The Prince's Revenge

The Prince's Revenge
28: Silence

Hearing Mysha's voice that sounded panicked, the two men who had been swept away in a dark atmosphere were immediately resuscitated. The two of them looked at each other, as if trying to ask how they should face Mysha if she saw their situation at that time.

Frederick took the initiative to get up and stand up. He then tidied up his clothes before starting to walk towards the door.

While Egon, for a while he was silent while staring at the knife in his hand. Only then did he get up and put the knife in his pants pocket.

Before Frederick opened the door, he turned around to make sure Egon was in a non-suspicious condition. As soon as Egon signaled that he was okay, Frederick opened the door, “Hai, Mysha.”

“What is Egon?” Mysha asked in a gasping voice.

Hearing Egon's name first mentioned, Frederick smiled wryly. “It's inside,” the answer is short.

Frederick asked Mysha to come in and meet Egon.

Without seeming to worry about Frederick at all, Mysha passed by him and immediately looked for the figure of the man she was looking forward to.

“Egon!” As soon as he saw Egon leaning against a wall, Mysha approached him.

Mysha observed Egon's face and movements, but she still looked like an ordinary Egon. He turned his eyes to the man who was approaching from the door. The man looked a little messy than usual, but, judging from how Frederick still smiled at him, Mysha thought that the two of them still hadn't talked about anything.

He thought it was coming at the right time.

However, the chair lying in a position that should not, certainly managed to make Mysha realize that what she thought was a mistake.

Something had happened between the two of them and one of them no one had started to explain anything to him.

Mysha's eyes started to tremble. He doesn't know what to say now.

Both men are the same. Not a word came out of their mouths. Only the sound of rain and thunder filled the side of the room.

Mysha glanced at Egon. Egon looked back at him.

“We have to go home,” Mysha said carefully.

“You stay together?” Frederick asked without hesitation.

“Ah, the—,”

“Can we permission to leave first?” Egon cut Mysha's answer. Too much risk to bear if they talk more there.

“Ah, yes,” without Egon need to explain, Frederick understood. He also tried not to involve Mysha too much with the problems of both of them.

In any case, Mysha and Anastasia were supposed to be the same person. Merely, the two men saw no signs that Mysha recognized herself all along other than Egon who knew that Mysha had several dreams about Anastasia.

And until now, they had not realized that Mysha had gained all her memories, both about her own Anastasi and about the lives of the three of them.

“It looks like the rain will not stop anytime soon,” Frederick prevents Egon and Mysha from going out. “Let me take you,” Next.

Egon and Mysha stared at each other for a while. “Thank you, but. can you take us only until the bus stop?” Ask Mysha.

“Not a problem,” Frederick answered it casually.

After Frederick had taken the keys to his car, the three of them made their way to the basement of Frederick's apartment. No one started to talk again during the trip and without feeling, they finally arrived at the bus stop.

“Egon,” Frederick called Egon before he got out of his car.

“You understand right?” Ask.

Egon nodded and closed the door of his car.

What should he tell you about Anastasia?

How much does he know about himself?

What did Frederick tell you?

And most importantly.

He wanted to know, which part is wrong?

Of course, the part of Egon that could not be honest and communicate everything well was the biggest mistake.

But after that?

Again, without being able to speak a word, Mysha simply stared at Egon silently.

The look on his face that did not show any expression, made Mysha know that this was Egon who was called the prince of darkness.

The green eyes that were supposed to sparkle with the reflection of light, looked dark covered in a shadow of sadness.

Mysha wanted to hear everything from the prince's mouth, with nothing to cover up anymore.

Unknowingly, Mysha's hand was gently grasping Egon's fingers.

And unexpectedly, Egon was fond of the tiny hands.

Time passes quickly. It was as if time had been bewitched for them not to realize how long it had taken them to get to the building where they lived.

Now the two of them were standing at Mysha's door. After Mysha opened the door and entered, Egon said goodbye to return to his room.

“See you later,” said Egon still with a hard-to-guess expression.

“Hmm. yes,” Mysha replied limp.

He is upset that he can't be honest that he wants to keep Egon there and make him talk about their problems.

Egon began to step away.

Mysha looked at Egon's beautifully formed back even while covered in her clothes. Should he be patient until Egon talks about it first?

But, this was not just Egon's problem, it was his problem as well.

And again, the feeling of being stuck if he let Egon go is what?

Mysha clenched her hands tightly, burying her embarrassment to be selfish.

“Egon,” Mysha called him.

Egon turned his body to look at the girl who was still near his door.

“Will you spend the night here?”
