The Rebirth of an Immortal Cultivator

The Rebirth of an Immortal Cultivator
Chapter 84: The Problem

Mo Lian who was already inside her room room immediately sat on the sofa. He put the wooden box he won for 50 million Yuan, a fairly cheap price given the scarcity of materials on Earth.

Mo Lian took out a sword from inside the wooden box, she looked at him intently. "This sword, should not be on Earth if it remembers its materials, methods, and strength. This sword, it must be the sword that was once used by the Natural and Human Dao realm Cultivators," he said slightly in disbelief.

He put his sword back on the table. With both elbows resting on his thighs and chin resting on both hands cupped. Mo Lian again observed the sword that was on the table. "Did thousands of years ago on Earth there exist Natural and Human Dao realm Cultivators? It might even be higher, if so ..."

Mo Lian paused for a moment, then continued her words, "At that time the aura of the Earth was very abundant, and had very high techniques. Why is it so weak today?"

Mo Lian thought it would be very unlikely that cultivators in this era would have below average strength if in ancient times there was a method that could make high-level weapons. "Unless, there are treasures of the earth and sky, which resulted in wars between cultivators and the killing of countless people. Then due to a certain incident, the spiritual energy becomes very thin, or ..."

"A long time ago there was also a Cultivator from another star who came to Earth and killed most of the Fighters, as well as destroyed all the techniques available."

He let out a long sigh, he was not too willing to think about the uncertain truth. Without lingering any longer, he slashed his index finger and dripped his blood on the broken sword surface.

When Mo Lian's blood dripped on the sword's surface, the sword trembled and suddenly the light within this room disappeared like it was swallowed by darkness. Until a few minutes later, when the light was again visible, the broken sword that was on the table displayed a change.

The rust stuck to the surface of the sword had already disappeared and was no longer visible, even the marks had disappeared like they had been swallowed by a black hole.

"It! It wasn't very obvious, but when the rust had disappeared. I finally found out if this sword is at the Heavenly level, but since it is incomplete, it can only bring out half of its power. Yet this was enough to kill a Natural and Human realm Cultivator." Mo Lian slightly widened her eyes.

Even though he once had a higher-level weapon and had even made one. But of course this sword is very rare if on Earth. Even the sword belonging to the Chief of the Dragon Taring Force and the Huaxia Martial Alliance was only at Yellow level, it was half finished.

Mo Lian smiled, he put the broken sword into the wooden box, and then stored it in the Space Ring.

Day Night

Mo Lian was walking alone in Beijing City before tomorrow she would return to Chengdu City. He went to the dining place which was in a fairly large alley, although it was said that, but it could actually be passed by five cars running next to each other, he said, there are a lot of roadside shops that are still not closed even though it is quite night.

Without lingering any longer, Mo Lian walked into the alley and sat down at the front desk of the shop which was to the left of the street and number four from the front of the alley.

Mo Lian raised her hand. "Auntie, I ordered one bottle of soju, one tray of jiaozi."

"Good." The middle-aged woman wearing a light blue short-sleeved shirt, dressed in a long black trouser and wearing an apron lowered her head, then turned around to take the order.

A dozen minutes later, the middle-aged woman returned with a tray on top of which was Mo Lian's order. "This, Sir. Please enjoy," he said slightly bowed his body then turned back.

"Thank you." Mo Lian nodded small.

Mo Lian ate the food quietly and happily, for a very long time she had not eaten food like this. Since his finances changed, he always ate food made from expensive materials. But if you recall the times when he was difficult, he also did not eat too often like this.

In just a matter of minutes, Mo Lian had already finished all the food that was on the table. He again raised his hand to order, but only half raised, suddenly a loud noise that attracted everyone's attention.

Brak!

Mo Lian turned her head towards the noise. Looking at the six branded-clothed youths who were watering the middle-aged woman who was sitting on the ground with soju, the middle-aged woman was the owner of this tavern.

"Mother!"

There was a loud scream coming from the entrance of the shop. It looks like a young woman with long black hair on her waist and tied to a horse, wearing a short-sleeved white T-shirt and wearing a flower skirt on her knees in blue. For her own age, the woman has an age of 16 years.

Mo Lian who saw that was silent and frowned, she had often seen this cliche in the novels and manhua she read. "After this, there should be someone protecting the woman" he said with a small nod.

"Uhukis. It's a shame, it's because Fefei is always in this style in front of me." Mo Lian stood up, he confirmed his standing position and walked over to the six young men.

Mo Lian walked with confidence, yet she had just walked for a few steps. Suddenly he stopped his footsteps when he saw what was happening before his eyes, there was an old man with long white hair stopping the six young men.

The old man was wearing traditional Chinese clothes in grey.

"Old man! Do you want to die? Move over!" shouted the young man whose hand was grasped by the old man.

The unnamed old man opened his eyes. "Hohoo. This is how young people today behave toward older people."

"Berisi—" The young man swung the bottle he was holding towards the old man's head.

The old man did not stay still, at a speed that could not be seen by the eyes. The old man moved very quickly and slammed the young man to the ground.

This incident was very fast, making everyone present including the six youths could only fall silent not understanding what was happening. But different from Mo Lian's point of view, the movement was very, very slow.

Mo Lian frowned. "It looks like I've met that guy, but where?" tanyanya alone while touching her chin. He was silent for a moment trying to remember, but in just a matter of seconds, he shrugged both of his shoulders giving up on recalling the old man.

Mo Lian shook his head slowly, he reached into his pocket of pants to spend money with the amount of 500 Yuan and placed it under the soju bottle, soju, he raised his hand to signal the middle-aged woman who was still sitting on the ground. Then get away from the scene.

Mo Lian walked out of the alley, but she did not return to the hotel where she had rented a room, but instead went to a quiet place where there were no surveillance cameras at all. Not without reason he went to a lonely place, it was because from the beginning he went out of the hotel to the tavern, he always felt if someone was watching him.

A dozen minutes later, he had already arrived at a fairly quiet place without lighting. He stopped his footsteps. "Old man, isn't it time for you to come out? I know you followed me from the tavern just after you taught six young men a lesson."

Taps... Taps... Taps...

There were footsteps from behind Mo Lian.

"I didn't think you'd be aware of my existence. Looks like you have a little ability" said the white-haired old man wearing traditional Chinese clothes.

Mo Lian turned around, she stared intently at the old man. "What do you want?"

"Hohoo. Young people today love to be hasty." The old man chuckled small with a smile. A few seconds later his facial expression changed and stared intently at Mo Lian's face with killing intent coming out of it. "Give me the broken sword you got at the auction!"

An auction? Mo Lian looked back at the face of the old man who until now she did not know his name. "ah! You are an old man who competes with me for a sword" he said, hitting his own palm.

"So. How's it?" The old man smiled again.

Mo Lian smiled gently back at that smile, but the next second she stared intently at the old man. "What if I say no?"

The old man kept smiling, he raised his right hand with an open palm as if giving a cue. Suddenly there was a movement from the top of the tree around, there were dozens of people wearing black clothes with face coverings.

"It is only death that awaits you!"

"Oho?" Mo Lian raised her next to her eyebrows. He drained his spiritual energy on the Space Ring, then took out the broken sword in his right hand. "I found a suitable material to raise my sword! Time to eat!"
