Chapter 12

Karina looked up at the night sky from inside the plane. He decided to return to his country without his best friend.

Karina felt hesitant to constantly have to trouble Josephine.

"I hope that my decision is right." - Karina, before closing her eyes, wading through the dream.

While a man sitting not far away from her was smiling with relief at the woman's calm face.

"Do you need anything, Sir?" a beautiful flight attendant approached her.

"I need a blanket and a pillow." said the man with a flat face.

"Okay, I'll get it ready."

The flight attendant stepped back from there. He returned with a pillow and blanket that the man had asked for.

The man stood up from his seat and stepped over Karina.

"I hope you're happy.'

The man left a sweet kiss at the top of the girl's head for a moment. Until he sat back in his chair.

A few hours later

The plane carrying Karina landed in Japan. This meant that Karina had to move to another plane. Because the plane he was boarding will transit in the country and return to Indonesia.

The man looked at Karina's back which was progressively disappearing from his sight.

"Master, it's time we go back" said another man.

The man called the master then continued his steps out of the airport. He intends to meet someone for a while and then continue back to his country.

Ten years later

"It turns out time is very fast passing." Karina muttered with a faint smile touching the snow falling from the sky.

"Today is the ninth time I've been through winter with my little family" he said, smiling warmly at three young children playing snowball in front of their home.

"Oscars! Come on, the snowball sheet's coming at me!" a 9-year-old girl shouted to a boy her age.

"I am a real man! I don't want to hurt my sister. The weather is getting colder. We better get inside the house. I'm afraid Madre's mad because we've been out for too long." Oscar just left his sister.

While another boy his age smiled warmly at his brother's mature attitude.

"Ocean! are you also going to reject my request?" ask the girl in a soft voice.

The boy immediately stepped closer to his sister and held her hand into the house.

"I know you really want to spend the holidays this year playing snow all day. But, you also have to take care of your health." said the little Ocean in a soft voice.

"But I want to play with you. When we get back to Italy. You must be busy with your education." said the girl with teary eyes.

Oceanica is the third child of Karina who suffers from Alopecia Areata. This condition makes the child's hair continue to fall out. In the medical world itself this disease is interpreted as a condition that causes a person to experience baldness in part of his head or can be thorough. This is usually caused by the body's own immune attack aka autoimmune.

To this day Karina still blames herself. He felt his daughter's illness began from his mistakes that could not control his emotions and psychics during the pregnancy of his children.

Only a pregnant woman without a husband knows how Karina feels. He has to experience emotional changes that are sometimes uncontrolled. She also takes care of her three children alone.

"Ocean? can my illness be cured?"ask the girl in a soft voice while following her twin steps into the house.

Oceanica has above average capabilities. He is also good at painting and singing. It's just that he sometimes feels insecure with his bald head. What else if the girl went to school with such an appearance. He was afraid that his appearance would be the subject of his friends' banter at school.

Karina also did not allow her daughter to go to public school. He was afraid that Nica would be the subject of other child banter that would cause lifelong trauma. He decided to hire a teacher who could teach Oceanica from various subjects that his daughter liked.

Sometimes Nica is envious to see her twin sisters already have many friends at their school. Nica doesn't have any friends. He only plays with his beloved cats and dogs. Sometimes only animals can understand their mood.

"I aspire to be a great doctor and will create a cure for you. Don't worry about your recovery. I will definitely try my best for your recovery." replied the little Ocean smiling warmly looking at the sad face of his sister.

"Although my illness is not a dangerous disease. But, I've heard the chatter of doctors who check on me often. If they haven't found a powerful cure for my illness." Nica said in a trembling voice.

Karina was unable to stem her tears from hearing the chatter of her two children.

"For what has abundant wealth and also a high position. If money can't cure my daughter's illness." she muttered with tears.

For ten years Karina worked as a CEO in her father's company. He was busy managing the hereditary company of his father's extended family.

Now the company has grown quite rapidly thanks to the intelligence and persistence of the woman. Her father recognized Karina's greatness in managing her business. While her stepmother acted more and more crazy since the death of her daughter. He was busy spending his time drinking and venting his lust for the gigolos he hired. Gavin Menzies was not at all concerned with the conduct beyond the confines of his second wife. Sometimes Karina wondered in her heart. What was the reason the old man used to marry his stepmother. "Hows it? are you guys done playing the snow?" karina asked looking at her three twins.

"Thank you for reminding your sisters."

"Together, Mam. As a brother I have to protect my sisters." Karina smiled at her first son's reply. Even though they were born twins. But they have the opposite attitude.

Little Ocean was always acting mature and treating her younger siblings warmly. While Oscar has a cold and flat nature. It was very difficult to make the second child smile. .

"Let's eat. Mama's already prepared your favorite dinner."

They all walked to the dining table.

Karina placed a plate of chicken katsu teriyaki in front of them. Karina also added some vegetables for my children.

"Thank you for dinner, dear Mama. May Mama be healthy always and more eager to prepare food for us every day" they said along with making Karina's heart touched.

"Beloved together. Hope you like your mama's cooking."

Karina kissed the heads of her three children. He sat down and had dinner together.

He loved to see his son grow up with a handsome and beautiful face. Karina hopes that one day her children will grow up together. Protect and love each other when he is no longer with them.
