The Reincarnation Of The Poor Princess

The Reincarnation Of The Poor Princess
Thirty Nine (39)

The next morning, Stella opened her eyes, then got out of bed. A few moments later, someone knocked on the door of his room.

"Instant," he replied, briefly.

Chequek.

The door opened, revealing the figure of Suzy and several servants behind her.

"We will soon prepare the bathtub, Princess," said Suzy, before finally starting to work with the servants she brought. They prepared warm water that Stella would use for bathing.

Stella just stared at their activities in silence. There were many questions in his head, so he did not focus on the surroundings.

After Suzy and a few other servants finished preparing the warm water, they gave way to Stella who stepped into the bathroom.

Stella takes off her nightgown, then soaks in the bathtub. A warm sensation immediately spread on his skin. Later, Suzy touches Stella's hair and starts cleaning it, while some of the other servants help Stella scrub her body using liquid soap.

Initially, Stella stared at the surroundings indifferently. But then, he did not see anyone he knew in this room. Normally, it was that person who helped her take a bath, yet now that person was nowhere to be seen.

Stella looks at Suzy and asks, "Where is Bonnie?"

After Bonnie worked at Everstell Palace, the woman and Suzy served her, especially in the morning. Suzy doesn't usually bring along other maids besides Bonnie, so Stella feels like something's going on while she's still asleep.

"Bonnie was called His Majesty the King this morning," Suzy replied, then looked at Stella carefully.

"His Majesty called him?"

"Yes, Princess."

After it was quiet, there was no talk at all.

Stella thinks back to Suzy. He found it rather strange that a servant like Bonnie was called directly by the king, unless Bonnie made a mistake. But lately Stella hasn't seen Bonnie make a mistake.

Why did that Shavir call Bonnie?

Stella asked herself. He was still thinking, until a moment later, something flashed through his mind, making Stella flinch.

Ah, come to think of it, Bonnie used to work at my mother's palace. He's probably called because Shavir's gonna ask about Alexa. Well, it might be like that.

On the other hand, a female servant was prostrating on the floor. His body trembled as thoughts about death appeared in his head. Before him, a man stood with a sharp gaze directed at the female servant.

"Pardon me, Your Majesty!" The woman's servant asked for forgiveness. He didn't want to die today, so it was better if he asked for mercy a thousand times. At least he won't be hanged. "I'm guilty! I deserve to be punished! I'd rather be punished than die, so punish me, Your Majesty!"

"Ck." The man clucked. His sharp gaze scrutinized the female servant who was prostrating before him. Eyebrows sharpening. "I don't need that. All I need is your answer! Tell me, where's Alexa?!"

His voice was cold, not having the slightest trace of mercy.

Hearing that, the female servant shivered. Lips vibrate. His vocal cords were numb, so he could not say anything.

The man in front of him became impatient. His sword, which was in his hand, jolted the floor, making the atmosphere even more gripping.

"Java!"

The female servant gasped. He wet his lips, before finally answering hurriedly, "Sa-I don't know, Your Majesty! Her Majesty the Queen did take me and my co-workers away when the incident happened, but after that Her Majesty the Queen left us at the capital of the Risteard Kingdom, and she left using the teleportation portal. That's all I know, Your Highness...!"

"Then why did you show up at Stella's palace? Why?!"

"That's it. .. it's because Her Majesty the Queen entrusted the Princess to me!"

"What?"

"I'm at the Princess' palace because I want to fulfill Her Majesty's final request! I didn't mean to be mean to the Princess, really!"

The man, King Shavir, fell silent with a blank look. Beside him, Creed, who saw his master unfocused on the current situation, immediately took over the job of the king.

Creed asked, "Why did Her Majesty leave the Princess to you?"

The maid breathed a sigh of relief when she heard the voice of another person who was not as cold as the voice of the king. He's getting a little relaxed. The lady's maid, Bonnie, immediately replied honestly, "I don't know either. Her Majesty the Queen only asked me to look after the Princess when she was not at the Princess' side. Could it be that it was a mother's instinct that something dangerous would happen, so she made such a request on me?"

"Maybe so," Creed replied, agreeing. "When the incident happened, Her Majesty the Queen made a teleportation portal and took you away from there. That so?"

"true."

"But, why didn't Her Majesty the Queen bring along Prince Dhemiel and the Princess?"

"That's what it looks like."

"Yes, Sir. And .... Oho! I remember something! Not only did Her Majesty the Queen and we leave, but the Second Prince also left...."

"... Second Prince?"

At this moment, King Shavir and Creed spoke at the same time. They're riveted.

"Yes, Second Prince, the Princess's twin."

"What's? Twins?"

King Shavir's purple eyes grew bigger. What is this reality?

***

"Good morning, Princess."

The soft voice of a woman greeted Stella. Her light purple-colored wavy hair rolled back, her pumpkin-colored eyes looking at Stella gently. She smiles. A reddish hue crept across his cheek.

No doubt, she is Azalea Orma, Stella's magic teacher.

After the incident, Azalea continued to visit Stella despite Stella's repeated refusal. Azalea's stubbornness, wanting to teach her magic, makes Stella unable to stop the woman from visiting her.

From then on, Azalea officially became Stella's magic teacher, although the relationship between them was still awkward, even now. From then on, Stella never practiced magic at a magic training ground, but rather at her personal library.

"Good morning too, Master." Stella greeted Azalea. Her face was still the same as before― expressionless. He was still unhappy with Azalea's presence. Well, I admit that she did help me a lot in understanding magic, but I still don't like her, Stella said.

"Then, let's study magic in the Royal Library, Princess." Azalea's words made Stella frown. Seeing Stella's reaction, Azalea further widened her smile until her eyes narrowed. "Specifically for today, we will study in the Royal Library instead of in the Princess's personal library. This is the absolute order of His Majesty the King."

What the fuck?!

Stella's expression darkened. He opened his mouth and spoke. "Should we study there?" his tanyanya, accompanied by a dark air surrounded him.

"Yes, Princess."

"Why?"

"Because this is an order from His Majesty the King," Azalea replied calmly and still with her smile, as if she had guessed the rejection reaction from Stella.

That's not what I meant!

Stella bit her lower lip, feeling annoyed.

Why did that Shavir suddenly give such an unreasonable order? I, right, cannot use my magic at will if I am in the Royal Library! There must be plenty of ice man spies!!

While studying magic with Azalea, Stella often used her magic at will. It was a satisfaction for him who had never seen magic at all.

One day, Stella once messed up her personal library with her magic. But no one scolded him, because it was his territory―Everstell Palace.

However, if Stella were to study magic in the Royal Library, could she mess up the place without getting punished? Of course it can't.

In addition, sometimes the aura of the "Goddess of Death" that Stella possessed united with her magic power, thus causing her eye color to change from time to time; first red, then purple, then red, after that it becomes purple, and so on.

If the incident happened to Stella today, then Stella need not feel anxious, because she was in her personal library, so as to be able to hide her eyes from Azalea. However, it was another case if he was in the Royal Library.

She could indeed hide it from Azalea, but could Stella hide it from the people who were in the Royal Library? Not likely.

"Sucks," Stella said as she walked towards the Royal Library, while Azalea followed behind.

Alright. He would practice magic in the Royal Library according to the order of the king.

But, don't blame me if you hear that someone's messing around in there. Heheheh, Inner Stella while grinning widely.

Incidentally, he was bored today, so it was fine for him to have some fun in the Royal Library for just a moment, right?

And I hope not to meet the academy students there later.
