Chapter 4: the:
「 Server Amy 」
Maybe it's too much for the people of this world, Callian thought.
Callian had been waiting for more than an hour, waiting for Unmei to absorb the technique he had transferred to him. But until now there is still no sign that Unmei looks to be soon to finish it.
His little body was already feeling sleepy and exhausted. Unknowingly she also fell asleep leaning against a rock, she did not even realize when the woman brought by Unmei had awakened and Unmei had completed absorbing the technique she had transferred.
Unmei, who was already conscious, felt that there was a very significant difference with her current body. One thing was certain, he felt much stronger than before. Seeing the woman he had kidnapped from the city guard soldiers had realized, Unmei immediately approached her without realizing Callian who was asleep leaning against a rock.
"Don't be afraid, we are brothers." Unmei told the woman to try to calm the woman who looked frightened while showing her hair and pupils.
"Have you saved me?." Ask the woman to Unmei. He felt calmer when he learned that the Unmei was also one of the Plahms.
Unmei. "What's your name?. And how did you get caught by a human?." Ask Unmei.
The woman, with her hands trembling in fear, forced herself to stay strong and told Unmei what she had been through.
"At that time we were looking for food in the forest, which was close to our hiding place. But there was a hunter who happened to be hunting there, after realizing our whereabouts he immediately brought more hunters. I'm the only one who survived...." He told me this without being able to help him not to cry.
His family had been killed in front of him, and he could still clearly remember the incident.
Unmei immediately hugged him, trying to calm him down. And from the bottom of his heart, he could also feel the sadness experienced by the woman. The sound of crying made Callian wake up, he was a little surprised when he heard the conversation of the two of them.
There may indeed be something different that distinguishes between the Plahms and humans. Callian just thought about it now.
"If you have nowhere to go, come with me. We built a small hidden village, and there are many other brothers." Unmei.
The woman nodded her head in response to agree. Before bringing the woman to their hiding place, Unmei first discussed it with Callian.
"Master, I want to take him to our hiding village. What about you, sir?." Unmei asked politely as she spoke to Callian after realizing how valuable the techniques and methods she had obtained from him were.
"Stop calling me that, you're making me look like I'm older than you right now." Callian. He was uncomfortable with the call of Master he got from Unmei.
"Sorry?, aren't you currently undercover?." The word Unmei which became confused with the meaning of the word Callian.
"Haa?!. What's undercover?, this is my real body!." Callian.
Again, Unmei was surprised. This person before him had shocked him so much just overnight, he who still looked less than 15 years old had possessed immense strength and possessed wisdom beyond his years.
Unmei could not imagine what the child in front of him would be in the future.
"Finish your business first, and don't forget to practice. Two weeks later at this place, at night, we'll meet again here." Callian said before walking away from Unmei.
"What should I call you?." Ask Unmei.
Callian immediately stopped walking for a moment, he turned his head back and said. "As far as you are, yet I don't like calling like a master." With a flat face.
Unmei nodded her head as a sign of understanding. "Then I will call you Master, do you not mind that?." Ask Unmei.
It instantly reminded Callian of his peers and students, who used to call him by the call of Master. Callian just waved his hand in response, as a sign that he didn't mind.
"Good Master, see you again." Said Unmei while looking at Callian's back which was getting further and further away.
Callian is well aware of people like Unmei who have a strong determination and thirst for strength in the eyes of his, which is his, he would never betray her if she was well aware of what she had been given and the changes she had received. Callian therefore only ordered Unmei to meet again at this place in the next two weeks.
Callian re-entered the city using a secret passageway used by Unmei, lucky he immediately found an inn because his body was not strong enough to stay awake. Although it was not a Dutchy inn, Callian still entered the inn and immediately intended to book a room.
But unfortunately he did not find any people seen in this inn. So he sat down and fell asleep. Until finally the daughter of the inn owner who was washing, surprised by its existence.
"This kid looks so exhausted, I didn't have the heart to wake him. But if he sleeps here, he'll catch a cold." He said before taking the blanket and enveloping Callian without waking him up.
**
When the sun still has not risen and shows its light. Callian who had woken up from his sleep was surprised to see a blanket covering his body, he really lost his vigilance because he could not feel it due to not being able to fight his current body.
As a thank you, Callian left two gold coins on the table where he fell asleep before leaving the inn.
The goal now remains the same, namely to find an inn called Dutchy to meet the servants of the Axell family. But in the midst of his search, he saw a bookstore that was preparing to open their store.
