The Passion of Brother-in-law

The Passion of Brother-in-law
Ep 23s

Everyone gathered back to the meeting room. Waiting for the certainty of DM company. When their apology notification was received and the company did not cancel the cooperation, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. They are certainly grateful for not being fired by the ruler as well as the office owner.

"Next time don't make the same mistake again. Check all your work well before you get off the field. This happens to everyone. Especially the team leaders. Understood?" everybody nodded. Dian nodded half-heartedly. Moreover, Foster gave him a look as if he was the mastermind of all the mistakes that had happened.

Foster's gaze stopped on Mina. The girl kept her head down from now on, like she was unfocused, clearly attracting Foster's attention.

"All right, you can go home" Foster said. The others began to stand up one by one leaving the room. But Mina was still dumbstruck in her seat. I didn't realize people were gone. There was another Dian who seemed like he was still heavy going from there, he wanted to talk to Foster but the man did not glance at him at all, instead focusing on the apprentice named Mina. Dian doesn't like it much. The slap was not enough.

"You're not going?" Foster looked at Dian coldly. Want to not want Dian with a heavy heart to go from there. He glanced once more to Mina before moving on from there.

Laya, Mina, and Foster are left in the room.

"Laya, you go too. I'll take him home." said Foster to Laya. The man knew Laya and Iren were close friends. And of course this Mina is Foster's sister-in-law.

"alright. Then I go first." then Laya walks out.

Foster glanced back at Mina. Since the girl did not budge as well the man who approached, pulled up a chair and sat down next to Mina.

"Hey ..." soft Foster murmured. Mina may feel guilty for having made a mistake that almost cost the company. But for Foster it wasn't Mina's fault. The girl was just following the orders of the superior. The girl is still learning.

"You why? Look at me,"

there's no response yet. Foster's index finger touched Mina's chin, making the girl look at him. At that moment Mina fluttered and Foster could see a red mark on her cheek. The man's jaw is hardened, though,

"Who slapped you?" ask in a low voice. Mina did not reply, wanting to turn her face away from Foster but the man did not give her a chance.

"Answer I'm Mina." demanded it seriously. The man's heavy hands cupped his face.

"Nothing. I accidentally hit the wall of the toilet" Mina replied lying.

"Don't try to lie to me, I know it's a slap. Tell me who did it." Of course Foster doesn't believe it. Only a fool would believe the reason of the girl.

"What is Dian?" the man began to guess. Only that woman was the bravest. Very arrogant because he felt there was support from his mother. Dian thought, Foster will continue to obey his mother what? It won't. It used to be because his mother was very pushy then he wanted to give the woman a position in his office. But he will not hesitate to fire him if he dares to mess around, even to the point of disturbing his life with the girl he loves.

Mina's silence further makes Foster convinced that the one who slapped the girl was indeed Dian. He'll give the woman a calculation later. Now he will focus on entertaining his girl first.

"Let's stand up, I'll take you somewhere." then Foster gently pulled Mina's wrist out of that place. Mina did not refuse, she was also too tired with everything she had experienced all day.

Foster takes Mina to a playground that quite a lot of people visit, from children to adults. This place is more crowded at night. Mina who had bent her face started to smile. He really likes this place. As soon as he saw the girl coming back cheerful, Foster turned relieved. Looks like it was fitting that he brought the girl here.

"Likes?" tanyakanya. Mina turned to her and smiled excitedly, as if forgetting what she had just experienced.

"I want to ride it!" suddenly the girl changed like a child.

"You sure?" Foster was not even sure because what Mina pointed to was a roller coaster. But the girl nodded strongly. I don't want Foster to say it. For the sake of being able to restore the cheerfulness of her girl.

They also lined up tickets to take the ride. Foster's face look uncertain about the vehicle in front of him. The sight of people shouting hysterically made him grin strangely. Can Mina ride that? Roller coaster with super speed that man alone is not sure will be able to ride.

"You sure you want to ride this?" the man made sure once again, and again Mina nodded for sure. Foster resigned, then gave the ticket that had been purchased to the officer and then the officer directed them.

A few moments later ...

Hook ... Hook ...

Foster tried to suppress her nausea with Mina massaging her nape while holding back a laugh. This was the first time he had seen her brother-in-law helpless. Sure enough, the man was not afraid of anything, but riding a roller coaster he could not even afford. Mina continued to laugh as she recalled Foster's screams asking that her roller coaster quickly stop earlier while clinging firmly to her. Very amusing. If only he recorded his video, surely the business world can go viral.  Too bad he didn't get it.

It is fitting that the man did not ask repeatedly himself sure he wanted to ride the vehicle or not, know-know-knows kak Foster himself who is afraid. Mina again giggled. He forgot his sadness at the office, and the loud slap he received.

"Should've been honest brother Foster was afraid to ride a roller coaster, so I could choose another vehicle" said Mina suddenly made Foster turned his head, throwing a sharp look at him.  That guy wasn't as busy. Mina cleared her throat only to realize that she had spoken wrongly. The man must not have been told to be afraid. Hah, basic is not gentle. Afraid I am afraid.

"Mm, brother wait here for a moment. I want to buy something there." said Mina then ran quickly to a small shop near there.

Foster exhaled and sat on the bench of a small garden nearby. His eyes kept on Mina in front of him. It was obvious from her place that Mina bought a drink. Is that drink for him? Foster hopes yes.

"I buy warm tea, Brother Foster drink first so that the nausea is reduced." Mina brought back warm tea to relieve Foster's nausea. The man took it with pleasure. It was true that Mina bought him a drink. Attention also turned out to be this girl.

"Thank you. Because Brother Foster has comforted me tonight," muttered Mina softly, she now sits next to the man.

Hearing that, Foster stopped his drinking and looked at Mina with a strange grin.

"How do you thank me?"
