Chapter 5 - Yuichi Vs Sumiko

Yuichi and Sumiko were currently picking fruit in a forest. Sumiko is an elf who was helped by Yuichi a few days ago.

Yuichi picked green apples while Sumiko picked yellow grapes. They both plucked the fruits then returned to the cave.

After returning to the cave, they ate the fruits they had picked. Sumiko ate voraciously.

After they finished eating, the two of them went to a room. The room was quite spacious, there were many weapons made of wood and stone.

"Let's continue training last night" said Yuichi.

"All right!!!" answer Sumiko.

Sumiko took out two wooden swords then threw one of the wooden swords towards Yuichi.

Sumiko then put up a horse while Yuichi just sat still.

"Sea Splitting Techniques, First Style" Sumiko said.

Sumiko flowed her sword with mana, then she advanced towards Yuichi and slashed at him but was held back by Yuichi.

"Sea Splitting Techniques, Second Style" Sumiko said.

Sumiko attacked Yuichi with 5 slashes from different directions. The sword move from Sumiko was like she was dancing.

Yuichi resisted two slash attacks and dodged the other attack. Yuichi then dines a horse. Sumiko who saw that also put up the horses.

"Sea Splitting Techniques, Third Style" they said in unison.

They dented the attack in the form of slashes that were attacked from various directions 13 times. They cut each other out. They both danced with their swords.

"You've gotten stronger Sumiko. Last night you could only hold 5 slashes of my sword but today you can hold 9 slashes of my sword" said Yuichi who was praising Sumiko.

Sumiko who heard the praise from Yuichi smiled. "It's thanks to you too, Mr. Yuichi."

Yuichi then gives a blue oval shaped fruit known as mana recovery fruit. As the name implies, this fruit can restore mana.

Sumiko received the fruit from Yuichi's hand. They both ate the fruit and then continued the exercise.

"Alright, now I will teach you the Sea-Splitting Technique, Fourth Style" Yuichi said.

Sumiko who heard nodded. He was always serious when Yuichi wanted to teach him something.

"The Fourth Style is not too different from the third style, you only need to slash 15 times from various directions and you have to stab quickly once after you finish slashing" said Yuichi.

Sumiko tilted her head to the side as she did not really understand what Yuichi was saying. Yuichi who saw Sumiko still did not understand taking her sword to practice it directly.

"Sea Splitting Techniques, Fourth Style" Yuichi said.

Yuichi slashed 15 times while moving. Yuichi looks like he's dancing. Sumiko who saw that was amazed because this was the most beautiful technique she had ever seen.

After finishing making 15 slashes, Yuichi pierced quickly.Suddenly the wind blew towards the cave wall, and the cave wall cracked slightly.

Sumiko was stunned because the distance between Yuichi and the cave wall was 10 meters. It was a great distance for a swordsman who was at the Mortal Core realm.

Sumiko was made even more eager to learn more about the Sea Splitting Technique. Sumiko tried the technique but failed. Sumiko tried more than a hundred times to successfully master the technique even though it was not perfect yet.
