As planned, Laura went to the U. S. company to meet with Alexander to apologize for the news.

Early in the morning, Laura was already preparing to wear her best clothes. She wanted to look more beautiful than usual. At least he wanted to show everyone if the news did not make him slump or annoyed. Because she was convinced by Alexander's confession at the press conference at that time made the public assume that she was a sad woman who lost before the war.

"Perfects." Laura looked at herself in front of the mirror. She smeared a little lipstick on her lips and smiled happily because today she was able to meet Alexander.

He picked up his expensive bag and walked out of the room. He looked at his watch which was already showing at eight in the morning. That means they must have arrived at the company.

Laura drives her car at a moderate speed. He had seen on social media if the news about him and Alexander had disappeared like in the swallow of the earth.

He was sure it was Alexander. But it doesn't matter. He just wants to straighten it out. And hope to gain Alexander's trust.

The car that Laura was driving was perfectly parked in front of the U. S. company Corp. He got out of the car and got into the company.

As usual he went to the receptionist and asked where Alexander was. After obtaining permission, Laura headed straight to the man's room.

"Get in!!"

Laura sighed and opened the door after getting permission from the owner. "Good morning." said Laura

"Laura!!" Alice approached Laura and hugged her. "How are you?" ask Alice

"I'm not good. All because of the news spread on social media. But after I saw that the news had disappeared, I felt a little relieved." Laura looked at Alexander and again said, "I know it's all you've done. Thank you so much Lex" he said

"No need to thank. I did it because I was not comfortable with the news myself." - Alexander

"Yes, you're right. I came here to apologize to you for the news." Laura looked at Alice and clasped her hands. "You have to trust me. Me and Alexander are just friends."

"Because I know that Alexander likes you." Laura rolled her eyes teasing Alice.

"La_laura!! Ja_don't talk carelessly." Alice's face flushed red like a boiled crab got the temptation from Laura. He remembered their hot kiss yesterday. Luckily Aaron arrived on time. If you don't know what's going to happen. He might lose control.

But still, he was embarrassed to meet Aaron. It felt like he wanted to hide his face in the ant hole.

"Why is your face red?" tease Laura

"Stop teasing her, Laura. Maybe she won't come out because she's embarrassed." Alexander chimed in

"Stop teasing me!!" shouted Alice.

Instead of being angry, Alexander laughed. And it made Laura feel happy because this was the first time she had seen Alexander laugh.

That guy looks so handsome. And his desire to get the man grew even greater.

"You're really good-looking if you laugh like that, Lex. But unfortunately your only laugh was for Alice. Do I have to get rid of her first so you can show me that laugh?" inner Laura. He silently clenched his hands furiously remembering if his plan failed. He received a sadistic rejection from Alexander

"If you weren't Sam's best friend, I would've asked Sean to eliminate you. But without Sam, my plan wouldn't work. For that I will forgive you, Alice." she said in her heart

They started talking to women. Alexander did his job.

Laura made Alice comfortable with him. She even invited Alice to go shopping.

"Emmm.. Lex, can I come with Laura? We want to shop." exclaimed Alice

"No!!"

"Sorry Alice. For now I don't let you go anywhere." Alexander said

"Kc... You're a bitch." Alice grumbled

"It's okay, Alice. We can go another time. Maybe Alexander is worried about you because of the news. Maybe Alexander can muffle the news in cyberspace. But not in human memory. So next time we go shopping together" Laura said

"No problem. Then I'll go first. I still have meetings with clients."

"Be careful on the road!! Come here often!!" exclaim Alice

Laura smiled and walked out of Alexander's room. "Of course I'll see you more often, Alice. Because I don't want this plan to fail. So get ready!!" laura's Smirk
