The Pawned Stud

The Pawned Stud
chapter 23

Miranda, still at home is on a small bridge that connects her husband's comfortable home and the road to the forest.

Under a bridge the size of a footpath, there was a river flowing with clear water.

Miranda, so lived the splashing sound of water underneath which there were black rocks, as well as the scenery that was so soothing to the eyes of the woman.

Without the woman realizing it, some people now set her in wonder. The man, just returned from the forest, to work in the fields.

4 People walked to the bridge. Their gazes were so alert, afraid that Miranda would do anything desperate.

"He who?" Ask a woman from the four men.

He was so clingy, looking at Miranda who looked pensive. "Somehow, maybe he wants to end his life" chirped another woman with a cynical look.

"Liliana, watch what you say. We'd better approach him and advise the woman" said a 57-year-old man.

"Why should I do it, he's none of my business." The woman named Liliana answered with her judges face.

The woman also passed Miranda just like that with a cynical look as well as piercing lips.

Luckily, Miranda had yet to realize the woman had stopped behind her body.

Liliana walked towards the house, where Hans entered.

Now the remaining three people are still silent, to monitor Miranda.

The middle-aged man, now walking over, then asked in a soft voice.

"Son!" The man cried in a soft voice. Now very close to Miranda, the two women of different ages behind him also stood by Miranda's side.

Miranda turned her face and she looked silent with a peeking gaze at the three people beside her.

"It's not nice for a beautiful woman like the lady herself in this place." The man said with a smile that continued to develop on the face.

Miranda still continued to look at the person beside her very closely, she was still silent with an invisible expression on the woman's face.

"You can stop by our hut, miss," interrupted the woman beside the man who reprimanded Miranda.

The woman was still silent, but she also recognized the three as the man headed towards the house that Hans had approached earlier.

Miranda guessed, the three were her husband's family.

"Let's brother, I'll help you to our hut!" Cute and sweet-faced girl. The girl is now behind Miranda's wheelchair and without Miranda's consent, the 18-year-old girl, pushes Miranda's wheelchair closer to their modest home.

"Hans!" The woman who is now standing behind the door is shocked to see a man in their residence.

Hans turned his body around and instantly the man's smile expanded perfectly.

"Aunt Liliana," Hans replied. The man immediately walked over to the woman who had the face of judes, who was Hans' aunt.

"Nephew, handsome aunt," she said with a seemingly happy face behind Hans's back, as the two hugged.

"Auntie, how are you?" Hans asked who immediately took off a hug and looked at the face of his sad looking lips.

"As you can see, aunty's situation is just like this and without changing one bit. Try we have a lot of treasures, surely we will not continue to live in this boring village." With a careless face, aunt Liliana let out her opinion of living in the village.

Hans could only smile, he already knew the character of his aunt who was so chatty and spoke with speech without understanding one's feelings first.

"Patience bi, one day we will live a quiet and comfortable life" said Hans, who answered his aunt's words by comforting her.

"Ck! I'm so sick of living like this" muttered the woman with lopsided lips.

"You're with your wooden lover?" Ask aunt Liliana suddenly. His face also changed, when he remembered his nephew's lover was a wealthy man.

"No! I'm with my wife" Hans replied in a soft tone as well smiling forcefully.

"What, you guys are married? So... Now I have a daughter-in-law of a city and rich woman? Oh my God, bless my nephew." Aunt Liliana was so enthusiastic that her face kept smiling.

"You know, your lover is so beautiful and perfect, she's a classy and graceful woman. You guys look so good." Aunt Liliana's chirps are back.

Hans could only smile, looking at the expectant face of his aunt. Who so wanted her to marry Rosella.

Her aunt always gave her support to keep getting Rosella's attention and to become a rich daughter-in-law.

"Where's your wife?" Aunt Liliana asked with an impatient face, turning around the house looking for the whereabouts of Hans' wife.

"Hans!" Shouted the woman who was Hans' mother who was now walking quickly, approaching her son.

"Mom" said Hans who moved also to hug the mother. Which he hadn't seen in a long time.

The two hugged each other to let go of longing for almost 1 year.

Aunt Liliana was so cynical about the scene, she disliked the mother Hans who looked more dominant in the house.
