Tears flowed warmly on her clean cheeks, her eyes opened slowly.
I'm where am I?
Geet gnawing feels heavy. From the direction of three o'clock, there was a tall figure wearing a doctor robe behind him.
There's a stethoscope hanging around his neck.
Geet's forehead is contorted to see it. Who'sis that?
Suddenly the doctor-robed figure turned around carrying a syringe making Geet startled.
Afran???
Afran himself was surprised to see him drop the syringe.
"Lho Geet, are you conscious?? Thank goodness..." Afran immediately put on a stethoscope and examined it.
Shine a flashlight in his eyes.
Geet was still confused, but his body was difficult to move. His voice did not come out so weak.
"Geet, you know me, right?"
Geet nodded slowly.
Afran breathed a sigh of relief. "Gue was almost desperate. Lo comma for three months."
The comma??
Three months???
"Lo rest first. Slowly you will recover." Afran rubbed sweat on Geet's forehead.
As soon as Afran checked the infusion, and fixed the location of the Geet oxygen hose.
Geet's tears flowing again made Afran startled and rubbed his head.
"Lo's definitely cured, Geet. I'll take care of you."
Geet just looked at her in tears.
***
For almost two weeks, Geet was able to move his body and was able to sit in a wheelchair.
"Now you eat first. I'm bribing ya." Afran feeds the porridge, Geet eats slowly, his face still pale after lying down for more than three months.
"Where is this?" Geet looked around the vast garden. The atmosphere is so cool and calm. There is no noise like in the city.
"This is my house. Atop. I can't take you to the hospital, so I'm taking care of you here. Three months you're in a coma, making me afraid you won't survive." Afran removed the remaining porridge on Geet's lips using a tissue.
"Gue why, Fran?" Ask slowly.
Afran stirred the porridge and fed it again. "Lo accident and critical."
Geet was speechless considering the incident with Huza. Is that all a dream?
But if it's a dream, why am I sad to lose Huza? Geet's tears came again.
Afran wiped away the tears on Geet's cheek. "What's wrong? Same story I. Sometimes I hear you call Huza's name. Who'sis that? How can you dream of him to cry gini?"
Geet sobbed louder, Afran shuffled his arms around him.
For a while Geet shed his tears, Afran just rubbed his head letting Geet vent his grief.
Until he doesn't continue eating.
After nearly twenty minutes of crying, Geet finally stopped his crying.
Afran got me a glass of water. "Drink first."
"Now you're telling stories, what's going on?"
Geet twirled the ends of his clothes, puzzled to begin with. He was worried Afran wouldn't believe him.
Afran was still waiting for him to speak.
"I wanted to ask you before, Fran." Geet was a bit hesitant, but he had to ask that. "Loe... Heart donor recipient huh?" The question made Afran flinch.
"Lo know where it's from? I never told anyone. Only my parents knew and they died. How do you know?"
Means her cooperation with Huza is not a dream!
It's true that Huza said, the first person he saw so consciously was the recipient of Huza's heart donor.
"Geet, tell me, how do you know?" Afran stared at him.
"If I told you, what would you do if I wasn't sane?" Ask slowly.
Afran Kontan shook his head and tidied up the hair covering Geet's forehead.
"Lo can trust me. Just a story."
***
Almost two hours Geet recounted a series of events that caused Afran to be glued to see the girl sobbing in memory of Huza.
"Lo's not kidding, is Geet?" Afran.
"What am I kidding? I see you go into the building wearing black clothes, bring a blue handle knife, and dig up a knife with a scary face. I'm afraid of what it is that I'm a dark surgeon who's surgical people to remove his organs."
Afran flinched and stood up, trying to digest Geet's story.
"Lo is not wrong. I came to the building with a knife to keep watch if I was attacked. But when it happened, you were still in a coma here. You mean, as long as you comma lo be a ghost haunting in that building and you see me infiltrate that building?"
Geet had no other answer, just nodded. "Lo answer me first. Why are you going there?"
Afran sat beside him, seriously. "Gue find out more about my heart donor." Afran breathed in trying to calm down. "Five years ago I had an accident and my heart didn't last more than 24 hours. The only way I survived was a heart donor. It was all going well. I can recover and do my usual activities. But over the past year, I have been dreaming. About an abandoned empty building, far away on the edge of town. At first I thought it was just a normal dream. But the dream was repeated continuously until I myself was afraid to sleep, because I did not know what the meaning of the dream was. Until a few months ago I had information about my heart donor. Last time he was seen around the building. I finally found the building, exactly like the one in my dream. But what I saw made me shock."
"See what?" Geet asked making Afran look at him.
"Look at you being carried by people in black clothes out of the building and they want to bury you in the back of the building." Afran answered, Geet flinched.
"Gue buried them?"
Afran nodded. "But I managed to fail them and take you away from there. It turns out you are still alive, only your injuries make you unconscious. I can't take you to the hospital, for fear that you're not safe. So I brought you here. Since I died a year ago, the house is empty. So you're safe here."
Geet. It turned out that Afran was not a criminal as he had thought. This guy helped her. If Afran does not come then, Geet's fate is somehow buried alive.
"So you're actually killed because of their pergokin surgical men and taken away his organs?"
"Gue saw that. But after getting hit, I don't want anything else. I realized that I was wandering in the building and met Huza Adrian. He's a heart donor for you." Geet's explanation keeps Afran riveted.
"Adrian Huza?" Afran held his left chest. "This is her heart?"
"He just told me, if I realized later, the first person I saw was the recipient of his heart donor." Geet touched Afran's left chest and felt the heartbeat so fast.
Yep. Huza, I can taste it, it's your heart. You don't really miss me, her mind.
For a while they were busy with their own thoughts.
"Git.." Afran clasped Geet's hand and placed it right in his heart. "As long as I'm alive, I'll take care of you. I'll help. We are both fighting for this syndicate to be arrested immediately. I don't want Huza's death to be in vain. And I can't stay silent if they take innocent human lives."
Geet sobbed holding Afran's face. "Gue miss Huza."
Afran held her hand and hugged the girl. "Gue is here. I'm not staying on you."
Geet spilled his tears in Afran's arms.
