A little girl rubbed her eyes, and she saw a narrow room that housed several small children. The room was like a cage made of iron, the outside was covered with a white cloth. The pain slowly crept through his head, the narrow room suddenly swayed and was accompanied by the clattering of horse footsteps.

“You're aware? I was in a panic when you were unconscious, your body was as cold as a dead man.” The girl beside him spoke while helping him sit down and giving him a little bun.

Glanced at the girl beside him, with her head still dizzy, he took the little bun and divided it into two, “thank you and this is for you... I'm sure you haven't eaten either.”

The two little children devoured the bread to the point that it was left, the two of them even to the point of ignoring the other little ones.

“Lei Hu, you alone?”

“A... L'm... I don't know what my name is,” he's getting his head grimacing in pain, fresh blood still dripping from his head. His clothes were shabby and worn, his little face covered with dirt in various places.

Silence, no questions were raised from Lei Hu's mouth. Seen some girls cry as much as they can, there are also children who show expressions of excessive fear.

The sound of an iron cage being hit from outside, “silence!! Or I'll kill you right now!!” Some children immediately closed their lips tightly, in contrast to the girl beside Lei Hu.

Want me to cry until the blood comes out though, they still won't care and it doesn't change the situation.” Lei Hu pointed at all the little children around him, “we are all victims of war... Huo Empire attacked Lei kingdom, while Lei Kingdom itself was part of Shan Empire. What is more worrying is that the Shan Empire personally does not know that its territory has been invaded, whereas our Empire has war generals who are very meticulous in this regard.”

The boy was speechless, “..”

Just one word, conspiracy! There can't be a blind Emperor and Minister, right?

^^^[1] Jiejie \= older sister. Used by biological or adopted younger siblings, cousins of the same generation on the side of the same father, wife and husband's concubine, close friends.^^^

The shocks to the iron cage slowly came to a halt, the white cloth covering the cage was violently opened, the sunlight shone on the iron cage, some children began to squint with glare. The darkness that had been friends for some days in the fear of the little ones, had now disappeared, changing with the view of the expanse of towering mountains.

Don't be fooled by that sight!

Behind its beauty, there was a vast expanse of vacant land, some people wearing royal clothes were surrounding the land, no doubt, it was a killing field! How not a massacre? In the middle of the field there was a large cage containing dozens of wild wolves, if released, it was certain that the wolves would tear apart and eat human flesh with a grim.

Instantly everyone who heard it prostrated, their heads even touched the ground. There were some little children who did not want to prostrate, they were approached by Imperial soldiers, banging the heads of some small children hard to the ground, as well as a small child wearing a headband.

One by one, the girls and boys were forced to enter the field arena. A twelve-year-old girl approached the child beside Lei Hu, she held his hands and head, “Yue Liang Zhi your head why? Did they hurt you? I've been looking for you since, I'm worried about you,” he said frantically while twirling the body of the girl in front of him.

“Yue Liang Zhi? Who'sis that? And who are you?”

“I jiejiemu Bai Yun... Why don't you remember, is it because your head has been bumped?” The question is getting panicked.

“Jiejie?” A black glint began to cross, the sound of a boy calling him by a foreign name, 'brother Arista, I love you.' Lux told a beautiful girl in front of him.

'Who is Arista and who is Lux? Aaagghh... My head was dizzy once, Yue Liang Zhi held her head tightly, her eyes closed withstanding the dizziness.

“Yue'er kau—” Bai Yun's words were cut off when one of the soldiers forcefully pulled him.

Yue Liang Zhi wanted to extend a hand to help her brother, because her hand was too short, she only reached for empty air. When he turned his head, he saw Lei Hu who was in a similar condition, the difference was that Bai Yun showed an annoyed expression and Lei Hu showed an unstoppable expression of anger. Yue Liang Zhi stepped on her small legs to catch up, but the soldier violently pushed her back.

His little ass smelled the ground, he swore he could feel some rocks piercing that innocent ass.

Dozens of children were now in the middle of the field, the cries of the Princes and Daughters of the Huo Empire resounded making the fur crouching. Many children who get insulted because it comes from the booty area, looks very deep fear face printed clearly. The cage containing wolves was opened by imperial soldiers, the wolf immediately jumped and displayed its savage side.

The wolves opened their mouths wide, they saw fangs drooling from hunger, without command, all the children in the field immediately ran away, no less missed the wolf came running after them. Thought Yue Liang Zhi as she clenched her hands, her eyes were now fixed on Bai Yun and Lei Hu, looking at the two of them who were running overwhelmed, Anger slowly flared in her heart, his ears were currently overheated from hearing the cry for help that was ignored, 'I have to help them...'
