Last Meeting

"Who are they, Mi?" asked Yongki, astonished.

Maya did not answer, her old eyes just stared at Hendra and Tia alternately.

"So, are you really Maya?" asked Hendra, affirming.

"Yes, I'm Maya. Who are you, son?"

"I'm Mr. Taufan's late son, you know him, right?" sahut Hendra with a serious face.

Maya flinched, she looked at Hendra more intensely.

"You guys ... His children Mas Taufan?" ask Maya as if she couldn't believe it.

Hendra and Tia did not answer.

"Can we sit here? I want to chat with you guys." asked Maya, expectantly.

"What do you want to obrolin with us?" Hendra hatch.

"Mi, who are they?" Yongki repeated his question.

"Yongki, these are the children of Mami's ex-husband." Maya said, explaining.

"Oh ..." - Yongki mangosteen - "Know, I'm Yongki" he said, extending a hand.

Hendra and Tia were silent for a moment, then looked at each other before finally wanting to shake Yongki's hand.

"Can we join here?" asked Yongki, kindly.

Hendra nodded with a nod, "Yes, please."

"Not too long." said Hendra, briefly.

"Why? Is your father sick?"

Hendra stared intently at Maya, his memories twisting again about those bitter memories.

"Yes, I'm sick." said Hendra, as necessary.

Their conversation was interrupted because a waitress came to deliver the food ordered by Hendra and Tia earlier.

"Oh yes Ma'am, I ordered all of you?" chirp Yongki on the waitress who was putting food and drinks owned by Hendra and Tia.

"Can, Mas." sahut the waitress.

Yongki mentions the food and drink he ordered for himself and the mother, later noted by the waitress.

"You're all grown up now, handsome and beautiful. Mas Taufan would be proud to see his children have grown up. And you, very similar to your father." praise Maya as she continues to look at the faces of Hendra and Tia.

Hendra turned his face away, he felt careless to be stared at by Maya. Although ... his gaze was like the gaze of a mother who was amazed at her son, but he felt uncomfortable because Maya was not his mother.

"I know you must be angry with me. You think of me as the destroyer of your parents' households, right? I have long actually wanted to visit your home, but .. my condition is only starting to be healthy now. It just so happens to meet you here." said Maya with a slightly vibrating voice.

"What do you want to our house? Want to see how your behavior works for our parents, then?"

"No, I just want to apologize to Mas Taufan's family."

Hendra just smiled cynically, he was already disappointed with what Maya did to his family, because Hendra was bigger and more understanding when the event happened, because, tia still did not understand at the time.

The food and drinks that Yongki ordered came, while Hendra and Tia had finished their food and drinks first.

"We'll excuse you" said Hendra, briefly rising from his seat.

"Wait, don't leave before you forgive me." Maya asked as she stared at Hendra and Tia.

Hendra snorted softly while turning his face, he seemed to still hold a deep disappointment.

Tia saw Maya, she felt her mind constantly struggling to forgive the old woman. The longer he saw Maya, he felt there was something he didn't know.

"Sister, sorry ... kasian." persuaded Tia while looking meaningfully at her brother.

Hendra momentarily returned the gaze of his sister, he knew if his sister was trying to convey something through the eyes, even though he did not know what it was.

"Yes, we forgive you, Miss Maya." said Hendra, trying sincerely.

"You want to forgive me sincerely?" ask Maya.

"Yes ..for now, honestly I am still trying to apologize to you sincerely, because I still can not completely forget your actions." said Hendra, not hypocritical.

"But we are sure that one day, we can forgive you sincerely, even though we may not be able to forget what happened" Tia said.

Maya looked at Tia in awe and gently rubbed the girl's arm saying, "Thank you, son?" maya's beads sparkle.

Tia smiled warmly, then nodded.

"Yes Dek, you go home?" bring Hendra.

Tia nodded, "Yuk?" sahutnya while reaching for her bag of canklong then tote her shopping bag.

"Be careful .." said Yongki.

Tia turned her head, then smiled and nodded. He walked back to the exit and went home.

"Mommy is calm now, because she has apologized to people who used to be disappointed" Maya chirped with a bright look and a fluffy smile.

Yongki was silent looking at his mama who looked happy but her face again looked a little pale.

"Mi, let's eat first? After eating we go straight home, right? Mami looks pale, Yongki does not want Mami tired." said Yongki.

Maya smiles and begins to eat a different food menu with the child.

At midnight, Tia dreams of meeting Maya again in a field. He saw the old woman wearing long white clothes, walking towards a direction.

Tia only looked at it from a distance of several meters without any communication. He continued to look at Maya who continued to go straight with certainty, alone.

Until the moment Maya had begun to move away from Tia's view, suddenly a white light that formed like a hallway appeared a few meters in front of Maya.

Tia flinched, she was confused when a light passage appeared on the boundless field.

Maya seemed to walk without hesitation towards that passageway. But before he actually entered the hallway of light, Maya had turned to look at Tia and smiled while nodding at Tia, as if she was saying goodbye.

Tia gasped, she just stood and stared at Maya's departure until her figure disappeared with the disappearance of the light passage.

Tia opened her eyes with a gasp of breath as if she had stopped breathing for a moment.

"Mrs Maya, she ..." muttered Tia on her breath who was still hunting.