Callian, who is self-aware and lacking information about his current world, decides to come to the store. He was greeted warmly by the middle-aged man who seemed to be the owner of this bookstore.
"Welcome. Very early in the morning son you came to this place, is there anything you need?." Asked the middle-aged man kindly.
"Some, wait a minute let me pick it up first." Said the middle-aged man.
While waiting for the middle-aged man to bring the book he wanted, Callian waited for him while looking through the other books. And a few minutes later, the middle-aged man finally returned with two books in his hand.
"Both of these books are books that describe every race that exists on every continent." Obviously the middle-aged man.
"How much for both?." Ask Callian.
With a surprised look on his face after hearing the words of the little boy in front of him, he immediately answered the question with a question.
"Do you intend to buy it?."
"Yes. Is the book not for sale?."
"No, the books here are all for sale. I'm just surprised, usually people come here just to borrow and not to buy." Obviously the middle-aged man told Callian.
In the end Callian bought both books with two other books that contain the history of this world and the various kinds of Flora, Fauna in this world. In an instant Callian spent two hundred gold coins, because the one book he bought was worth fifty more gold coins. Indicates that books and papers in this world are very high value because of their rarity.
"Thank you, if there's another book you need, don't forget to come here again." He said with a big smile because he had gained a big customer while driving his departure from his store.
Outside the city atmosphere became more crowded because people began to do their activities and work, Callian also asked a child who passed by him where the Dutchy inn was located. Since the boy had brought him to the inn, Callian immediately gave him one silver coin.
"Thank you brother" said the boy in thanks before running away from Callian.
Meanwhile Callian immediately walked into the inn and immediately approached a woman who was sweeping the floor.
"Sorry, is there a woman here named Amy who rented a room?." Ask Callian.
Not yet had the woman answered Callian's question, a brown-haired woman wearing maid clothes immediately descended from the second floor and came to Callian.
"Young master Ian?!. Why is the young master here?." Asked the brown-haired woman with a confused face. She is Amy one of the servants who works at the Axell family home.
"Am I not allowed to be here?." Ask Callian.
"Bu-not that.."
The two of them went straight up to the second floor and into the room room rented by Amy, where Callian immediately tidied up his luggage and began reading the book he bought.
"Amys. Can you tell me about the current state of the family?." Callian said without looking at Amy as her eyes were fixed on the book she was holding.
"That's.." Amy's like a little pressured to say it. But in the end Amy kept telling Callian.
"Everything started two months ago when one of the miners found another iron mine near Purma.
Legally, the mine is still included in the territory of the Axell family, but the Purma family claims the mine is within their territory.
The trouble grew when Count Purma took down his troops and injured some miners who happened to be looking at the mine. After they had taken control of the mine, they also blocked access roads leading to the capital to prevent the head of the family from asking for help from the mercenaries in the capital. Before I came to the capital by sneaking around, I saw Count Purma's army was making preparations for war." Obviously Amy.
Thanks to Amy Callian getting more information about her current family situation. Although it is likely that war between regions could occur, but Count Purma would not dare to attack the Axell family directly considering the Axell family is the economic giant of the southern region.
"Amy, tomorrow we'll get the hell out of here. Because there's something I need to look for." Callian was clear after Amy finished her story.
"Good young master." The answer. The highlight of his eyes could not be separated from staring at the face of Callian who was focusing on reading books, it made him a little amazed by the focus he had when reading books and listening to his story.
"What's up Amy?." Callian asked because he realized Amy was staring at him.
Amy shook her head with a smile she said, "There is no young master, it's just that I feel young master Ian has changed a lot since the last time we met. People at home will be very happy with your current changes." Obviously Amy while smiling haru because happy.
Because after all he was the servant who spent the most time with him when at the Axell residence, and oversaw Callian's every growth from year to year.
"Maybe it's because of my one-year life in the academy." Callian replies looking for an excuse, because however the people closest to him like Amy, would be very surprised by her change.
"I think so too. Did you, too, get a friend in the Academy?." Ask Amy.
Callian immediately stopped reading, because after all his one-year life in the academy was only filled with bullying. How could he possibly get and have a friend. Yet he suddenly remembered the blond girl climbing the academy wall with him.
Maybe I can call him a friend.
After some thought, Callian immediately answered Amy's question.
"Yes, I have it."
It was the answer and the words that Amy had been looking forward to. And everything became clearer, Amy thought that maybe the big change that happened in Callian was because of the existence of the figure she called as a friend.
