caused, amnesia can be divided into several types, namely:

* amnesia anterograde. In this condition, the patient will find it difficult to form new memories.

* Retrograde amnesia.

* Temporary global amnesia.

* Abtanile Amnesia.

"Then how's the cure, Doc?"

"The process of recovering from Amnesia takes time. How long it takes depends on the severity of the amnesia. For patients living with amnesia, some times it can be frustrating to be unable to remember anything. Likewise, family and friends will experience some difficulties when dealing with it"

"Although this does not mean that amnesia cannot heal or that lost memories cannot return. A lot of talking to other people, especially families or people who understand about his condition will go a long way towards restoring his memory. In addition, regular check-ups to the doctor also help the amnesia process heal. So, do not ignore if there is a plan or schedule to see a doctor."

"It can be cured depending on how it is diagnosed. The lighter the amnesia experienced, the chances of recovery will also be higher. Therefore, be sure to do a media check in order to get proper treatment."

"The more severe the cause, then the amnesia will take longer to heal. Memory loss usually consists of events or experiences in the past that are stored in short-term and long-term memory. The condition of memory loss or amnesia is widely experienced by those who get severe head injuries. In addition, some other causes of amnesia include having a stroke, dementia, diseases associated with the brain system to excessive alcohol consumption."

"Good, Doc. Please do your best for my wife" Rendy said expectantly.

Doctor Airin, nod. "We will try our best to help heal Mbak Chantika, but do not forget to pray also to ask the Creator," said Dr. Airin reminded.

"Good, thanks. Doc." said Rendy shaking hands and saying goodbye.

Footsteps were heard in the ear approaching Chantika's room. Rendy stood up to welcome the arrival of Fatimah's mother with Iin and also Lita, Chantika's favorite little girl.

Fatimah's mother hastily entered Chantika's room.

"Assalamu'alaikum, what really happened? Why did it happen like Chantika?" Fatimah's mother cried bitterly at Chantika's condition, now.

Rendy approached Fatimah's mother while embracing the frail body of the woman who loved Chantika like her own biological child.

"I'm sorry Rendy, Mommy! Who did not immediately inform about the situation of Chantika at that time to Mother Fatimah, because Rendy did not want to make Mother Fatimah worried" Rendy told Mother Fatimah.

"Mom doesn't want Chantika why-why, let alone having to lose her that fast. I won't be able to take Rendy! Only Chantika hope the only Mother," said Mother Fatimah continued to sob.

"Patience, Mom. Sorry if Rendy has neglected to look after him. Has disappointed Fatimah's mother."

Rendy told Fatimah's mother to sit on the brown sofa in the room.

Fatimah's mother rubbed her painful chest.

"It's all my fault, involving too much in Chantika for AZ-Zahra orphanage. Suppose he is not determined to make a decision that results in suffering for himself. It's not fair to Chantika. She's a good girl, willing to sacrifice her life for the sake of her brothers in the AZ-Zahra orphanage."

Chantika opened both her eyes, upon hearing the voice of someone she was waiting for. He turned his head and smiled seeing Fatimah's mother in his room.

"Mother Fatimah" called Chantika down.

"Chantika, dear. Are you awake?" ask Fatimah's mother to approach her.

"Who is Fatimah's mother here?"

"Mother came here with Iin and Lita" Mother Fatimah pointed towards the waiting sofa and was greeted with a smile by Iin and Lita.

"How are you doing, baby?" ask Fatimah's mother again while sitting in the chair next to the patient's bed Chantika.

"Alhamdulillah, it's much better, ma'am," Chantika replied smilingly as she called her beloved little girl to come closer to her.

Rendy took a long breath. "Did she really forget me as her husband? As for Fatimah's mother, Iin and Lita alone, she still remembered it clearly!"

Fatimah's mother fell silent. He could see the sorrowful look from the eyes of his son-in-law, which he tried to cover.

I'm sorry Rendy. Be patient because this is not a semester replay but a test of loyalty from a Chantika..

How would it feel if a steady playboy had to face his much loved wife having to lose her memory..

Will a Rendy Suryodinata remain loyal to the Goddess Chantiknya or will she be anchored to another heart? Check out the continuation of CHANDY..
