After a long wait, Ferdinan was already impatient to see the state of his wife. Again Ferdinan paced back and forth with his parents waiting for the doctor to come out of the room.

When he saw the doctor coming out, Ferdinan went straight to him.

"How's my wife doing, Doc?" asked Ferdinan worried when he found the doctor who had just come out.

"It's fine, just not conscious. If you want to wait, just one person first yes, because the patient needs enough rest." Answer the doctor.

"Okay, if that's what I'm sorry about." Said the doctor farewell.

After that, Ferdinan immediately went inside and met his wife who was lying on the patient's bed. As for both her parents and her brother being asked to be outside first.

"Ma, Pa, Ferdinan first yes, who went inside. Later after Yuan regains consciousness, you may enter." Ferdinan.

Both of his parents nodded.

"Yes, it's okay. Yuan your wife, and you're entitled to enter first." Answer mother.

"Sister, I'm in first." Said Ferdinan who actually felt bad.

Daniel smiled as he nodded.

"Yes, please. Yuan is your wife, and you are her husband who is entitled to her. True what Mama said, we enter later only if Yuan is conscious." Answer Daniel.

Being impatient to see his wife, Ferdinan went inside. When he closed the door again, his gaze was fixed on his wife who was lying limp due to gunshot wounds from her ex-lover.

Slowly Ferdinan stepped on his feet, his guilt so great because he had to receive a shot from his dark-eyed ex-lover.

"I'm sorry, Yuan. Because of me, you're gonna have to get a gunshot wound from Jenny. I should have been the one, but it was you. I promise, I won't let my guard down anymore. I'll make up for your wounds, and I'll make you happy." Said Ferdinan while rubbing the back of his wife's hand.

Yuan who was no longer affected by the dope, slowly moved his fingers, also opened his eyes until his gaze was perfect. Later, Yuan realized that her husband was holding her hand still daydreaming.

Wanting to break her husband's daydream, Yuan deliberately moved her hand strong enough, so Ferdinan himself was shocked.

Ferdinan, who seemed to be in disbelief when he found his wife unconscious with a short time, was smiling looking at his wife's face.

Yuan nodded. Not long after, the doctor came and examined her. After that, the doctor returned to the care of the other patients. Now, in the room there are only Yuan and Ferdinan.
